Earlier this week, T-Pain, Dorrough and Young Cash held a video shoot at Jonesboro High School in Atlanta for “I’m A Champion,” the first single from the FULL COURT PRESS, Vol 1 album.
T-Pain was spotted shooting his performance shots in the schools gymnasium sporting a red t-shirt, jeans and Retro Jordans, along with an iced out NB chain. The rapper/singer showed off a few basketball tricks for the video and was overheard showing his support for the upcoming album and praising the songs positive message.
The hard hitting cut “I’m A Champion” also features an appearance by basketball star, Shawn Marion, who will shoot his portion of the video soon. CEO of Full Court Press Records/creator of “Full Court Press Vol. 1” Shannon “Slam” Ridley and record label executive Joseph Charles were on set, alongside director Randy Marshall & G Visuals.
FULL COURT PRESS Vol. 1 features 10 brand new tracks including “Welcome to NY” with Iman Shumpert & Ma$e,“Winning Streak” with Twista, Willie Taylor & Carlos B#####, “Go Hard” featuring Bun B & Stephen Jackson, “We Hoopin’ (Yeah Boy)” with Charlie Villanueva & Royce Da 5’9 , “Bang ‘em Down Low” featuring Soulja Boy, Glen “Big Baby” Davis and Maurice ‘MoPete’ Peterson, “Airtime”featuring Future, Sean Garrett, Rocko & Lou Williams and much more to be announced soon. The album will be released later this year in collaboration with The Cherry Party, a newly formed record label in joint venture with Sony Music. Full Court Press has also partnered with the ‘nPlay Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to win the fight against childhood obesity, to host play events in selects schools across the country.
