CHILD ACTOR-TURNED-P### STAR GETS PREGNANT!
Remember Jaimee Foxworth? She used to star on Family Matters as the cutie “Judy.” Well she grew up and eventually did a few p#### flicks. Definitely not a good look, but, maybe her star rose because of it. She’s had some issues outside of that and it landed her on a show called “Celebrity Rehab.” Now she is shaping up to be a part of Middle America. She is now having a baby, according to People magazine. “I haven’t been this happy in years. Being sober has opened my eyes to a whole new world. I’ve been through a lot of pain in the past and I never really wanted a child until recently. I now look forward to years of joy to share with my child.” I wish her well. I have nothing snarky to say about her man. She actually emailed me a few years back. Real cool chick.
YUNG BERG’S CHAIN GOES HOME
Man, the story of Yung Berg’s chain has been something else. It has had more twists and turns than a daytime soap opera. A couple nights ago, there was a show in Detroit and the chain showed up and made an appearance. I am not sure who the headliner was. All I know is that Trick Trick and Royce Da 5’ 9” rocked it. As Trick Trick performed, there was the Transformer chain on the neck of Trick Trick’s brother. Man…I know that chain is exhausted with all that touring. Anyway, I thought I’d let you know.
Here is the video:

ILLSEED’S QUICKIES
Somebody sent me an email about Peter Gunz, father of Corey. The letter was about several females heated that he ganked them for some cash and was out. I can’t call it as fact, but just a pretty detailed letter that I’m not publishing.
In case it wasn’t clear, Ransom didn’t actually slap Budden’s homey. It was Ransom’s homeboy that did it. Looks like Ransom doesn’t want to get his hands too dirty, and Joe Budden wants to stay 100% clean (on youtube, at least).
I heard its possible that Yung Berg might have gotten beaten up down in Florida by some local rappers. I hope not…I really mean that.

I am hearing that Mariah Carey is REALLY pregnant.
RANDOM QUOTES
Soulja Boy has diarrhea of the mouth again, going at Nas:
“The n***a that killed Hip-Hop is Nas. He came out publicly and said Hip-Hop is dead. If Nas would have never said that, they wouldn’t have had that terminology. He killed his own career with that s**t. If you do Hip-Hop and you come out and say “Hip-Hop is dead,” you killing your own career.”
Chuck D preaches the gospel to The Beat.com.au.
“I think that people give MTV too much power because that’s the reason why people think rap music is a particular way. They’ve left rap in a sad state, the fact that MTV is more powerful than hip-hop is outrageous. I’ve never been disappointed with the artists, I’ve been disappointed with the coverage of them. Radio and television are worse and some artists will say anything or do anything because if they do, they’ll be financially taken care of, because they will get those good aspects broadcast and they’ll build a profile. Print media, radio, television- they’ve just covered hip-hop wrong.”
50’s baby moms sued him for breach of contract and this is what 50 Cent had to say:
“If I ever intended to make that kind of commitment to Shaniqua, I would have married her.” (OWNED)
KATT WILLIAMS AND STEVE HARVEY COOLS OFF AND HEATS UP!
I know I posted this on illseed.com, but I am not sure if it was on the rumors page. Here is the record of Katt Williams rapping and dissing some people like Ricky Smiley and Steve Harvey.
STEVE HARVEY STRIKES BACK!
Steve says he thought they were all good, but now he doesn’t feel that good! “A dog don’t bark at parked cars. A dog only barks at cars that are moving and going somewhere,” Steve Harvey. That’s a quotable.
EPIC FAIL OF THE DAY
Rap music originated in medieval Scottish pubs, claims American professor? Somebody will be looking for a job soon, I would have to say. I saw this headline and it blew my mind that Professor Ferenc Szasz has decided to proclaim that Rap music somehow got its start in the medieval taverns of Scotland – NOT THE BRONX. Uhhhhh…. Here is the theory according to the UK’s Telegraph.
According to the theory, Scottish slave owners took the tradition with them to the United States, where it was adopted and developed by slaves, emerging many years later as rap.
Professor Szasz is convinced there is a clear link between this tradition for settling scores in Scotland and rap battles, which were famously portrayed in Eminem’s 2002 movie 8 Mile.
He said: “The Scots have a lengthy tradition of flyting – intense verbal jousting, often laced with vulgarity, that is similar to the dozens that one finds among contemporary inner-city African-American youth.
“Both cultures accord high marks to satire. The skilled use of satire takes this verbal jousting to its ultimate level – one step short of a fist fight.”
This man works at the University of New Mexico. I am not even going to give the man any credibility other than to say that he must be some new fool that may not deserve a degree. They might want to take a trip to Africa or something. Certainly, you can have similarities in other cultures, but Rap music is a phenomenon that started because of man different factors, not ONLY some poetry stuff.
SHELZ JUMPS BACK IN THE MIX
Here are some rumors from my girl Shelz.
I Can’t Feel My Face
Juelz Santana told my folks over at Yoraps that his collaborative project with Lil Wayne is complete. He said the music is in the can at this point and the only thing that they are waiting on is the politics to get worked out. Once that happens though, it’s a done deal. So if you are looking forward to it, you don’t have much longer to wait.
Monica Is Not Married
If you heard she and Rocko tied the knot in some super duper secret wedding, you were misinformed. So stop crying. There is still a chance you will get that invite when the big day is finally set.
Eric B is Back on the Scene
I haven’t heard much about Eric B since he hooked up with those dudes who left Aftermath to put together Drama Family. But it looks like he’s got another project going on; Eric B Special Projects/Music Group. When asked about the company, he had this to say.
“My goal is to build a 21st Century Motown. Motown was an assembly line for hit music. Motown was a true music factory. Product with the Motown name is still viable ten, fifteen, years after its initial release. Most of the hits made a decade ago are still playing on the radio airwaves today.”
Sounds like ole dude has big things in mind. I wish you luck Mr. B.
Hip Hop Down Under
Chuck D in a room with a DJ and some fans. Nothing out of the norm. But the first 10 seconds of ole girls performance who comes in at about the 5:20 mark really made my day. Go Izzy. Get bizzy.
The Three Amigos
I’m just sayin… Can Steve Martin get a little of that auto tune?
YUNG BERG, WE LOVE YOU!!!
They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry!
