(AllHipHop News) The social media collective known as “Black Twitter” is part of the reason shows like Love & Hip Hop become regular trending topics on the platform. However, one cast member from the Miami edition of the reality show has an issue with some of the African-Americans that congregate on the app.

“As the black community, the urban community, we don’t really uplift one another. We’re like crabs in a barrel. We tear each other down,” Christopher “Prince” Michael Harty told TMZ. “You never heard of Spanish Twitter. You never heard of White Twitter. But you damn sure heard of Black Twitter. What do they do? They roast people. They bring them down.”

While Black Twitter is known for cracking jokes on celebrities and other public situations, the digital ecosystem has also been responsible for publicizing social issues such as #BlackLivesMatter, #OscarsSoWhite, #BringBackOurGirls, #IStandWithKap, and #BlackOnCampus. It is currently Black History Month, and Black Twitter has spent the last few weeks honoring historic black figures as well as celebrating the release of Black Panther.

Also, there are other Twitter users with similar interests that converge under one heading. For example, NBA Twitter, Anime Twitter, Fashion Twitter, MAGA Twitter, and LGBT Twitter are all identified on the site. When asked if there shouldn’t be a Black Twitter, Prince replied, “No, because it’s entertaining.”

(AllHipHop News) Yesterday, Blac Chyna was a day-long trending topic on social media following clips of the reality show star engaging in oral sex with an unknown man made its way to the internet. Lisa Bloom, Chyna’s lawyer, tweeted about the incident.

“Revenge p### — posting explicit images without the consent of everyone in those images — is a crime, a civil wrong, and a form of domestic abuse,” wrote Bloom. “Girls have killed themselves over revenge p###. It’s not a joke.”

Walter Mosley, another attorney representing Blac Chyna, posted a message on Instagram. He wrote:

We have to change this culture of abuse and assault against women. Today’s post saddens me deeply as it is an attack not only against my client but my friend. Why do we think it’s acceptable to sell, or publish, or seek revenge, or blackmail women in this way and without their consent? It’s not. Men … we have to do better. I’m tired of telling my clients to not make videos because the men will put them out later. (AllHipHop News) A new restaurant chain backed by Jay-Z has opened its first location in New Jersey.

In 2010, Jay helped his cousin Jamar White and his business partner Ronald Lee launch a wing spot called Buffalo Boss in Brooklyn.

Since then, the pair has launched Buffalo Boss locations in Harlem and inside the Barclays Center.

Later this week, the first New Jersey location will open on February 22 in the Newport Centre Mall’s dining pavilion in Jersey City.

According to White, just having Jay-Z associated with the business has helped increase the sales over 60%.

The Buffalo Boss menu includes 12 “addictive” sauces, fresh salads, chicken and vegetarian wraps, sweet potato fries, fried Oreos, and Pop-tarts.

Britain’s The Sun newspaper reports the top-secret inking session took place during a romantic date night, days after their baby daughter was born.

“They went to a tattoo artist and got secret matching tattoo tributes to their daughter. They haven’t told people what they got. Kylie organized it as a surprise and Travis loved it,” the source said

The news comes after Kylie’s ex Tyga broke his silence on the baby’s arrival.

On January 30th, the rapper announced he was launching a protest of Angola Prison’s conditions and the treatment of its prisoners. After three weeks, reps for CMurder said the prison has taken the rapper out of the hole (solitary confinement) and he views the hunger strike as a success.

“I’m good, inmates are good, just continue to check on your love ones here at Angola,” CMurder told AllHipHop.com. “I wanna thank everyone who checked on me and things are moving right along.”

Master P issued a statement as well, after taking a visit to Angola to visit his younger brother, who also recorded as TRU along with their sibling Silkk The Shocker in the group TRU.

The news of CMurder ending his hunger strike comes on the heels of a violent incident last week, which underscores the dangers of Angola for the correctional officers and the prisoners.

Last Monday (February 12th), an inmate named Jessie Grace assaulted his cellmate Gamarus Everett, leaving him dead.

Like CMurder, both men were serving life sentence’s for homicide and now inmate Jessie Grace could be facing criminal charges for his role in the beating.

As for CMurder, born Corey Miller, the rapper has vowed to continue his fight to overturn his conviction and life sentence for the 2002 murder of Steven Thomas inside of a now-defunct Jefferson Parish nightclub.

A female fan is seen in the video trying to get a shot of her with the rapper on Bourbon Street in the Louisiana city.

Flame, real name Juaquin James Malphurs, is then seen pulling her from oncoming traffic as a cab approaches.

Passers-by and fans surrounding the rapper all scream as the woman is nearly hit, however, the fan barely lifts her head from her phone in the clip.

She later tweeted the rapper on social media and thanked him for saving her life.

“Met @WakaFlocka last night at madi gras (sic)… after this video he saved my life, almost got hit by car yall,” the unnamed fan captioned a short clip of her walking beside Flame, shortly before he pulled her to safety.

“Na frfr (for real, for real) be safe Lil lady,” he replied on Twitter.

(AllHipHop News) A lawyer for Meek Mill has blasted the “mind-blowing” allegations that a policeman involved in his case reportedly lied under oath to put the rapper behind bars.

Mill, real name Robert Williams, was sentenced to two-to-four years behind bars in November, for violating his probation relating to a 2008 drug and gun bust.

And on Wednesday, former Philadelphia police officer Jerold Gibson accused one of his ex-colleagues of lying under oath. According to Philly.com, Gibson filed a sworn statement disputing the claims of Mill’s arresting officer in 2007, Reggie Graham.

Graham was the only witness to testify against the rapper during the 2008 trial.

Gibson accused Graham of falsely accusing Mills of pointing a gun at police as they tried to arrest him outside of a suspect drug stash house, according to the report.

In the wake of Gibson’s sworn statement, Mill’s legal team have blasted the revelations, and have started a new push to get the rapper released.

“It’s mind-blowing, but it’s also just par for the course in this case,” attorney Joe Tacopina told Billboard. “It really is for this case. It’s over the top. It’s insane.”

“The guilty verdicts were expressly based on the court crediting Officer Graham’s testimony,” one of Mill’s legal team, lawyer Peter Goldberger, wrote to the judge in a motion filed Wednesday. “Without Graham’s testimony, (he) could not have been convicted on any count.”

Meek is set to go before Judge Genece Brinkley on April 16, with his team hoping he’ll have his prison sentence overturned.

Earlier this week, the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper revealed a list of police officers who had a documented history of lying, racial bias, cruelty, or abuse of power, including Graham.

When Benzino, born Raymond Scott reportedly refused to leave the house, Althea struck the rapper in the head.

Althea, who starred in “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” with her husband, was arrested for misdemeanor battery and was sent to jail on $20,000 bail.

She was released earlier today (February 19th).

(AllHipHop News) A Los Angeles album release party for rapper Nipsey Hussle ended in chaos on over the weekend, after shots were fired, hitting one person in the leg.

The hip-hop star had been celebrating the launch of Victory Lap at the World on Wheels roller skating rink, which he became the owner of last summer when a weapon was fired in the parking lot, sending people inside running for cover.

Police rushed to the scene of the incident in Venice, but the gunman had already escaped and the shooter’s victim, who was struck in the thigh, refused to co-operate with cops.

It’s not clear if Nipsey had already left World on Wheels by the time of the shooting, but authorities were unable to locate him on the premises as they investigated the crime.

His party wasn’t the only event on Saturday to be interrupted by a gun-related scare – fellow rapper Rich the Kid had his performance at Hollywood nightclub Lure derailed after police received reports of a man brandishing a firearm in the parking lot.

Armed cops descended on the area, ordering people to step out of their cars as they searched for the suspect, who was not found.

Rich the Kid’s club gig was held as part of the NBA All-Star Weekend celebrations, which took place in Los Angeles this year.
