(AllHipHop News) ESPN even covers Carter V Season. Lil Wayne announced that later today (August 14th) he will reveal the album cover for Tha Carter V.
Back in late April, Kobe Bryant sent out a tweet from his personal Twitter account of a photo of “Tha Carter V” which many construed as the official album cover. In a June interview with ESPN, Wayne not only denied the photo being the album cover but also credited the legendary Laker as creating “Carter V season” idea:
He came up with it. I saw that and thought, That’s dope as hell, so that’s what we’re calling the [album] campaign. I thanked him.
There is no release date set for Tha Carter V.
