YESTERDAY’S RUMORS!

Hip-Hop Rumors: Kanye's New Biz, FL Rapper Gets LIFE! Eve Spazzes! Where Is The Game?

Hip-Hop Rumors: Royce And Eminem Are Friends! Shawty Lo Rumor Update!

Archived Rumors!

HALLE BERRY HAS A GIRL!

Shout out to Halle Berry! The Academy Award actress finally gave birth to a daughter on Sunday (March 16)! I heard it went down at 10:17 am at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles! According to reports, the lil’ girl weighed 7lbs 4oz. That’s what up! I am happy for her, because she looked like she was about to pop!

Forget facts…on to the rumors…

LIL’ WAYNE CAUSES CHAOS IN THE UK!?!

Lil’ Wayne rocked at Club Innocence over the weekend, the 15th to be exact. I heard it was pure drama. For whatever reason, the show was completely blocked off from people getting in. Some of the audience eventually got in after the show started. Well, he got on stage right around 11:45 pm and some other rappers were performing!

So, Weezy apparently said, “Why are these dudes on stage? I ain’t performing! Let me stomp on their necks! (Or something of that sort.)” Then, I heard Wayne’s security started to physically remove the acts from the stage so that the young Weezy could handle his biz. That didn’t really sit too well with the crowd and the crowd started throwing water on the stage.

What does Lil’ Wayne do? He throws his mic from the stage into the crowd. Wayne tried to leave, but was stopped by venue security. I guess they were like, “You are performing tonight or ELSE.” Soooooooo… Wayne came back on the stage and performed for about FIVE minutes and then was out. Wayne bounced with roughly 15-20 groupies – allllllll together now. After that, I heard it was like a riot with fights breaking out everywhere. I heard bodies were stomped out on stage!

And there you have it…

TOCCARA MELTS DOWN ON CELEBRITY FIT CLUB!

I’m telling you…Toccara doesn’t need to go through all that weight loss stuff! WE love her how she is – stressing WE! Check out her melt down…and check out my dedication to her.

FAT JOE SPEAKS FOR THE LAST TIME....

Recently my homey Kendra G (Radio Host/ Internet Personality) caught up with Fat Joe in Beverly Hills, California. For the last time Fat Joe gives the full details on what REALLY happened in North Carolina, how him and Papoose peaced things up that night, how he believes that 50 cent is the one who photo shopped the "infamous" picture that ran rabid on the Internet two weeks ago and more. Check out the video to get all the details...FOR THE LAST TIME...But there is more!! Could Fat Joe EVER peace things up with 50 cent? Watch Part II to find out!

Here are the clips:

Can 50 Cent and Joe ever make peace?

IT IS OFFICIAL…BONE THUGS HAVE REUNITED!

My girl Emily talked to Layzie Bone over the weekend. He told her that Bone Thugs are officially back together and they are working out the paperwork. From what I heard they all let bygones be bygones. On top of that, I am hearing that Flesh N Bone is out in June to punctuate the reunion. After this, Bone Thugs N Harmony are going to call it a day as a group – one more album. Layzie said they are making one last BIG album. After that, they are supposedly going to tour forever like the Hip-Hop Rolling Stones, as they do already. They said Interscope will not be releasing the CD and they are very unhappy with their lable. There is good news for Layzie Bone. The vet rapper said he will be in a new film with Ray Liotta and Mos Def and he just recorded a song with Nas. Things are looking up!

50 CENT's MAZARADI FOX UPDATE

Rumor has it G-Unit artist Mazaradi Fox is about ready to drop his solo album early this summer. The album is 95% done, according to rumor, and it will feature guest appearances from 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Young Buck, Maino, Uncle Murder and even defectors M.O.P. This album might be illegal, because there is too much hardcore on here.

In related rumors. There is word that Young Buck may be starting his own label movement. From what I have been told, this is partially a reaction to DJ Khaled not putting him on the airwaves or mixtapes. I think Buck was already on his way before. He’s got a lot lined up.

50 Cent is not signing Papoose, despite a lot of people watering at the mouth for it. I did hear that he is helping the spitter get a deal the same way he helped out Maino.

KANYE WEST WILL SMACK TWISTA?

Look at this…

"THE TRUTH IN THE BOOTH" ABOUT DEATH OF STATIC/MAJOR

Smoke, who sang with Static Major in Playa dumped a whole bunch of info on myspace page and on his blog he stated the cause of Static Major's death. Read below on why he charges it was the fault of the hospital.

Smoke Digglera talks:

There have been many different speculations about the death of my brother, Stephen Ellis "Static/Major" Garrett. I write this blog entry to set the record straight. I, also, ask that you direct all to this blog for the truth. I spoke to my sister-in-law, Static's wife, yesterday at the funeral, and she, again, permits me to do this. She, also, wants all to know "the truth in the booth."

On the day of February 25th, Static was in Atlanta, and began to feel sick. His desire was to go home (Louisville, Kentucky) to be around family and seek medical attention. He had a virus. I, still, don't know what the name of this virus was, but it was not a life-threatening issue, I do know. This particular virus affects the muscles, throat (quivering of the voice), as well as, causes drooping of the eye. He had no history of illnesses or anything of that nature.

Anyone that knows Static, knows that he didn't like hospitals. He suffered the death of his sister in the late 80's, when we first met, and had a conscious or phobia about hospitals. I'm sure he's not the only one. I, now, have that conscious. But, he knew he needed medical attention to become well.

When he admitted himself to Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, Kentucky, the doctors presented him with medicine that would treat the virus. The treatment was taking the medicine through a shunt, in the neck, which treats more severe cases of this virus. Quicker than taking pills for days. Though, he didn't want the shunt, the doctors insisted that he treat it this way. The treatment was a form of dialysis to filter the blood of the virus.

He called his mom and told her, "Mama, something doesn't feel right. It hurts." When the doctor's were made aware that the shunt was hurting him, they took it out......it was over! When taking the shunt out, they took it out in the wrong manner that resulted in damaging the artery. He bled to death! They killed my brother, his wife's husband, his kids' father, his mom's son, and the world's musical inspiration.

His death was ruled "accidental". He didn't have to die!

But, I will say this. In situations like these, I feel that it was time to go home. And, it's not our decision on whether or not to stay. There is one thing that's guaranteed in this life, and that is, we all have to die, in some point and time, and in some way or another.

The moral of this story is do not put off for tomorrow what u could do today! Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised! Do whatever it is that you have to do and whatever it is that you want to do TODAY!

I will be writing more on Static/Major, due to the fact that I, regardless, am highly upset and disappointed in Baptist Hospital East and their procedures on Monday, February 25, 2008.

ILLSEED’S QUICKIES

I find this to be TOO funny! Rapper Big Koon appeared on BET 's Rap City last month. I know that “koon” refers to his uncle, but the irony is too thick.

As if this was news to anybody, I heard Juelz Santana's lawyer is working overtime to get him off Def Jam and Dip Set.

Rumor has it a “shady” executive is interested in getting Juelz if there is an “aftermath” to Dipset.

Scott Storch can’t get any peace, dude. Apparently, he has put his pricey yacht on Ebay looking to unload it.

The Clipse rocked SXSW over the weekend and they sent some words of wisdom to Baby and Wayne, from what I heard. Ab Liva and Sandman were there too, that's what up! REEEEEEEEE-UP!

Barack Obama and the Crisis of U.S. Imperialism

African People's Socialist Party Chairman Omali Yeshitela has been delivering a series of presentations around the U.S. on the significance of the presidential candidacy of Barack Obama. Here are excerpts from the Chairman's speech at the Uhuru House in St. Petersburg on February 23, 2008. Listen to the full speeches made on February 23 and March 2, 2008, this Sunday on Uhuru Radio. Visit UhuruNews.com or subscribe to the Burning Spear Newspaper for continued analysis.
"The U.S. economy is in big-time trouble and Africans are bearing the brunt of the crisis at this point, although a lot of people are going to pay prices. It’s much more than what people understand. And one reason it’s more is that a lot of what’s happening to African people is not being reported as something that’s happening to African people.
"You hear in general terms about people losing homes to sub-prime mortgages, etc. [Black Agenda Report] reads that 'the sub-prime lending debacle should cause massive rethinking among those who have long proclaimed that the route to black equality is through wealth accumulation'.
"It talks about how the 'catastrophic losses inflicted on blacks and Latinos in the U.S. at the hands of predatory lenders has resulted in the greatest loss of wealth to people of color in modern U.S. history'. It says that 'banks and other lending institutions trap blacks and Latinos in predatory lending schemes as a matter of policy'.
"So all this stuff is happening to us. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. When you look at this sub-prime mortgage crisis, you must understand the implications it has for other areas of the economy. They said that last year there was a 26% decrease in new housing starts – the largest in history. So, you’ve got people who can’t buy new houses, people who are losing houses they already got, people who can’t afford to live in houses.
"So what happens? The construction industry is a real serious part of the economic force in this country. If they’re not building houses, they fire people, and they lay people off. If they lose their jobs, many of them are also going to lose their houses, right? It also means that they can’t buy the car they expected to buy. They can’t replace the refrigerator that they planned to do because they’re having problems with it. It means that therefore, the auto industry has to cut back.
"If the auto industry cuts back and the people who make refrigerators and stoves cut back, that means they lay people off. Then the people who got laid off can’t buy new clothes for the children that the planned to get, etc. So that hits the retail industry, so they lay off. Sears (Robuck and Co.), I understand, is fighting for its very life right now. Sears is almost down the drain. So if they lay people off, it means the things that those people would be buying, they can’t buy.
"So this thing reverberates throughout the entire economy. You’ve got a meltdown that’s happening here. I’m not sure where it’s going and all the implications that there are for it. That’s the objective reality that people are confronted with in this country right now.
"And it leads to other kinds of contradictions, contradictions of deeper poverty and a deeper scramble for resources that are not there, in our communities in particular, where it’s been so badly hit. It means more police, more police violence and things like that. And then there’s Barack Obama.
"The U.S. has to use whatever means it can to secure resources around the world. It has to engage in escalated struggle against China and the European Union and other forces out there. And there’s Barack Obama.
"That’s a serious contradiction that we are confronted with, because they’re going to have to do terrible things to African people. They already are doing terrible things to African people. And Barack Obama doesn’t have a program any better than Hillary Clinton’s when they’re dealing with the mortgage situation. And he won’t even say that something is happening to African people here.
"That’s why Africans ourselves are not aware that this is something that’s specializing in attacking us, because nobody will talk about the implications. Nobody will say, ‘this is the summation – look where people are losing their homes; look where it’s happening’, right? That’s a serious problem that we are confronted with.
"A greater problem is that people do not understand the nature of the system itself. People are looking at Barack Obama because he looks like us and assuming that somehow this is a great thing that all these people voted for Barack Obama.
"Part of a whole counterinsurgency policy all over the world has been for the government to kill off revolutionaries, and at the same time they’re killing off revolutionaries, to raise up these other kinds of organizations as false solutions. So when struggle gets real serious, they kill off, murder leaders and then raise up these substitute organizations that pretend to be standing for something. They killed Dadan Kimathi in Kenya, who headed the Kenyan Land Freedom Army and then raised up Jomo Kenyatta. They did that stuff all over the world and created these phony organizations.
"Barack Obama raised more than $100 million! Hillary Clinton - $100 million! Who gave them $100 million? I want to tell you that they work for the ones that gave them $100 million. Their campaign and their program is for the ones that gave them $100 million.
"You can be inspired by Barack Obama because he’s a smart negro. He’s the smartest person out there running. Listen to him talk. He speaks much better than every candidate that’s out there. Y’all got a flare for that kind of stuff. (laughter) So it’s easy to get carried away. You feel pride because “white people are supposed to be so smart but look at Barack”. Right? But you don’t understand the system. Because Barack is working for the same people that Hillary is working for, that McCain is working for, that Huck – whatever his name is – is working for.
"They just had a list of his advisors in the [Washington] Post. They include Zbigniew Brzezinski. You’ve heard me talk about Brezinski, haven’t you? He’s the architect of the Afghanistan trap for the Soviet Union. He was the one who represented Carter as National Security Advisor. He’s the one who people speculate could have even been involved in this 9/11 event that he said would be absolutely necessary for the government to do what it needed to do in order to move the economy forward.
"[The list of Obama's advisors] includes a man named Richard A. Clark, who was Clinton and George W. Bush’s counterterrorism czar. It includes a guy named Gregory Craig, a State Department director of policy planning under Clinton, and now a partner in some law firm, William & Connelly. He’s a foreign policy advisor. It’s got a whole bunch of other people just like that. Major General Jonathan Scott Gration, a 32-year Air Force veteran and now CEO of Africa “anti-poverty effort” Millennium Villages. He’s a national security advisor. And there are a whole bunch of others on here. Those people whose names I just read? Whoever they work for – that’s who Obama works for.
"The other thing is this. It doesn’t matter about an election. We were having a discussion in a meeting the other day and we were doing a study on question of the state as an organization that represents the interests of the ruling class and the existing social system. We were speaking about Obama in relationship to the state. The state is an oppressive organization. It is an organization of coercion. It is like the prison system, the courts, the jail, the military. All these forces constitute what you call state power.
"In the middle of the discussion, we brought up Obama and the fact that, because of the existence of this state of the bourgeoisie, of white power imperialism, it didn’t matter who got elected. And somebody said, ‘well yeah, but look at Obama’s history because he doesn’t have a history of this and that’. I don’t care if Obama had a history of being the most militant member of the Black Panther Party who was also secretly an advisor to Elijah Mohammed at the height of the influence of the Nation of Islam. The reality is, if he became President of the United States he would be subservient to the white imperialist bourgeois state!
"It doesn’t matter about his history. What you need to know is about the history of the state as an institution that exists in human society. If you know that, then you know that whoever’s in charge, whoever is supposedly in charge there, is subservient to that institution.
"Now, Barack has a potential for believing this stuff, you see, because Obama is new to the African world. I mean that in the literal sense of the word. Because he never lived with Africans. He never went to school with Africans. He lived in other places. His understanding of America is the ideal of America that’s been promoted and taught in schools and stuff like that.
"Obama hasn’t shared the African experience like that. Except you know he lived in Chicago. He did some community work, which is different. You can find those people in the Peace Corp. And they used to have the U.S.-based Peace Corp, VISTA, where the white people used to be in your community. They had all these kind of programs. You can do that and work in the African community and I think that’s the kind of experience that he’s had.
"It’s different for Africans who are not born in the United States. I’m coming to learn a lot more about that. I’ve read where the majority of the African students in the Ivy League campuses today are students from Africa, not students from here. And it’s because the students from Africa are easier to manage. Because the students from here, they say, are aggressive. And I didn’t notice that about them. For me they look like something else. But they’re hard to handle, because of the whole direct slavery experience. Africans here ain’t never got enough, while Africans who are coming from home got the best s**t they ever had, because they’re coming from terrible circumstances to what appears to be great circumstances over here. So they’re easier to get along with, than the Africans who are here.
"They come here. They’ve read all the stuff about America and they found 'oh, it’s true'. You know, they can go to the movies all the time. They can do all other kinds of things that they could never do at home. They even got streets that work, where in most places in Africa you got dirt roads, and sometimes it’s an overstatement to call them roads. They’re like a row of ditches that you have to travel through. I’ve learned while I was in Ghana on this last trip what an automobile can withstand. I never would have imagined that an automobile could handle the kind of stuff that I saw in Ghana.
"So they get here and for them this is a whole different thing. Africans who were born here, coming from the slavery experience, etc., are still fighting. So I can see how Obama might actually be an honest opportunist. But in any event, he doesn’t offer a solution. And I think that we have to really help African people to grapple with this question, because people can be disarmed. At a time when the masses need clarity more than any time, people can be sucked into this whole thing of the Democratic Party. At a time of crisis when people need to be finding alternatives to Americanism, to be sucked into the embrace of the Democratic Party is seriously problematic."

Congrats Halle Berry!

Too bad Barack couldn't keep his pastor's sermons under the radar til after he got in office. I hope and pray this doesn't scare white folks away and they keep votin for him. Barack did what he had to do by publicly denouncing Wright. But the truth is the truth. Barack is probably more of a rider than he is leading america to believe. Hopefully, the skeptical black folks will finally realize who they should be and should have been supporting to begin with.

GOOOOOOOOODDDDDDD MOOOOOORRRRNNNNNIINNNNNNNGGGGGGG AHH FAMILY (in my best Tye from Extreme Home IMprovement show)!!!!!!

Glad to see that people made it back on the boards for another monday and it looks like Illseed is staring to get in on the fun - lol

First, off let me just say CONGRATS to Halle and Gabriel (eventhough they haven't been seen together that much)!!!!!!!! i'm sure the baby is friggin' adorable.

WHy is it that when people are looking for publicity they magnify the dumbest s***. for example, the Fat Joe and Papoose situation (i could care less about either of them and a stupid beef. 50 pimped and pawned both of them, so they both got played - lol)

LIl' Wayne is just spoiled . he seems like he's a whiner and thats not a good look for a man!!!!!!!!!

I pray that everyones weekend was awesome. I had a beautiful weekend and now i'm here waiting for the New Governor, Mr. "First Black" Patterson. This should be interesting (i guess we have to wait a few months before we hear of his "Extracurricular Activities" - lol

Other than that, I got work to do (for real this time). I'll be back lunch time!!!!!!!!!

SHOUTS OUTS TO EVERYONE IN THE FAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

PEACE,
PANTHER :-)

RIGHT BACK AT YA BABY, WHAT IT DO????

I FORGOT TO SEND A HUGE 22-STR8 WINS CONGRATS TO HOUSTON. H-TOWN DID THE DAMN THANG ON KOBE THIS WEEKEND - LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH AND DID ANYONE CATCH THE GAME BETWEEN THE NUGGETS AND THE SONICS. HOW THE HELL THEY GET 168 POINTS??? THAT'S CRAZY AS HELL. CONGRATS TO THEM ALSO FOR DOING THE DAMN THANG.

SO LAST NIGHT ME AND MY BABY WAS TALKING, AND WE FOUND IT QUITE AMAZING THAT THE NUGGETS WITH A 40 (something) winning record, is having  hard time making it to the playoffs on the West. But on the Eat Coast. The HAWKS are going to damn near get in with a 28-39 record. But regardless of any of that the Celtics are really doing the damn thang 52 wins under they belt, shoot the Heat got 54 losses under they belt. This year was definitely unpredictable. I can’t wait for the playoffs to start, it’s anybody’s game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jubilee.shine - i get it!!! im like cornel west tho...we root barack on but as soon as he's in there, we'll be his harshest critic. we know whats going on, for real.
---------------------------------

fo sho illseed i know you on it.  i think its good tho to jam the hype here & there with a reality check...

hp- that wasnt from amiri.  it was from a more narrow nationalist "Uhuru" organization.  i'll put up the link later.  but the basic criticisms are valid & important to the discussion.  alot of people may look to obama as having solutions to our problems.  many had hoped the clintons would have answers...

bossup- its essential to vote obama, under the conditions, or to vote clinton if thats the choice against mccain.  but obama is an agent of the Democratic Party, which is anti-democratic & an instrument of corporate dictatorship.  it cannot be reformed, altho we must exploit every contradiction in it, seize every last bit of concession we can, but at all times be clear to the people that this is not a solution but a tactic.

this is the important thing.  the people must not be allowed to think that the vote for obama is an encouragement to have confidence in his organization, or program (WHAT IS IT ANYWAY?)

we must build an independent political party that represents the interests of the democratic masses of working & exploited people, from the grassroots up, from the cities out.  nobody is going to resolve the u.s.' crisis for us.  working people & forward thinking progressives & revolutionaries must make it happen.

amiri quote dubois who say we have the 'sisyphus syndrome'.  we roll the rock up the hill & the corporations roll it back on our heads...  we need organization & power.

one up-
