Ever since Nicki Minaj took off the pink wigs and flamboyant garbs, she has been receiving much acclaim for sporting a more natural look. After earning magazine covers from FADER and L’UomoVogue, GQ has given the femcee a feature for their November issue.
In between falling asleep during the interview, YMCMB’s head barb described the steamy video for “Anaconda” as normal.
“She is just talking about two guys that she dated in the past and what they’re good at and what they bought her and what they said to her,” the 31-year-old said of the video. “It’s just cheeky, like a funny story.” She continued, “I don’t know what there is to really talk about. I’m being serious. I just see the video as being a normal video.”
Nicki also spoke about why she ditched her colorful, outrageous outfits for a more refined, classy look.
“I always thought that by the time I put out a third album, I would want to come back to natural hair and natural makeup,” she told me. “I thought, I will shock the world again and just be more toned down. I thought that would be more shocking than to keep on doing exactly what they had already seen.”
The story has been shared hundreds of thousands of times on social media, buts its not true.
The street artist known as Banksy has not been apprehended by authorities as reported.
The report started from a site well known for writing parody and false stories, but this didn’t prevent it from going viral as fact. In the initial hoax, the article claimed that the capture of Banksy had been confirmed by the BBC, London police and other verifiable sources. The piece also said that that Banksy’s real name is Paul Horner. All of those entities have denied the validity of the piece, according to the ibtimes.co.uk.
In the past years, there have been a number of reports that the infamous Banksy had been captured. They have all been wrong.
An unknown rapper from upstate New York is willing to fake it ’till he makes it.
Darell “Money Mars” Tate took to his Instagram over the weekend (Oct. 18) to fool his followers into thinking that he got signed to the legendary Def Jam Records, who recently celebrated their 30th anniversary. The rapper posted a poorly written fake recording contract that read “Once you are here you are required to (4) four albums and (8) eight mixtapes you will get the minimum of (250,000) two hundred and fifty thousand every two months and we are expecting you to put out hard work and dedication towards our project.”
After Twitter caught on to the fakery and stories started to pop up about the suspicious paperwork, Mars posted links to the stories exposing him.

(AllHipHop News) Back in the late 1990’s Jay Z, DMX, and Ja Rule had planned to unite as the megagroup Murder Inc. Unforunately, an album from the trio never came out, and MTV caught up with Ja to discuss why the project never saw the light of day.
Backstage at the Def Jam 30th anniversary concert Ja Rule said:
We tried to deliver that album. It was a situation where egos all just played a part in its demise.
We couldn’t get X and Jay in the same room. From long ago, their storied battle on the pool table with the guns out – that carried over into our careers and we were all trying to do our thing separately. It was hard to get all of us into a room to do what we needed to do.
We did a few records together and those records will always be classics to a lot of people in the history of Hip Hop. I wish that album would’ve came to fruition. It would’ve been real dope…

(AllHipHop News) The rumored love affair between Tyga and Kylie Jenner has led to a lot of negative reactions. The fact that Tyga is 24 and Kylie is 17 does not sit well with some people, and of course those critics use social media to share their feelings on the matter.
One example of that online criticism is an Instagram user’s message to the California based rapper. @smartchik78n posted the following scolding comment on one of Tyga’s IG photos featuring his son King:
Nasty a– pedophile..your career and family is worth losing over this Kardashian baby thot @kyliejenner..I hope @blacchyna takes you away from your son..you should be locked up.
Tyga decided that particular comment deserved a response and addressed the person on the same picture. He wrote:

U wish u can have a baby by a n***a like me and live this lifestyle.let me guess no one wants u or ever attempted to spoil u and give u the world like I do for mines. While Tyga and Jenner have been pictured together a lot recently, the “Hookah” rapper and the younger sister of Kim Kardashian have not officially announced they are a couple.
(AllHipHop News) Over two months ago 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot and killed by Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson. Up until this point, Wilson’s side of what took place that day has not become public, but the New York Times is reporting to have information about what Wilson told government officials briefed on the federal civil rights investigation into the matter.
The officer, Darren Wilson, has told the authorities that during the scuffle, Mr. Brown reached for the gun. It was fired twice in the car, according to forensics tests performed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The first bullet struck Mr. Brown in the arm; the second bullet missed.
The forensics tests showed Mr. Brown’s blood on the gun, as well as on the interior door panel and on Officer Wilson’s uniform. Officer Wilson told the authorities that Mr. Brown had punched and scratched him repeatedly, leaving swelling on his face and cuts on his neck.
The article does point out that Wilson’s account does not clarify why Brown was shot at after the initial incident at the police vehicle. Multiple witnesses have stated that Wilson pursued Brown as he was running away and then fired on the teen as he put his hands in the air to surrender.
Officials do not believe the evidence gathered so far is enough for federal civil rights charges against Wilson. There is a St. Louis County investigation into the shooting also taking place.
(AllHipHop News) Veteran producer DJ Premier is already on pace to drop a joint project with Royce Da 5’9” as the duo known as PRhyme. The legendary board master also announced he will team with battle rap icon Loaded Lux for a full album as well.
“I was like, ‘Yo, we gotta work on a project,'” Premier tells RapIsOutOfControl. “We haven’t put it out there, but we’ve been having verbal meetings about doing an album project together, and we’re gonna make that happen.”
There was no word on whether the Premier/Lux album would come before or after the long-awaited Premier/Nas collaborative project. Last November Premo explained that Nas would finish up his next solo project first, and then the two Hip Hop titans would get together for a joint effort.
(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper’s brother was arrested for allegedly punching, kicking, and stomping a drunk man at a college party in Chicago last month. According to DNAInfo, Michael Taylor Bennett is accused of attacking the victim after the man stepped on his foot.
The incident was apparently captured on video by partygoers, and that footage was used to identify Bennett. The 18-year-old turned himself in to police and was charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm. Bennett’s friend Jake Kalmin was also arrested for taking part in the attack. Both were held on $75,000 bond.
The 19-year-old victim needed staples to close a gash in his head. He was also treated for a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain. Prosecutors claim he continues to suffer from impeded speech and headaches.
Think It’s A Game Records artist Trinidad James drops the remix to his track “Def Jam” after he was released from the historic label earlier this year. Despite his release from Def Jam, Trinidad has been steadily releasing material, this time getting the assist from Young Scooter and Twista on the Jonboi produced track.
DMX has been called a lot of things, but his ex wife may want to call him hero. The Yonkers-bred rapper has saved her Mt. Kisko, NY crib in 2000 for home from foreclosure. Tashera Simmons, the wife, shares the home with their four children.
The mortgage went unpaid for nearly four years, according to published reports. However, DMX stepped up and paid the amount in full, a total of $258,927.87.
Legal documents filed in Westchester County, NY were posted by The Jasmine Brand and indicated that DMX paid the entire mortgage in full.
The home’s original price was $649,000 when DMX bought it in 2000.

Kandace Springs
The first artist is Kandace Springs. She made an early performance at this year’s AfroPunk Fest, and at the very least she made a standout performance of her live performance of “Meet Me In The Sky” with nothing but her soothing voice and her serious piano skills. Recently, Springs has been opening for acts like Chance The Rapper and Ne-Yo, and has also performed on The Late Show With David Letterman. Springs released her self-titled EP, and it sounds amazing. Hopefully, we can find out more about this dope artist, and when’s she’s coming out with an album. But for now, check her out in our Three Questions series.
Jordan Bratton
Ever since the first time we’ve heard Midnight Rage, Jordan Bratton has been stirring up a lot of interest for his music. The young, New York native released his debut project The Grey Area earlier this year, and has even released “Must Be” to show his growth as both an artist and a human being. Bratton’s voice might seem a bit to young at first glance, but his unique lyrics and smooth production makes the delivery a step up from the competition. A few days ago, Jordan Bratton released the remix of his song “Danger” featuring Fabolous. Jordan Bratton is definitely an artist worth looking out for.
Minus The Sky
When you first hear this Baltimore band, you feel as if you have traveled to a new perspective of psychedelic rock. But when you hear lead singer Gidae Cambell soul’d out verses on the song, it will change everything you think about this young band. Minus the Sky released their debut EP Elysian Fields in the spring, but this album still seems to end up in rotation even now. The solid combination of rock, funk, and soul creates something completely out of the ordinary. It sounds awesome, and it only makes you want to listen to more than this six-track EP. Keep an eye on this group, because it seems like their local appeal will change after a few future projects.

Brazilian television may not have a clue how sensitive the “N-Word” is for Black people if a new TV show is an indication.
A new program called “Sex And The N#####” is a take on “Sex And The City,” but it follows four Black women.
The prime time show is written by a white man, Miguel Falabella, has people in an uproar, highlighting bigotry and bias. A national boycott has ensued and critics are all over this one.
“In the series “Sex and the N#####”, the narrator is a white person. She is a voyeur; someone who is looking through a keyhole at the sexuality and the bodies of black women who can be raped and manipulated by structural whiteness, not only literally but also through cultural representation. Our existence is fetishised. We are on display for the white gaze. Moreover, even when the characters in “Sex and the N#####” are placed in situations of explicit racism and sexism, they do not react. The women remain silent or dissolve into strange giggles. These women do not represent us.”
Nick Cannon and Amber Rose are not an item, right? But these rumors don’t stop ’til they get enough. Anyway, so yeah…Nick and Amber. They have a strictly professional relationship but it seems there are eye witnesses that are countering the notion. In Touch mag is staying just that – otherwise! They are saying that Nick and Amber were looking rather “cozy” the other day.
Nick Cannon stepped out to support model Amber Rose at the XXIV Karat Sparkling Wine Launch party in LA on Thursday night, further fueling speculations that the two may be an item. “They were sitting very cozy in her booth. He wouldn’t take pictures with her. He said it was her night, but clearly he didn’t want to because he didn’t want people to speculate on their relationship.” (In Touch Weekly)
I’m thinking these guys are just victims of an evil media that won’t allow them to be working professionally. They need the “goss” to keep a story moving. Nick is saying that his very public divorce won’t allow him to be in a relationship right now. Understandable.
