Trey Songz recently landed his second No. 1 album on the Billboard chart, selling over 100,000 copies the first week. During a recent interview on “The Russ Parr Morning Show” the R&B crooner recently talked about what grabs fans attention enough to buy an album, his in particular. He shared his thoughts about his journey and why he thinks Trigga was a success. He stated that he believed your most valuable possession as an artist is the connection one has with their fans. He said fans don’t want to buy into anything that’s not going to be an experience. “Fans want to buy into something they can love and cherish,” said Songz. He also stated that this album was the most cohesive body of work for him because for the first time it was a full story all the way through.
