In the world of business and fashion, Kimora Lee Simmons stands out among established and up and coming trailblazers.
But observers will get a chance to know a different side of the mogul with her new reality television series, Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane.
The show will offer a glimpse into Simmons world as she juggles her roles as CEO of the multi-million dollar Baby Phat brand, mother to daughters Ming and Aoki and estranged wife of Hip-Hop icon Russell Simmons.
Viewers will go deep inside the Baby Phat offices during the shows one-hour premiere episode to witness the process behind the creation of a major new advertising campaign, from initial concepts to the final shoot in LA.
Additionally, viewers will drop in on a meeting between Simmons and executives from Mattel, regarding the Kimora Lee Simmons Barbie doll in development, which is due in stores during the holiday season.
As the episode continues, Simmons heads home for a session with her yoga instructor, as he helps her to unwind with some unusual positions.
The instructor also makes a visit to the Baby Phat offices, where he helps Simmons staff de-stress, with unexpected results.
During the season, viewers will wake up with Simmons world as starts her day, visit the Baby Phat offices and store and travel with the executive to Los Angeles, New York and Cannes for business and personal endeavors.
Among the events captured on the show will be a Baby Phat fashion show and a Hollywood Vanity Fair party.
The weekly half-hour series will also introduce viewers to Simmons “cast” of supporters, which include her cook, yoga instructor, dog trainer, lawyer, publicist, personal assistant and Baby Phat staff.
Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane will premiere at 8 p.m. ET/PT Aug. 5 on the Style Network.
