(AllHipHop Rumors) DMX turned into a stray dog when it came for him to do his his performance at Def Jam’s 35th anniversary! Apparently, he just went ghost, dog! Arf! Arf!
“He was literally MIA. Fabolous and Jadakiss saved the day in the eleventh hour,” an insider told Page Six.
Somebody told them that DMX was a “no show for personal reasons” and just decided not to go. We don’t know why, but I think it’s for the best, right? Personal can take on a myriad of meanings for somebody such as DMX.
All was not lost, true believers. Fabolous and Jadakiss jumped in to save the day and the dynamic duo rocked the crowd of about 750 with hits like “Breathe” and “We Gonna Make It.” Don’t sleep: this was a real crowd DMX dipped on! Chainz, TJ Porter, Fetty Luciano, Slick Rick, Stretch & Bobbito, DJ Premier, Teyana Taylor and others were all there for HIM!
No word yet on what that “personal” matter was for DMX.
