Virginia emcee Skillz continued his annual tradition this week with the 2009 edition of his yearly “Rap Up.”

This year, Skillz had many events to cover, such as Michael Jackson’s sudden passing, the Nas-Kelis divorce, and the Rick Ross-50 Cent beef.

The rapper took aim at Chris Brown for his assault of Rihanna, but criticized both parties for how they handled the media fallout.

“Chris Brown, now that’s my guy/But how he do an interview/And all y’all notice was the bow tie?” Skillz rapped. “The media went hard/Chris you want us to forget just say what really happened in the car/Rihanna, she kept quiet/Until she had an album to sell but we still ain’t buy it.”

Skillz also teased Lil Mama for stage-crashing Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ MTV set, and Tiger Woods’ infidelity exposures.

“The idiot of the year is Tiger Woods/Can you say fail?/Who else is named Tiger/Why would you leave your name on the voicemail?,” he inquired. “And we was all shaking our heads at Lil Mama/Like, why was you on stage?/Nobody gave you a que/And with a head that big/You should have thought that through…”

In addition, Skillz recapped events this year from Drake, Lil Wayne, T.I., Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas-Perez Hilton, and Jay-Z.
