(AllHipHop News) Charismatic former Roc-A-Fella Records head Dame Dash will soon be taking his business acumen to the video streaming realm, with his latest venture Dame Dash TV.
The over-the-top (OTT) channel from Dame Dash Studios and Film.On TV Networks will feature entertainment focusing on the spaces of business, travel, music (Hip-Hop and rock and roll), comedy, fashion and “the good life.”
“What you’re watching now is the DNA of the millennial generation from my point of view,” said Dash in a statement.
“This synergy with FilmOn’s global platform is going to get our content out to an even broader audience. We’re getting bigger. And stay tuned for scripted content soon.”
Although this is Dame Dash’s first attempt at his own television channel, he is no stranger to the world of film and television.
The former music mogul has written, directed and produced movies, such as Kevin Hart’s big screen debut “Paper Soldiers” (2002) and director Lee Daniels’s first two films, “The Woodsman” and “Shadow Boxer.
Programming for the new channel will include entertainment such as, “The Dame Dash Show,” which will provide lessons on business success and “Hip Hop Motivation,” set to be hosted by Dash and Kenyatta Griggs with expected appearances from Cam’ron, boxer Andre Berto and more.
