(AllHipHop News) The relationship between the Grammy Awards and rap music has been a complicated one. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences has been reluctant to acknowledge some of the artists and works of the genre, so YMCMB rapper Drake decided to give out his own version of the award known as the “Hood Grammys.”

Drizzy posted pictures of golden gramophones to his Instagram page. Each photo’s caption named the act he felt deserved trophies for their contribution to rap music in 2014.
