Murs Attempts To Set World Record With 26-Hour #BarsForDays Live Rap Marathon

WATCH THE LOS ANGELES RHYMER’S AMBITIOUS FEAT

(AllHipHop News) Today (October 12), Murs will attempt to break the world record for longest continuous rap marathon.

The Los Angeles rapper plans to rhyme for a total of 26 hours live online.

“It’s not going to be a freestyle. I’ll leave that to the champion, Supernatural,” Murs explained to AllHipHop.com in July. “It’s going to be like rap karaoke. I’m going to do some of my own songs, some songs from my new album that no one’s heard yet, and some songs that I never put out that I really like.

In partnership with Boost Mobile, Murs has been hosting the Hip Hop talk show Where You At? L.A. over the last few months.

Episodes of the series have featured guests such as YG, Problem, Casey Veggies, DJ Quik, Warm Brew, Mike G of Odd Future, Kyle!, J Boog, and others.

The finale of WYALA will include the live stream of Murs’ entire 26-hour rap marathon. Viewers can watch the event on Boost Mobile’s Youtube Channel.

Fans can also share their thoughts about the challenge and cheer on Murs via social media by using the hashtag #BarsForDays.

“It should be funny with me jumping around, screaming, getting delirious, hungry, and tired, peeing on myself probably. Who knows? Tune in, it’ll be the first time in your life you’ll go to sleep seeing somebody rapping and wake up and they’re still rapping,” added Murs.

The 26-hour Where You At? L.A. rap marathon begins at 12 pm ET/ 9 am PT.
