If there ever was an Outkast movie made, Andre 3000 already has someone in mind to play him.
Complex caught up with 3000 at a screening of his new Jimi Hendrix biopic, “Jimi: All Is By My Side,” where he revealed who he thought would be a good fit.
“It would be great to make an Outkast movie right now, but instead of really serious, make it a full comedy — like Kevin Hart would play Big Boi,” he said of his rapping partner last night. And as himself? “We should cast somebody stupid — like Leonardo [DiCaprio],” ” the Outkast member said.
Now don’t get me wrong, Leonardo is legit with the acting, but hopeful Andre was just pulling our legs when he shared this one.
The first independently released single by T.E.A.R.S. featuring mainstream R&B group Jagged Edge titled “Bottom Girl”. An ode to Hip Hop, its a summer time record!
(AllHipHop News) On October 21, Atlanta rapper T.I. will release his 9th studio album Paperwork. Tip hookedup with his “Blurred Lines” collaborator Pharrell Williams to executive produce his latest project. The Grand Hustle leader feels his work with Skateboard P will result in an amazing musical combination.
“Aside from DJ Toomp, it’s the first time I’ve allowed a producer to come in and kind of shape my sound as he saw fit,” states T.I. “You must find ways to reinvent yourself in order to remain relevant. And who better to help me than someone as passionate and talented as Pharrell? He found a way to bring a colorful, left-field approach to my blue-collar celebrity. Between his wings and my anchor, we balance each other out. That duality is what makes this project unique.”
Tip also tapped Toomp, Timbaland, and DJ Mustard for production. High profile artists including Jeezy, Iggy Azalea, Chris Brown, Boosie, Usher, Rick Ross, Skylar Grey and The-Dream make appearances on the set. Pharrell is a featured artist on three tracks as well.
“When I first sat down with Pharrell, he told me to think ‘out of the stratosphere,’” adds Tip. “What solidifies the resulting Paperworkis a unique blend of refreshing yet timeless material. As Pharrell would put it, we’re trying to rewrite history.”
T.I’s Paperwork is available for pre-order on iTunes. The album features the singles “No Mediocre” with Azalea and “About The Money” with Young Thug.

(AllHipHop News) Wu-Tang Clan supporters have been waiting for the Hip Hop collective’s new album for a while. After disputes among some members, the Wu reunited on The Daily Show last month in preparation for the release of the A Better Tomorrow LP.
Revolt caught up with Raekwon, the initial hold out for A Better Tomorrow, to discuss the reunion album. Rae was able to settle his issues with RZA for the betterment of the group and their fans.
“Like RZA said, the Better Tomorrow album is coming and of course your brother is on board. We reconciled our differences as brothers and business partners at the same time,” said Raekwon. “Everybody’s just trying to work, I’m just happy that people still acknowledge us, because we’re a part of this Hip Hop thing for real.”
Rae promises A Better Tomorrow will be something special for the serious rap followers looking for true Hip Hop.
“A real n***a gotta have it. If you’re a real n***a, you know how important it is to have a real CD in your car or just in your ear and just vibe to it,” adds The Chef. “This is gonna be real.”

Prior to that, the battle rap legend spoke to MTV News on the event’s red carpet about the potential match-up with Drizzy. According to Mook, the Toronto rapper would have his hands full with the Dot Mobb member.
“[Drake] can rap really well,” said Mook. “I’m not saying he would win… [He’d have to practice] a lifetime, maybe. I don’t think there’s nobody in this world that can beat me… No chance. It ain’t just about him. I’m not giving nobody no chance.”
Mook also added that the night the Young Money performer proposed the idea of facing off in a battle, Drake stated that if he did step in the ring it would create “the biggest battle in history.”

(AllHipHop News) Dame Dash filed a lawsuit in New York Superior Court against famed director Lee Daniels (The Butler, Precious). According to Billboard, Dash is arguing he deserves credits, ownership, and millions of dollars in compensation for giving Daniels $2 million to produce the film The Woodsman.
Dash claims he received a written agreement that gave him executive producer credits, 50 percent of rights on the movie, and a promise Daniels would repay him with interest. He also alleges the filmmaker asked to shift the repayment of the $2 million to an investment in his Shadowboxer project.
The complaint reads:
In exchange for keeping quiet about being owed money, to avoid bad press in light of Lee’s upcoming projects, and foregoing prompt payment on the personal guaranty, Lee, and Lee Daniels Entertainment, promised Damon, both o#####, and in writing, that Damon would be given a producer credit and partial ownership rights to any and all of Lee’s projects — i.e., current and future TV shows and/or films — until Lee paid Damon back the $2,000,000.00 plus interest that Damon had originally invested with Lee.
Dash believes this entitles him to credits and compensation for Daniels’ other films Precious, The Paperboy, and The Butler and the upcoming TV show Empire.
Daniel’s attorneys responded by saying, “Regrettably, it’s easy to make allegations. Proving the allegations is a different story, and the precise reason why the judicial system exists. Mr. Daniels looks forward to the Court’s scrutiny of the merits of Mr. Dash’s misguided claims.”

Looks like The Flockas had enough and decided to do their own thing…
Newlyweds Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera were on this crazy a** season of Love and Hip-Hop ATL. Filled with fist fights and sex tapes, it seems like the pair were sort of the odd ones out amongst the other cast members.
VH1 saw fit that the couple strike out on their own. They both shared via Instagram that their spinoff reality show, “Meet the Flockas” would be coming soon.

(AllHipHop News) The feud between 50 Cent and Slowbucks began partly because Bucks posted a picture of himself with 50’s son Marquise Jackson and 50’s rival Trav.
That action eventually led to Slowbucks’ chain being snatched on stage at Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert, and disses on tracks and social media being thrown back and forth.
It appears all the drama has not phased Slowbucks’ relationship with Marquise. The fashion mogul once again posted a picture of the teenager on his Instagram page. The caption for the photo reads:
My lil bro @199viq (Marquise Jackson) came threw 2day & kicked it with me .. We stopped in the 50’s & checked my n%a @Meech_TheBoss out & cleared the racks out over @GetSetNYC then went threw Da 90’s 2 check@Bz718 & Da #GSC BOYZ #BQE sh!t F%k all that negative sh!t this is #Family sh!t #LikeDis
Marquise briefly showed love to Slowbucks on IG recently as well. Before removing the pic, he posted an image of the Slowbucks Over Everything mixtape with the caption: “That #SBOE Dropped Today.”
(AllHipHop News) Reality TV stars are known to go at it on screen, but two alumni of the Love and Hip Hop franchise battled on Twitter. Rapper Soulja Boy and singer K. Michelle threw shots at each other overnight on the social media site.
The issues between the two began when Soulja Boy alledgedly said he slept with Michelle. She then went on The Breakfast Club radio program and denied the allegation that she had sex with the “Crank That” performer.
“Let me tell you something, Soulja Boy – cause I know you’re gonna hear this – What you’re not gonna do is lie on my hot pocket. When I do something, I say I did it and that’s what it is. So that giggling,” Michelle said. “We don’t want to giggle about that transgender in Atlanta. Giggle, giggle, now crank that.”
This led to a series of hostile posts from SB, and Michelle responded back in kind.
