(AllHipHop News) Will the world ever get that rumored J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar joint project?

As Hip Hop devotees patiently wait for that potential blockbuster, Kendrick gifted his Detroit fans with a surprise appearance from his “Forbidden Fruit” collaborator.

The audience for the “DAMN Tour” at the Palace of Auburn Hills got to witness Cole perform “Deja Vu” and “No Role Modelz.”

While in the Motor City, the North Carolina native connected with rap veteran Royce Da 5’9″ as well.

The Slaughterhouse member uploaded a photo of the 4 Your Eyez Only album creator in the studio.

A caption for the picture simply reads, “Cole.”
