Cardi B clapped back at critics on social media this week, confronting body-shaming comments regarding her post-baby figure in a series of fiery exchanges that set Twitter ablaze.
The rapper didn’t mince words when fans criticized her appearance following the birth of her third child, born on September 7, 2024.
A user by the name of Tim Gretszky kicked off the drama with a post suggesting Cardi had compromised her looks.

“The fact Cardi B really did that to her body is pissing me off! 😔😒.. Like y’all gotta start loving yourself ladies! No way she should’ve fucced her s### up like that an she really thinks that s### look good too. Smh, it don’t Cardi, you still bae a lil bit but you blew it,” Tim wrote.

In response, Cardi B shared a sharp retort with her followers tweeting that the criticism was misguided since her appearance in one of the videos was exaggerated due to wearing a “5X faja,” a compressive garment.
“Y’all really need to relax ..This is how my body REALLY LOOKS LIKE,” she asserted, clarifying that the overblown look came from the shapewear.
The star called on fans to think critically about context, especially after her recent childbirth.
Further complicating the situation, a fan named Zhane added to the drama by trying to make fun of Cardi’s abdomen.
“Babe, you still look crazy…and your stomach always looks like it’s about to rip apart.”
Cardi’s reply was unapologetically direct: “B#### you literally look like a f##### potato yet you talking bout my looks wit a passion…This why I be dragging you b###### by yall draws cause b#### why you got soo much nerves.”
For her part, Zhane seemed to revel in the back-and-forth and wasted no time trying to get under Cardi’s skin again – and she succeeded.
