(AllHipHop News) When Drake’s VIEWS landed last week, the early predictions were that the set could sell over 1 million copies in its first week. After a few more days of release, it now appears Drizzy will just miss joining Eminem, 50 Cent, and Lil Wayne on the list of rappers to cross a milli in sales in seven days.

According to HitsDailyDouble, VIEWS is now predicted to move 850,000 – 900,000 in actual sales. Streaming numbers added in could push the equivalent album units total to over 1 million.
That would be enough to give the collection the highest first week sales and sale plus streaming totals of 2016, and the Toronto performer would earn the best sales week of his career. Drake achieved his previous highest week with 2013’s Nothing Was The Same which debuted with 658,000 copies sold.
Drake’s fourth studio LP came out really strong with sales on iTunes and streaming on Apple Music. VIEWS moved over 630,000 equivalent album units in its first day of release.
