(AllHipHop News) Adrien Broner is not one to be shy when it comes to talking about money. The boxing star known as The Problem even adopted the phrase “About Billions” as his personal brand. In a new interview with AllHipHop.com, AB explains how his goal of reaching 10 figures prevented him from signing a $40 million deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports.

“I’m gonna make more than that,” responded Broner when asked about rejecting the Roc offer. “Take $40 million to stop me from making a billion?”
The Cincinnati native continued, “It’s a difference when you ain’t never touched no money or you don’t see what you can do. But I really see and I know what I’m going to do.”
Broner did admit he could have worded his public statements about not signing to Roc Nation differently. In 2015, AB suggested Jay could “suck my d-ck” for only proposing $40 million for five years. He later apologized for the comment.
