Although Kim Kardashian has been very successful in her own right, for sometime some have wondered how Kanye West married her.

With the controversy surrounding Kanye West’s recent comments directed at Jay Z about Jay Z’s lack of support following Kim K’s robbery, and the rumors that Jay Z thinks Kanye is a nut case, rumor has it that Kanye West only married Kim Kardashian to keep up with Jay Z.

It kind of makes sense especially at the time when their relationship started. After all, Jay Z is big bro to Ye, and Hov has been married to the baddest female in all of the land, Beyonce.

Word on the street is Kanye felt the need to compete with Jay and settle down with someone he felt was equally powerful and influential as he is.

Everyone knows how egotistical Kanye is, and sometimes when you are trying to keep up with the Jones’ you have to go to extreme measures.
