Kendrick Lamar's Performance Was Most Talked About Grammy Moment On Twitter

(AllHipHop News) Kendrick Lamar might have tied India Arie in 2002 with seven Grammy nominations without a single win one night, but he was the people’s choice.

According to information released from Twitter, Kendrick Lamar’s performance with Imagine Dragon at the 56th annual Grammy Awards was the most tweeted moment of the event. The performance garnered 171,593 tweets per minute. Over 15.2 million tweets were sent out during the east coast telecast of the Grammy’s.

Beyonce was the second most mentioned artist on Twitter during the Grammy’s behind Lorde, which makes her the most mentioned artist on Twitter to not win a Grammy last night.

This year’s Grammy’s telecast reportedly attracted 28.5 million viewer, the second highest ratings for the Grammy’s in over a decade. However, the 28.5 million viewers is less than a1 1% increase over the 28.4 million viewers from last year’s telecast.

    • That’s funny as hell, I used to love wrasslin when I was a lil boy, up until I went to an actual wwf match…that s*** was so fake that I was damn near heartbroken….I couldn’t even imagine it now, prolly got gay wrestlers and all with how sensitive the world is nowadays.

      • DC King Of Hearts

There was one for a minute named Rico. And they tried to make Billy Gun and Chuck Palumbo into first gay wrestling couple, buuuuuuut that was a publicity stunt…

I’m not entitled to my own opinion? For your information, I liked Kendrick Lamar’s album. It’s just that it was released in 2012.

Its called controlling the emotions and is a promotional tactic. You temper the crowd and control….hell, why bother….

      • Frank

So you agree, he did tear it down?

And yeah, I get it, they had to put the cooler in to calm the people. But even knowing that (already, or after you started to explain) the next question is still WTF?

Like if you had went through with your sex change into a woman. Even though I know what’s happened, I’d still be like “WTF”?
