Word on the street is that Joe Biden is helping Donald Trump work through this crisis between Israel and Iran. Yeah, that Joe Biden and that Donald Trump—two men who don’t exactly have Sunday brunch together. Remember when Trump won the election and refused to allow a proper transition team?
Weird energy. Reportedly, there was no communication between the two presidents at all. (That was due to Trump.) That may not sound like a big deal, but when it comes to international affairs, that lack of handoff is a huge problem. Trump has never really proved to be a diplomatic heavyweight.

Now, here we are: a full-blown war between Israel and Iran, and the U.S. is firmly riding shotgun with Israel. Trump has been saying some double-speak, but we know what it is. Meanwhile, a lot of folks aren’t feeling how Israel is handling things in Gaza and Palestine. I’m not a foreign policy expert, but from what I’ve seen and heard, the suffering happening over there is tragic and needs to stop. Yesterday.
To make things even murkier, some people are blaming Trump for setting this whole mess in motion, while others say Biden isn’t off the hook either. Apparently, some of the policy groundwork for all this chaos was laid by his administration too. I think it goes back to when Israel was created in 1948, but don’t mind me. But now Biden is fighting cancer and was just trying to get a moment of peace on a beach in Delaware. Suddenly, the dude Trump called senile and incompetent IS called back to Washington to clean this up. WTHELLY!?
Meanwhile, Trump might be out here wrecking any hope of progress. Whatever side you’re on, this is a tragedy, a geopolitical disaster, and nobody in the streets wants this smoke. My people—all my people—want peace. We want to live, thrive, and love, just like God intended.
Anyway, here’s what’s happening in the world… as if you didn’t already know.
