Twista’s Kamikaze debuted at #1 on the
Billboard 200 charts.
The album, powered by the Kanye West produced
hit single "Slow Jamz," which also features Jamie Foxx, moved over
312,000 copies.
According to Billboard, the album almost matches
the to-date sales of Twista’s 1998 release Mobstability.
The album has moved a total of 397,000 copies.
Kamikaze was the only album to move over
100,000 units according to chart data.
The release pushed Outkast’s Speakerboxxx/The
Love Below, which moved 85,000 more copies last week, to #2.
