Eminem is expected to push crazy units his first week from the Marshall Mathers LP 2! The dude that calls himself a “rap god” will reportedly push over 700, 000 the first week. NOW, remember last week this album sprung a leak and people were going crazy with the downloads and pre-listens. WELL! I hope he pushes a lot of units so that he can comeback with a new album that replaces this one. I really didn’t care for it, but I thought Recovery was really dope. So, lets let this one be successful and then he can make an album I can fully appreciate. Saleswise though…this is going to sell oodles of albums.

DMX Cancels Appearance On The Wendy Williams Show Later Today

(AllHipHop News) DMX has been a lightning rod for negative press for the majority of the 2013 calendar year and it has finally taken a toll on the 42 year old rapper. In an official statement from his rep, DMX has cancelled his scheduled appearance on The Wendy Williams Show.

Originally set for a performance with Swizz Beatz later for today (November 6th) on the show, DMX is instead bowing out “due to media scrutiny” according to an official press release from the rapper’s camp:

Due to recent media scrutiny, DMX will not be appearing on The Wendy Williams Show this week. The team apologizes to his fans who were anticipating his performance but we are holding off on interviews and focusing on making music and organizing a world tour.

Recently, DMX was arrested for minor traffic violations which TMZ reported to being “driving on a suspended license, driving while uninsured, and driving an unlicensed vehicle.” X was soon released.

Hip-Hop Rumors: What Former Friend Now Reportedly Hates Cee Lo Green?

Hate is a strong word, but it seems that Christina Aguilera is not fond of Cee-Lo at all these days. Cee-Lo beat the charges that he drugged a woman with Ecstasy, but that wasn’t enough for X-Tina. Apparently, she simply wants nothing to with him, because she believes the allegations against him were true. She also has made a promise to producers of “The Voice” that she would continue to act normal around Cee-Lo despite her disdain for her co-star. A report by the National Inquirer says that Adam Levine and Blake Shelton feel the same way. I thought they all did drugs, so I’m not quite clear why they are judging Cee-Lo so harshly. Christina is pretty squeaky now so I guess I can see her feeling that way. Cee-Lo still has some charges against him and will answer to that in court later this month.

Kanye’s people have made it a point to note that there has been NO issue with ticket sales. In fact, they said the following:

Yesterday, on the road to Vancouver, a truck carrying The Yeezus Tour’s custom-made video truss and 60-ft circular LED screen was in an accident that damaged the gear beyond repair. 

This gear is central to the staging of The Yeezus Tour, and central to the creative vision put forth by Kanye West and his design team at DONDA. 

As a result of this event, it is impossible to put on the show and The Yeezus Tour will be postponed until these essential pieces can be reengineered and refabricated. 

Kanye West will not compromise on bringing the show, as it was originally envisioned and designed, to his fans.

The only thing is Kanye continues to tour, but some dates are canceled whereas other dates are continuing on. Insiders are speculating that ticket sales are slow and low on dates, forcing them to simple cancel dates. Some have speculated that Kanye has upset the public to the point where they are no longer fans and some feel the Yeezus album simply didn’t do it for people. I dunno.

BET To Air Special Episode Of Rap City Featuring Eminem

(AllHipHop News) For one night only, BET is bringing back its seminal Hip Hop program Rap City. The special edition will focus on Detroit emcee Eminem and his new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. The network’s VP of music and programming Stephen Hill announced the show on Twitter yesterday.

Rap City (aka Rap City: Da-Bassment) was a hallmark of Hip Hop television for two decades highlighting the rap videos and artists that defined the music scene at the time. BET ran Rap City: Relapse with Eminem in 2009 for the release of his sixth studio album.
