Rap star Vyshonn “Silkk The Shocker” Miller and his older brother Percy Miller (formerly known as Master P.) have teamed with Gene Van Horn and World Ventures, to create a new affiliate marketing business.

Miller’s latest endeavor, yourinvestmenttravel.com, shows budding entrepreneurs and home-based travel agents how to earn money in the travel industry, which is a $ 7 trillion dollar a year industry.

World Ventures, which is a private company located in Dallas, Texas, has active representatives in all 50 states.

According to Miller, the travel industry is an untapped market that hopefuls can tap into with a minimal investment, yet earn a high return.

"Instead of spending a couple hundred dollars at the mall, you could put that money towards starting your own small business," said P. Miller. "If you just sacrifice $500 from your weekly personal expenses and invest that in a one-time investment in yourself, you will not only be able to afford more in the future, but you will also be building generational wealth for your family."

According to Miller, he hopes his latest business endeavor with his younger brother will be a model of success for those attempting to break into the lucrative industry.

“This is not about entertainment,” Miller said of his new affiliate marketing company. “This is about exposing people to other opportunities that lead to financial freedom. If you are in the music business and you are waiting for that big record deal, you still need to eat and take care of your families now. It's time to be more responsible. What about life after Hip-Hop? If you can afford to buy Nike Air Jordan Collection for $310 or True Religion Jeans for $250 during this financial slum, than you can afford a one-time $500 investment into your own business to secure your financial freedom for your future."

In related news, Silkk The Shocker is planning on a new album, as well as a new DVD starring Lil Duval titled More Money, More Family.

That's my problem with folks. I mean go on have ventures. BUT, WHY DO YOU HAVE TO TRY AND PUT OTHER FOLKS DOWN?

I mean its a good deal, he has. But, if you don't help someone make their money. you shouldnt tell them how to spend it.

People prefer to stay home.. or closer to home.

That pic of Silk lookin real suspect! LOL

as far as the biz, its cool I guess! They already got a yourtravelbiz.com so this is his version of it. I hear different stories about how this is the new MLM(mulit level marketing) or pyramid scheme thing. I know a couple people into it but havent really heard or seen any growth in their finances just for the simple fact it takes $500 or so to get started and like a couple people have already stated, is hard to find once the bills is paid!

I DO encourage all to check that new zeitgiest addendum movie out if you havent do so already. Money is a game called "real life monopoly"...the game continues only because we continue to play.....

I think he meant that save a bit from your weekly expenses till you reach $500 and then invest.

Either way, smart move. At least its a break from the monotonous clothing line/record label/alcohol drink that too many artists start

..lol homie you gotta read through the small print there, just because he says 500$ weekly doesnt mean you yaself has to put aside 500$ a week, he is saying put aside something period basically, like 200$ or so, and if cant no brotha and sister on here afford to do that then you need to ? were your working at and make a change!! because 200$ a week isnt shit to save, specially if any you fellas got a woman at home, a real woman, who takes care of bizz and makes that doe also it really shouldnt be a prob to put aside 200-3004 a week.

Everyone does need to look into a means of supporting yourself and being an entrepreneur...ive done it with www.fdidvd.com/agrant and building a great monthly income and planting some serious seeds for my kids future.

Oh..and @ Jr.Mack...feel what u want, but if it werent for these guys, there may not be a NO music scene as far as hip hop is concerned

@  BOOT STATE BALLER

I understand where your coming from but besides being a drug dealer, ball player, successful rapper, or someone way up the exec. chain no one in america can really afford 500 a week throw away money, unless you don't pay your bills or live at home with your momma how still has her titty in your mouth .... i can see stashing away money until you get 500 to invest in to something... but understand something i'm a grown man who pay my own bills on time, support my daughter (with out someone making me) and put money up for both my future and my daughter future ... so before you go judging someone you need to understand there situation ...

Real talk.  It doesn't have to be a great amount, as long as you commit to the amount you want to invest a week, you'll have a nice stack to invest in whatever business opportunity.  But obviously the more you save from your weekly expenses the greater amount you'll have to invest.  Guess them Jordans will ahve to wait.  Do they still sell the P Miller shoe?!?
