The UCLA football team sure is interested in celebrity kids these days, aren’t they? The Division 1 school, fresh off of awarding a scholarship to Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, has just offered a similar scholarship to rap legend Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell Broadus.
Despite only being 15-year-old and merely a sophomore at Diamond Bar High School, Broadus has played football all of his life and is already 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds. UCLA coach Jim Mora says he offered the scholarship to Cordell because of his skills on the field.
If Cordell accepts the offer, he will suit up next to Diddy’s son Justin in the year 2015, and the two will likely play together for three years.
Well, Snoop is a notorious fan of the USC football program, so who knows what advice he will give his son. We’re just glad to see another rap star’s son heading to college!

“It’s authentic Hip-Hop, it’s the business…it’s 2012, so it doesn’t sound like it would sound if it were 10 years ago or 20 years ago, but it’s definitely official. It’s a breath of fresh air. It doesn’t sound like anything that’s out right now. I think it’s crazy. It’s the business. It’s real.” His digital partnership with the My Connect Studio software allows “two people to collaborate on music real time despite their location.” This, of course, will be used by LL to record a portion of his new album.

A Swedish woman was forced to sit next to a dead body on a Kenya Airlines flight for nearly 10 hours! According to the International Business Times, Lena Pettersson was on a flight from Amsterdam to Tanzania, when the man in the seat across the aisle starting experiencing seizures and began sweating profusely.
The passenger ended up dying mid-flight, and since it was a full flight, she was forced to sit across from the dead body for the entire 10-hour flight. Those seated next to the body were moved to other areas of the plane. The flight staff laid his body across three seats and covered it with a blanket.
“Of course it was unpleasant,” Pettersson explained to a local newspaper, “but I am not a person who makes a fuss.” When asked about the amount of her refund, she added, “This feels much better. It is reasonable.”
After complaining to Kenya Airways about the uncomfortable situation, the airline refunded Pettersson $713 (5,000 kronor), which is roughly half of the price of her ticket.
This is insane! Why wasn’t the plane diverted to another airport so they could unload the body? To make people endure siting across from a dead body is completely insane. She should sue the pants off of Kenya Airlines!
(AllHipHop News) In a visit to New York’s Hot 97 radio station, Rick Ross brought out the whole Maybach Music Group (MMG) team to discuss the Self Made Volume 2 release, which hits stores today (June 26).
During the interview, Rick Ross fielded questions about how he picked the current MMG team and what he sees in artists to make them successful in the rap game.
“[What I see is] the amount of emotion that they put into the music and the type of impact that I think that they can possibly have,” Rick Ross told Hot 97. “Now it’s all about ways of bringing it out. We get in the studio and find ways to do it, its all love and the energy is there. It’s not easy, but it works.”
While the rumors have swirled over the last few weeks about Rockie Fresh, Nipsey Hussle or Dom Kennedy, Rick Ross said none of the aforementioned acts have signed to MMG.
The rapper said that he is focused on his current roster of artists, which includes Wale, Meek Mill, Stalley, French Montana, Omarion, Gunplay and others.
“Shout out to the lil’ homie Rockie Fresh, that’s one of my lil’ homies and I’m a fan of his music, but as of now he’s not a member of MMG. But as far as [signings]- we forever evolving, but I’d love to focus on the homies that we have here. You gonna see a lot more from Gunplay, and everybody else just keeps grinding and when they’re time comes, step up to the plate,” Rick Ross said.
For those wondering, Rick Ross hasn’t forgotten about the Triple C’s, as he still has plans for Gunplay as a solo artist.
“Yea he’s been down with me from day one, he’s in the team, he’s good, its just when he was ready to make the decision that, ‘I’ma leave the streets alone a lil’ more, with time enough to focus on my music.’ Gunplay is a different type of artist and he a different type of dude. He don’t care about awards, he don’t care about whoever, he not into that. But he just making his mind up that he really getting ready to put out a solo album. So you can expect a big announcement soon, I want to see the homie’s dreams come true as well,” Ross said of Gunplay.
