Last night (December 28) Mac Miller performed his second of two consecutive show-dates at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ.
In front of a sold-out crowd, Mac continued to show those in attendance why their continued support has elevated him to the levels of success that other independent artists would kill for. He was the first independent artist in close to a decade to debut at #1 on the charts since the Tha Dogg Pound. One of, if not, his biggest singles, “Donald Trump,” was certified Gold earlier in the day, and he is a nominee for MTV’s Hottest Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
The big question going forward is what Mac has up his sleeve in 2012 to top the smash year he had in 2011. Besides working with Hip-Hop’s elite like Bun B and Pharrell, Mac revealed that he recently did a couple of songs with Harlem native Cam’ron, that he plans to release some time soon as well.
