Eminem Gives Buffalo Rappers Westside Gunn and Conway A Lucrative Label Deal

EMINEM SIGNS BUFFALO RAPPERS WESTSIDE GUNN AND CONWAY

(AllHipHop News) Eminem has inked a deal with a Buffalo-based hip-hop label, to release solo projects from two new rising rappers.

Shady Records has gone into business with Griselda Records, for their artists Westside Gunn and Conway.

The two brothers started their careers in the early 2000’s, with Westside Gunn gaining a rep as one of the best rappers in Buffalo, while his sibling Conway acted as his manager in addition to starting the Griselda Records imprint to showcase both of their musical releases.

Since 2014, the brothers have gained momentum through independently released mixtapes, working with artists like The Alchemist, Stalley, Smoke DZA and others.

They have established a cult following around the world for their records, in addition to the merchandise, Griselda Records sells.

“The style and energy of Griselda Records, Gunn and Conway are infectious. We can’t wait to put them on the platform they have earned and deserve,” Eminem told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (March 3).

In addition to records by Westside Gunn and Conway, the group also records together as Hall N’ Nash, in tribute to the famed WWE wrestlers Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.

The brothers finished a new project with The Alchemist, and will also release an album under the Hall N’ Nash name, via their deal with Shady Records.
