Alexandra Shipp (Aaliyah, Straight Outta Compton) stars as Storm in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. The 24-year-old actress spoke with The Lowdown with Diana Madison about the possibility of Ororo and T’Challa teaming up in a cinema presentation.

“I want that movie so bad. I’ve got a pitch. I’m like coming up with a vision board. I want this movie to happen,” said Shipp. “Honestly, it doesn’t have to be me. If Chadwick was like, ‘You know what I really want to do this with Hallie,’ I’d be like, ‘That’s fine at least make the movie.’”

Chadwick Boseman was tapped to take on the role of Black Panther in the Marvel franchise. Halle Berry has played Storm in X-Men, X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand, and X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

X-Men: Apocalypse is scheduled for release on May 27.
