Cardi B’s Baby Is Making Her Hungry – For Success

(AllHipHop News) Cardi B believes her baby has made her even more “hungry to succeed.”

The rapper confirmed she and her Migos fiance Offset are set to start a family together when she showcased her burgeoning bump during a performance on “Saturday Night Live” last weekend.

As she continued on the promo trail for her debut album Invasion of Privacy, Cardi co-hosted “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday night and was asked by host Jimmy how she’s managed to stay so active throughout her pregnancy.

“I don’t know if it’s the strength of the fetus, but I have never felt so hungry to succeed,” she said, leading to a huge cheer from the audience.

Cardi waited until quite late in her pregnancy to go public with the news – despite months of rumors.

And she added to Jimmy that she would have kept it a secret up until she gave birth if it was up to her.

“I never really wanted to reveal that I had a baby,” she mused. “I just wanted to hide it. I could have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for the meddling paparazzi because I was just scared of what people would think and say. I was just freaking out.

“(But then) It was like, ‘Well, why not? Why not present it in a beautiful, clean way?’ And then, Saturday Night Live, it’s like, why not?”

Jimmy also fueled rumors that Cardi is expecting a baby girl as he presented her with a hamper of goodies, including a child-sized fur coat and a bedazzled baby bottle.

Cardi also performed her new single Money Bag for the first time on TV.

The 25-year-old donned a skintight latex bodysuit and black fishnet tights for the performance, which saw her accompanied by The Roots.

By: Rico Panacea (@RicoPanacea)

(AllHipHop Rumors) Swae Lee is a bonafide popstar and member of the rap duo Rae Sremmurd. He’s been captivating hearts across the country since the group’s ascension into the mainstream.

A large part of the group’s success is creating to the rapper’s melodic melodies. While mostly working alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi, Swae Lee also scored a hit record with French Montana in 2017.

“Unforgettable” was a smash crossover record for Montana as Swae Lee graced the hook. So it’s easy to see why younger women would be into the rising pop sensation.

The fawning over the Mississippi born musician has gotten so crazy that even his girlfriend is gaining media attention. Well according to her, she’s his girlfriend, but Swae Lee recently did an interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood and said he’s just having fun.

However, that brings us back to the latest Swae Lee rumor.

Recently his last known girlfriend and her friends jumped a woman said to be Swae Lee’s side piece. Apparently, this is the third of multiple fights between the two women and this one ended with a purse being stolen.

The purse is said to originally have been a gift for Swae’s girlfriend that he took back after their split and gave to the other woman.

(AllHipHop News) A former member of Drake’s inner circle is heading to prison.

The Toronto-born rapper’s former manager Derrick Lawrence was hit with an eight-month sentence in prison, for failing to pay his taxes.

The IRS claimed Lawrence, who is the co-founder of the Aspire Music Group, which originally signed Drake, dodged over $2 million dollars in income he earned from the years 2009 to 2011.

Derrick Lawrence placed the blame for his financial issues on his former accountants.

By: Rico Panacea (@RicoPanacea)

(AllHipHop Rumors) Beyonce and Jay-Z are reportedly turning their mansion into a fortress.

The newly purchased home is housed on two acres of land in the California hills. It also has six different structures located on the property as part of the estate.

Gucci Mane and T.I. Clash Over Who Created Trap Music

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uE__dj_3-TU

(AllHipHop Rumors) I always thought it was pretty much common wisdom that T.I. created the sub-genre of Hip-Hop called Trap Music – or Muzik, as he stylized. But then Gucci Mane came with this the other day.

https://instagram.com/p/BhPaya8hZSi/

I ignored it because it was almost silly. Tip didn’t ignore it. He even seemed to be angry at his ATL counterpart for even THINKING HE CREATED IT!

T.I. said:

Ok,so…. AGAIN for the slow ones in the back…
August 19th,2003
Birth of Trap Muzik &
Only fools dispute facts!!! FOH wit that Christopher Columbus ass…
*“Look what I discovered, even though they was already here ass sh*t!!!!”
WITCHO GOOD CAPPIN ASS*

https://instagram.com/p/BhW_vZGBcP9/

Honestly, I am not sure what this says – LOL! Is “GOOD CAPPIN ASS” a compliment? I know Gucci killed somebody once and that would make him a good capper. Anyway, Tip never @’d Gucci or anything, but we all see what’s going on here!

Now, some are arguing that the Trap “sound” is something that people like Gucci and Jeezy made popular. The term “trap” definitely came before Tip, but Tip added “music” to the end and therefore made it a “thing.” I need to go watch the BBC or MSNBC. Lol….

Why Tip say “the slow ones” though?

Richard Pryor’s Ex-Wife Says It’s “Wishful Thinking” That Comedian Wasn’t Gay

By Ne’ Richa (@iAmNeRicha)

(AllHipHop Rumors) Rain Pryor is NOT here for Hollywood’s recent obsession with her late father Richard Pryor’s sexual history.

She took to her Facebook page to air her grievances for all the rumors floating around about her father’s bisexual tendencies.

This directly contrasts with what Jennifer Pryor, Richard’s ex-wife, proclaimed about her late husband’s promiscuities. Rain states, “Why this sudden need to drag Daddy through the Hollywood mud? I find it tasteless and infuriating.”

Rain points out that there were never any trysts between her father and Marlon Brando, but Jennifer Pryor’s diary receipts beg to differ.

All in all, no one really knows Richard’s true history, but if his diary excerpts prove anything…it proves that he may have done more than what his daughter would like to think.

It should be noted that the introduction to the Pryor book, “Pryor Convictions and Other Life Sentences,” will be written by Tiffany Haddish. She was mentored by Pryor, and may even be able to shed a little more light on the private side of Pryor.

In addition to cashing checks for the Pryor book, Haddish stands to see a good coin for her new HBO series, “Unsubscribed,” which is going to delve into the background look of the Instagram hustle for pretty girls with a good filter.

2018 is clearly the year exposing the unexposed!

Meek Mill Freed From Jail: In New Music Video

(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill is seen being freed from jail in the new music video for his track “1942 Flows.”

The “Dreams and Nightmares” hitmaker is currently behind bars, after being sentenced to serve two to four years in prison in November of 2017 for violating the terms of his probation relating to a 2008 firearms case.

But his incarcerated state isn’t preventing Mill from releasing new videos, as he dropped the visual for the track, taken from his 2017 album Wins and Losses, on Monday.

In the footage, Mill is seen walking out of prison, where he is met by a group of reporters who ask him what it feels like to be free.

“I feel like a free slave, you know?” he responds. “I feel like I’ve been targeted by certain people. Just being out on the streets and knowing somebody can take your freedom at any time; you got cops, you see they charged me up on felonies. They seen me riding a bike, that kind of says it all.”

The video also shows clips of Mill’s most devoted fans at the Free Meek Mill rally which took place in Philadelphia last year.

Mill’s fans and the rapper himself have been challenging the controversial ruling by Judge Genece Brinkley ever since it happened.

However, last week the rapper was once again denied bail – despite his lawyers appealing to Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court officials following reports suggesting the arresting officer in Mill’s original 2008 case had been named as part of a police corruption scandal in Philadelphia, and had been accused of lying under oath to put the MC behind bars.

Prosecutors cited the “strong showing of likelihood” that Mill’s old conviction will be reversed in court paperwork while explaining their decision, but Judge Brinkley, who Mill’s lawyers have been trying to have removed from the case, was not swayed by their arguments and denied bail.

Mill’s lawyers are still appealing to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to have him released.

AR-AB Shares His Thoughts On Meek Mill And Philadelphia’s “Crooked” Cops

(AllHipHop News) Philadelphia’s law enforcement took a big blow to its credibility when reports emerged that the District Attorney’s Office secretly compiled a list of police officers that had a history of lying in court, racial bias, brutality, or abuse of power. The cop that originally arrested Meek Mill in 2007 was included on that list.

The exposé by The Philadelphia Inquirer could help Meek see his probation violation overturned and get released from prison. Fellow Philadelphia rapper AR-AB has also dealt with experiencing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s correctional institutions.

“I’m glad all this sh-t is coming to the light. These cops in Philly been crooked,” AR-AB told Report Card Radio. “I went to jail several times and sat in jail for things I didn’t do. I’ve watched ten, twenty, thirty people get railroaded how they railroaded Meek Mill.”

The Protocol Vol. 4 mixtape creator added, “That’s what it took – for it to happen to a celebrity – so motherf-ckers could see. Now the whole world’s eye is on Philadelphia’s judicial system. Everybody’s watching now.”

AR-AB also suggested that even though it’s “f-cked up” what happened to Meek, the revelations in his case could be the catalyst for change in the city. He stated, “Maybe his situation could save a lot of people. They can’t do us like that no more.”

Cardi B Addresses Ghostwriting Rumors From Hit Song “Be Careful”

(AllHipHop News) Just days before Cardi B released her debut studio album Invasion Of Privacy, the breakout rap star was hit with ghostwriting rumors. An old video of Pardison Fontaine circulated across the internet which featured him spitting lines that eventually ended up in Cardi’s “Be Careful” single.

Now that Invasion Of Privacy is out, the rapstress is making the media rounds. In a recent interview, Cardi was asked about Fontaine’s involvement in penning her bars.

“I write some stuff. I do certain things. [Pardison] is my mentor,” explained the Atlantic recording artist to Hot 97. “He would tell me, ‘This sounds wack. I think you should change this. I think you should change that. That wordplay is not popping. I’m sorry. I’m telling you right now, that don’t even make sense.’”

Cardi continued, “I got my own vocabulary. I talk a certain type of way, that to me it makes sense, but to some people, it just wouldn’t make sense.”

It’s clear Fontaine has participated in crafting records with Cardi. Technically, Fontaine is still not a “ghostwriter” because his name appears in the credits for “Be Careful” and other songs like “Bodak Yellow.”

“A lot of people wanted to eat me up like, ‘You have a ghostwriter.’ First of all, no, I always shouted him out. I always give him credit. I even gave him a big shout out on iHeartRadio because I feel like he’s a big part of my music,” said Cardi. “He’s one of my friends. Why not make my people some money?”

According to the native New Yorker, Atlantic signed Pardison Fontaine after taking notice of his work ethic. The sit-down with Hot 97 also included Cardi B talking about her debut LP, her pregnancy, and other topics.

Tekashi69 Prepares For Possible Jail, And 6ix9ine Wants To Quit Rap

(AllHipHop Rumors) 6ix9ine keeps us talking. I am sorry about that at times, because it seems like he is so hated. Well, there are a number of reasons for that, but we don’t need to re-hash it all, right? Let us continue. The dude seems to be getting himself together, and he has a very good reason. Tekashi is facing about 3 years in jail if he doesn’t fulfill a bunch of stuff that the judge in New York told him he needed to do to stay out of the bing.

What is funny about this interview is that DJ AK calls him a bunch of stuff in this video. Its almost like dissing him, but you can tell he’s probably trying to fight off those gay rumors that swirl around them like blunt smoke in a weed spot. In the video, you can see Tekashi studying really hard for his GED, which is a requirement to keep him out of jail. I ain’t gonna lie…if you go to the end of the video, he does not seem like the smartest guy. That’s REAL. Watch it.

In other news, a lot of you may get your wish: Tekashi69 say he may quit rap this year! We all know this is a bunch of bull, but we have to cover it! On IG, he said: “Waiting for someone to rob me. .. Ima quit rapping this year. I accomplished everything i dreamed of in 5 months.” Now, if he wants to get robbed, I know some people that can make that happen.

(AllHipHop News) A concert featuring Webbie in Columbus, Ohio ended in gunfire.

The rap star was performing in the city when shots ring out around 2:00 AM, yesterday morning (April 8).

One man was struck in the arm, and transported to a nearby hospital where he was admitted in stable condition.

“That’s how it go, ask any real street n#### that know. Any ni##a that done popped a n####, that got popped or know a ni##a that got killed…ni##a when the gunshots go off, get low ni##a . Especially if you aint got nothing to do with that s##t.”

Webbie also took the time to send some good wishes to the fan who was shot at his concert.

Police are currently investigating the incident, but it could have to do with a local disgruntled rapper.
