I am going to take it light today on the rumors.
I would like to say to my editor-slash-readers – thanks for pointing out all the lil’ typos I do on a daily basis. I’m not mad, I’m glad like those trash bags.
I wrote something else for the day called “The Top 10 Chump Moves In Hip-Hop,” where I talk about some unfair moves rappers did on other people. I don’t think that any of the rapper will catch feelings, but if they do, just know that it’s all in fun. Click here to read it. What other story can mix Jay-Z, Britney Spears, Milk Dee, Canibus, Eminem, Nelly, nooses and other artists in one stupid story?

You know how you defeat negativity? JOIN IT! I love that Jim Jones and Cassidy’s respective crews clashed during the Hip Hop Soda Shop’s grand opening! Look at how AllHipHop’s fine writers tried to put a positive spin on it:

When these wild people start bussin’ each other over the head in the VIP of a soda shop, that does NOT denote a successful opening. Sorry AHH writer! NAH! Here is a part of the story that really speaks to what happened.
According to sources, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana left a VIP area of the club, when Cassidy and members of his entourage arrived.
Three members of Jones' entourage returned and were involved in a verbal altercation with a security guard for Cassidy.
"They were staring at Cassidy like they wanted to tear the fur off of his ass," an eyewitness told AllHipHop.com, who added that the men were unusually aggressive.
The men associated with Jones left after the verbal altercation, but returned approximately 10 minutes later with rapper Jim Jones in tow.
According to an eyewitness, Jones exchanged words with the security guard, who was then struck in the head with a full champagne bottle by an unidentified assailant and knocked out cold.
F**K IT…YOU GOTTA LOVE IT! That’s what AZ and Nas say.
On that note, I find it ironic that that event was Dr. Ben’s affair and Jim and Ben are mad cool. SMH.
OH – THE RUMORS!
The rumor I heard was that the assumed gunshots at the event were actually firecrackers that somebody had set off. So, that’s a positive spin to a bottle-bashing time. I also heard it was all over an iPhone. Peace, in the middle east of Florida.
R.KELLY ESCAPES ARREST!
A judge entered a warrant for R.Kelly’s death…I mean, his arrest. Well, this is because Kellz missed a scheduled court date yesterday. But, as has been the case for his child porn trial, they gave him a break. So, basically they told him to take a break from his 45-city tour and get your tail in Chicago by Thursday or he will be arrested. Kellz was late because the bus driver was tired or something. I didn’t read the article that far in.
FORTUNE MAGAZINE DISSES JAY!
Jeez and I thought LL and Joe were bad for dissing Jay-Z, but now fortune says Jigga did one of the dumbest moments in business of 07:
32. Gimme some skin, dawg. Rapper Jay-Z, founder of the Rocawear clothing line, is taken to task by the Humane Society after it finds that the “faux fur” in jackets sold by his company is actually dog fur.

DAMN DAME? DAME GETS SUED AFTER HIS “PERSONAL ITEM” MAKES A WOMAN INTO A SCHIZO!
I just want you all to know that I am feeling pretty crazy today. That speaks nothing to this most recent story about Dame Dash. Here is some of the story:
She claims Dash hid his true identity by using the alias "Jeremy McIntyre." She claims that Dash then took her to a nearby marina, where he showed her his "genital area" in an offensive manner and then attempted to force the woman to perform oral sex.
A year later, the woman says she heard Dame’s voice on TV and she realized she had been HAD. It wasn’t Jeremy, it was THAT DAMN DAME DASH! She says a year later, she can still hear the instructions given to her.
Roberts claims to have discovered Dash’s true identity in 2005, while she was watching a taping of "The Dave Chapelle Show."
Now she has been declared bipolar and schizophrenic. Coming to a court near you…if you live in New York.
