XXL Magazine recently revealed the 2016 edition of their XXL Freshman Class Cover. The cover tends to feature the artists making the most noise or having the most success as new comers in the rap game. With the announcement, came some of the best slander, roasting, and shade. This year’s class includes Desiigner, Dave East, Denzel Curry, G Herbo, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Dicky, Lil Yachty, Anderson.Paak, 21 Savage, and Kodak Black. Public consensus seems to be that this list is trash. Is it that people believe that the wrong artists were selected, or is this a reflection of the rap game being trash right now?
