LL is not a Jay-Z fan. Not at least like some of us. He’s got some stuff to say about the instant million that Jay-Z brokered through his deal with Samsung. Basically, he’s saying to him personally it matters that a million humans bought his music, not a company. Peep the quotes or watch the video from Diddy’s REVOLT TV.
“Numbers are Numbers. In the numbers is truth, but in terms of touching the people it’s a little different. For me as an artist I still want to be able to touch the people individually.”
“It still matters to me that people individually went out and bought my record. Although I still think a million sold is a million sold, but for me I like to know that a million PEOPLE bought my record, not a company bought a million copies of my record.”
In his new video, “Picasso Baby,” Jay really did reach out an touch the people. I’m just saying.
Nevertheless, LL’s new album, Authentic is just as good as Jay-Z’s in my opinion. Jay just has a better team pushing his project. LL also rocked half of America with the Kings of the Mic tour, so lets not just call him a hater.
