ScHoolboy Q Says Tyler, The Creator Foiled His Collaboration With A$AP Rocky

This would’ve been CRAZY!

A$AP Rocky is easily one of the very few artists who share electric creative chemistry with ScHoolboy Q—Tyler, The Creator is among the others, but he apparently fumbled a collaboration amongst the trio.

Well, at least Q thinks so, according to his recent #AskMeAnything session with fans on Twitter (X) ahead of the March 1 release of his upcoming album, Blue Lips. In response to a fan questioning if he had regrets about not furnishing a guest verse in any given situation, Q revealed he nearly made an appearance on Tyler’s 2017 album, Flowerboy. However, Q claims a case of high-level capping is the main reason it didn’t happen.

“WHo dat boy but Tyler keeps lying like He sent me tHe beat..” Q wrote. “tHem idiots sHouldve neva put dat out witHout me.”

To add insult to injury, Q and Rocky have an illustrious collaborative history, highlighted by fan favorite hits such as “Brand New Guy” and “Electric Body.”

On the notion of collaborations, Q went on to reveal that he has a collaboration with Paris Texas in the vault that was destined for his upcoming album—but like Tyler, Interscope Records apparently didn’t allow it to happen.
