(AllHipHop News) At the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, Wu-Tang Clan members Raekwon and Ghostface Killah announced they have a new collaborative project on the way. Revolt caught up with Rae and Ghost to discuss the forthcoming The Purple Tape Files film. They revealed the doc is still in its early stages and a crowd funding campaign will help pay for the movie to be made.

“We’re still in work mode. The main thing was really to just let people know that it’s happening, get the buzz going. It was more like a respectful invasion of Sundance to be able to let them know not only are we coming, but we respect the filmmakers,” said Raekwon. “Filmmakers are artists too and the music side hasn’t fully connected with the film side. But when you really look at it, it’s the same s**t. Why do you think we say, ‘We’re making movies’?”

“It ain’t just a doc,” added Ghostface.
