Pusha T Talks Gay Rappers & The N-Word With Larry King (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) King Push sat down with Larry King to discuss some controversial topics. The G.O.O.D. Music emcee chats with the legendary talk show host about homosexuality in Hip Hop and the use of the “n-word.”

King asks Pusha T why he thinks there are not more openly gay rappers in the industry. The Virginia native responds by challenging the idea that the Hip Hop community would have a problem with a gay rapper if the artist’s music is good.

“At this time, I sort of feel like the gay and homosexual culture is just not – the coming out party is just not that important anymore,” stated Push. “I don’t think we care.”

The conversation then turned to the word “n***a” and Pusha’s position on the NFL’s decision to ban the word.

“I think it definitely should be banned,” says the “Numbers On The Boards” rapper. “Anyone who gets my music, it’s a conscious decision to pick up my music, buy it. I feel like I don’t necessarily want to hear the ‘n-word’ on the instant reply cam as I’m watching the game.”

On his own use of the word he adds, “It’s offensive to some, but I would say that I’m using it amongst my peers and amongst people that I’ speaking with… I’m not offending anyone when I use it amongst people that I’m using it with.”

Easy Yves Saint – Blur (P###. Dorian [The Outfit, TX])

The consumption of liquor can be a blessing or a curse. For The Niceguys emcee Yves, it’s definitely both. On his latest solo single, the Queens emcee by way of Texas admits that we may never know the complete story of his alcohol filled nights thanks to the BLUR they’ve left behind. We get enough of a rough outline, though, to fill in the gaps.

The mechanical beat from producer Dorian (of The Outfit, TX) will most likely give listeners the feeling that these hazy nights have become a habit of EYS, with no end in sight. Maybe the rest of the details will come to him on his upcoming EP, Sincerely, Yves, which is due out May 6. The offering will be the first in a series of three EPs, each with 5-6 songs. Looks like he’s about to make a major statement in 2014.

T.I. And The Game Stand Off With The LAPD

(AllHipHop News) T.I. and The Game have had their share of legal fracas, but that didn’t stop the pair from engaging in a stand off with the Los Angeles Police Department.

The pair reportedly thought mutual acquaintances were brutally beaten by the police as they were making a club appearance. In fact, their friends were beaten by security at the club when a fight broke out. According to reports, their associate threw a punch at security and was thrashed, because some of the entourage couldn’t get into the club. While on the ground, the defenseless man was also kicked in the face by one security guard.

The two rappers were on the scene as the police were called to restore order. At points in the video, it seems like the factions would engage each other, but it never happened. The Game particularly seemed upset, but cooler heads prevailed.

TMZ obtained video of the whole ordeal. The first video shows the fight and the second shows T.I. and The Game.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Drake Loves Rihanna's Nude Pics!

Not every dude is down with allowing his girl’s beauty to be on full display for the world to see. In fact, Chris Brown had a few complaints about Rihanna’s freak-like nature! But, not Drake. Drake is very HYPE on RiRi’s nakedness! Not only does she see her as beautiful like most people, but he reportedly gets off on the notion that he’s the man that she’s most interested in. HollywoodLife.com says,”Drake would never complain or criticize Rihanna’s sex appeal because in his mind, she’s FLAWLESS! Nobody does it better than her. She’s grown and sexy, with a banging body and if she wants to wear her birthday suit all day long, he’s down with that. He’s been infatuated with her from day one and now, thankfully, he’s the luckiest man on the planet.” They were saying that Drake may have been cavorting with some paramour, but now he’s back on track with Queen RiRi.

Young Wants Money: Teen Rap Group Sues Lil Wayne For Non Payment

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne and Young Money/Cash Money Records have a long history of not paying artists, but this is a first. Today (April 30th), Young Money teen rap group W3 The Future filed a lawsuit against Young Money Entertainment for non payment.

According to TMZ, the group’s production claims the group was promised a $600,000 advance from Lil Wayne and Young Money Entertainment. After completing their contractual obligation and releasing their debut self-titled EP on October 17th, 2013.

According to the suit, Young Money forked over the recording budget but have not compensated the bulk of the alleged $600,000 advance. Grassroots claims Young Money’s only response to their requests for compensation has been “Cash Money is not moving forward with this project.”

The group was signed to Young Money in May of 2013 and toured on Lil Wayne’s America’s Most Wanted tour.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Why Was Kurupt Coming Outta Donald Sterling's Chick's House!

This story won’t stop and as much as I want to get away from it, I can’t. I definitely can’t when rap legends are coming out of her house. Apparently, Kurupt was seen on the news in the West Coast coming out of V. Stiviano’s house with a V. Stiviano HAT on. This is odd and nobody fully knows what he was doing. I’m so confused.

Jim Jones discussed how the record came about, while discussing his upcoming music and film projects.

“It’s a record I did for DJ Eskimo (DJ Esco), shots to my brother Chubby,” Jim Jones told AllHipHop.com from Scott Storch’s Miami recording studio. “He had a beat he wanted me to get on. He said ‘I have a dope beat man, I’m going to put a play together.’ Esco was putting a mixtape together. Chubby spoke to Future and I went in the studio with Young Scooter and we banged it out. It was pretty dope ”

Pharrell Says "The Powers That Be" Kept Cee Lo Green From Originally Releasing "Happy"

(AllHipHop News) Pharrell’s 2013-2014 has been a phenomenal run of artistic and commercial success with the smash hit “Happy” as the crown jewel. However, according to Pharrell, this year of dominance could very well have been Cee Lo Green’s.

While appearing on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, Pharrell revealed that “Happy” was originally intended for Cee Lo Green and Green actually even recorded to the song. Although, Green expressed interest in releasing the record, Pharrell stated other forces kept him from doing so:

The powers that be at the time did not see it fit for him. There was a much bigger agenda. He had bigger fish to fry. He had an album coming out.

Pharrell’s version of “Happy” was released commercially on the Despicable Me soundtrack in June 2013. Four months later, the Los Angeles Police Department reinvestigated an alleged rape case involving Cee Lo Green. This would not be the first time Pharrell has replaced Cee Lo Green, presumably due to his court case. Less than a month ago, Pharrell was announced as the replacement for Cee Lo Green on NBC’s The Voice.

In addition to his interest in buying the team, Dre stated he shared the same sentiments towards Donald Sterling that Snoop Dogg released in his inflammatory Instagram video. While Dre is interested in buying the Clippers, he states he is unsure if he will change the name.
