T.I has just signed a publishing deal with the largest music publisher in the world.
Sony/ATV Music Publishing has signed a long-term, worldwide deal with the rapper/actor. The deal will cover all of his future recordings and his writing share of Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines,” which was the most downloaded song of 2013.
“T.I. is an all-round talent and we are thrilled to be working with him at Sony/ATV,” said Sony/ATV’s chairman and CEO Martin Bandier. “He already has an extensive catalog of hit songs and albums behind him and there is plenty more to come, starting with his new album.”
Iggy’s mentor also seems thrilled about this new partnership.
“I’m excited about this partnership and am looking forward to the opportunities that will come of this new venture. Sony/ATV is a world renowned entity and I’m honored to be a part of this family and to be allowed to contribute to its legacy.”
Tip just released his ninth studio album, Paperwork, on Oct. 21st, which is projected to debut in the top ten.
