VIDEO: The Must-See Craig Mack Documentary!

(AllHipHop Features) There is renewed interest in one Craig Mack, one of the pillars of the Bad Boy Empire. The New York rapper is truly one of the unheralded artists of the 1990’s. Mack was one of Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs’s prized artists at one point, but soon The Notorious B.I.G. would emerge as the singular most important artist on the label. Or was he? Some could argue Craig Mack did that with Flava In Ya Ear and the subsequent remix that revamped everybody’s career.

But, the story of Craig Mack goes much deeper. A documentary has been floating online for quite some time. I have watched it in its entirety and its good, in my opinion. It does a good job of telling the truth in an objective manner. It is important to note that Erick Sermon, who knew and worked closely with Craig Mack, is working on an official doc on Craig Mack that includes the rap star. When that comes, we’ll be supporting it. For now, check this out.

The Rapper That Allegedly Impregnated Bernice Burgos With New Life!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Now that we are here, we should just establish that this isn’t really a new rumor. It IS new to me though. Others are just reporting (like me) that Quavo and the lovely Bernice Burgos are dating! She’s the most beautiful grand mom EVER! However, she is still a dope grand mom and attractive to these rappers. The latest is that she is dating Migos honcho Quavo!

OK that’s not the latest. The latest is that she is allegedly PREGNANT! Quavo is rumored to be a daddy! The word is that Bernice has stopped drinking, smoking and won’t even let people smoke around her. What is funny (or not) is that her 21-year old daughter is also presently pregnant too, per the Celebrity Insider.

The reason we haven’t heard more about Quavo and Bernice is they allegedly took a bit of a break a ways back. She then got into a fling – ALLEGELY – with T.I. Now they are back together again, so they say. Quavo is a mere 26 so that would definitely make Bernice a cougar.

Trey Songz’s Accuser Wants Singer “To Get Help” For Abuse

(AllHipHop News) A woman accusing Trey Songz of assault is demanding a formal apology from the singer.

The ‘Bottoms Up” hitmaker, real name Tremaine Neverson, stands accused of repeatedly punching Andrea Buera at a party in Los Angeles last month, during NBA All-Star Weekend.

Buera, who claims to have been friends and “occasional romantic partners” with Songz for the past three years, obtained a domestic violence restraining order against the musician last week and on Tuesday, she held a press conference with her attorney, Lisa Bloom, to publicly detail the incident for the first time.

During the event, Buera grew emotional as she recalled the alleged attack, claiming Songz hit her so hard she suffered a concussion.

“I was attending an afterparty when Trey began yelling at me, choking at me… and ultimately knocked me to the ground,” she said. “While I was on the ground, he continued punching me and did not stop until his security guard pulled him off me.”

Buera, who had to be hospitalized for her injuries, went on to explain she had called for an Uber car service to pick her up after the altercation but alleges Songz grabbed her two cell phones and threw them off a cliff.

“I was crying, terrified, in shock and I just wanted to go home,” she shared.

Buera insisted there were a number of witnesses who “did nothing” during the reported assault, and now she is calling on them to come forward and help her get justice.

She also shared a message for Songz directly, declaring: “You know what you did, and you know what you did was wrong. To those of you who stood and watched and did nothing, you know what he did was wrong, too.

“Trey, I’d like an apology.”

Maybach Music’s Rain910 Talks About His Deal, New Music And More

(AllHipHop Features) From Fayetteville, North Carolina to New York, starting new chapters has always been a part of Rain910’s life.

At 9 years old, he began writing rhymes. By 13, he was already meeting with major label record companies.

Shortly after dropping out of school to pursue his dreams, he moved to live with his father in New York.

Today, Rain910 is starting his latest chapter, being Maybach Music Group’s newly-signed artist.

Rain910’s biggest ambition is wanting to be remembered as one of the best artists ever. Another one of his goals is “writing one of the greatest albums of all time.” His focus is to “continue making good music on the highest level possible.”

Rain910 discusses the life experiences he has gone through with AllHipHop.com.

https://www.google.com/sorry/index?continue=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l-0-qvWdsY&q=EgQi24toGLfsgvkFIhkA8aeDSw1425mtubJR1yFMIlTi-diWnzfTMgFy

AllHipHop.com: How does a rapper from Fayetteville end up in the game like this? Explain that.

Rain: Man, hard work and dedication. You know what I’m saying? It definitely couldn’t have happened just by sitting here in Fayetteville. We had to take this show on the road.

The whole thing was just not letting them tell us what we can and can’t do and understanding there’s other places in the world that have better opportunities and you can’t be scared to leave your comfort zone and go see what it’s about.

AllHipHop.com: What power moves did you actually make in order for this thing to happen?

Rain: I moved to New York when I was 16. I dropped out of high school and moved to New York. Not to say that’s the thing to do you. I honestly had time, but you know when you’re young, 16 years old and you got talent, you want to rush.

You want to get it right then at the moment. You want to have your Benz and be retired and your big house by the time you’re 22. That was the whole mindset. It was like, “Yo, I just want to get in the game, get in the game.” It didn’t go that way, it took a little more time, and I could have actually finished school.

Nevertheless, it was just like okay, I’m getting up to go get it. I ain’t sitting around.

AllHipHop.com: Walk me through this journey. The first step that you took, you got in the studio or you became a battle rapper or what? What was it?

Rain: It started off with just me rapping. I would be in the streets battling, trying to get my name up, then I realized I got to learn how to make songs. I always kind of knew how to make songs too because the first time I was ever in the studio, I was 13. I made a song. I didn’t go in there and do a bunch freestyle, you know what I’m saying?

https://www.google.com/sorry/index?continue=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mYPF41Gg_c&q=EgQi24toGLjsgvkFIhkA8aeDSxbx919J-TSfuPZjFtTrsMrHJEjDMgFy

It was like my man, he’s a producer and I still work with him to this day. I grew up next to him. I remember I was 13. He’d play this beat and I’m like, “Yo, this is crazy.” That was with my formula. To write the hook first. Then write out the topic, and then fill it in with the verses. It took awhile finishing the work because I was so young, and the s##t I was rapping about, it was what I was seeing in my neighborhood, and it was kind of like, “Whoa, gangster s##t.” At 13, there’s no way to market that.

AllHipHop.com: How do you get the ears of Maybach Music, man?

Rain: Who you know gets you in the game. What you know determines how long you’re going to stay there.

AllHipHop.com: Oh man. That’s incredible man. Basically, is this a management deal or the label deal?

Rain: This is a label, dude. This ain’t no management.

AllHipHop.com: Let’s get into the project, man. Tell me something more about the new project that you’re working on.

Rain: The project I got out right now called, “Who the F##k Are You To Tell Me Anything.” It’s a CD full of instrumentals. Rare instrumentals, though. You know what I’m saying?

AllHipHop.com: Right.

Rain: I wanted to put a project out, but I didn’t want to spend too much time of coming up with the beats and writing the music. It took too long. I had to come up with an idea of being able to make some music that feels like it’s good quality, but without having to spend too much time on it. What I went and did, I went on YouTube and found a bunch of rare beats from some of my favorite producers.

Rain: I’m releasing a new song everyday. I’m calling it 1FanADay. I feel like people respect hard work and consistency so it’s time to show them that no one is outworking me. We still trying to put them pieces together now but for now I’m working on the new self made album.

https://www.google.com/sorry/index?continue=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u44KqsCsrDE&q=EgQi24toGLnsgvkFIhkA8aeDS3coIbF2YA48GJ31UqHK3qu-bxsXMgFy

AllHipHop.com: Any future projects with J. Cole? You all from the same city.

Rain: I won’t be. I won’t be working with J. Cole. He’s somebody I know from back in the day that was coming up. We were both cool, but I feel like there were times where he gave his word on something and couldn’t keep it. I’m really big on that. You know what I’m saying?

I don’t really care about how much money a n##ga got. I don’t think he really respected me in that way. What I can’t accept is people who give their word that they’re going to do something and don’t do it.

AllHipHop.com: Right. What single can we expect from you, and what lane are you going to take in terms of the single too

Rain: Yeah. The same s##t. The same s##t I been doing. For those who familiar, they know I come with the street tales and stories.

AllHipHop.com: Okay.

Rain: And also, I try not to spread it, but it’s always like, first person perspective. I’m not the dude looking out from the outside either. I’ve been through it. And I’m right in the middle of the hurricane. You know what I’m saying?

I know exactly how I’m supposed to talk about this in a very specific … In detail. You know what I’m saying? But we’ve got a joint out right now called, “What Up, Woe!”

AllHipHop.com: Okay. Tell me who influenced Rain910?

Rain: Okay. I’m influenced by the art. You know, music. Living that beat. I look for a lot of ’90’s hip-hop. I also look into like Curtis Mayfield.

It’s like I listen to anything. Everybody inspires me man. Everybody. Even the young dudes. They’re saying the young dudes ain’t putting any words together.

AllHipHop.com: Right. You killed the Hot 97 Freestyle with Flex. You killed it, son.

AllHipHop.com: Definitely man. Yeah man. Anything else you want to say to the audience, man?

Rain: I just want to say, thank you for the big favor and support man. That s##t really be keeping me going and same for the love and out to everybody who ever listened to some music from me or bought a CD or whatever. You know what I’m saying? Or even told somebody about me man. I appreciate all of that. .I know on everything.

AllHipHop.com: Is Rick going to be on the album?

Rain: Hopefully.

AllHipHop.com: Thanks for your time, my brother.

Rain: Thank you now. I appreciate your work.

AllHipHop.com: Yes sir man. God bless.

Trippie Redd and 6ix9ine Involved In Massive Publishing War!

By Rico Panacea (@RicoPanacea)

(AllHipHop Rumors) Trippie Redd and 6ix9ine are two of rap’s hottest up and coming acts. They first began making major waves after doing collaborations with each other, but recently their friendship has hit a snag.

The two musicians have been having verbal and internet exchanges stating their disdain for each other. Most of the interactions involving Trippie stating his dislike of 6ix9ine over his sex charges and 6ix9ine began clowning Trippie for allegedly getting beat up.

Crazy times to be involved in the ever-changing world of hip-hop and rap, I know.

However, the two musicians have still been seeing their streaming numbers and sales increase during all of this.

This has lead to what has been said to be a massive bidding war for publishing rights to material created by both Trippie Redd and 6ix9ine.

Neither artist has yet to sign a publishing deal and the asking price is very, very high due to the success of their chart-topping records.

Trippie Redd’s “A Love Letter To You” album peaked at number 64 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart. The album is also close to reaching 300,000 album units sold as of today.6ix9ine on the other is headed to a Top 5 Billboard chart showing.

Three tracks from his “Day69” project have also already been certified gold.

Most Hated Hoe In LA Facing Serious Jail Charges!

By Rico Panacea (@RicoPanacea)

(AllHipHop Rumors) I’ve heard of a lot of things, but I thought being the “Most Hated Hoe” was a hood anomaly.

Honestly, I thought it was a fictitious title created based off of a feeling. The times have been forever changing and I have once again been proven to be wrong.

Recently an LA woman claiming to be the “Most Hated Hoe” was arrested on some serious charges.

The woman, Melanie Denae Williams, was known as “Pretty Hoe” on social media. Surprisingly, the title seems to be a serious claim as she was arrested on sex trafficking charges.

Williams is accused of trafficking young girls and forcing them into sex work. One allegation accuses her of forcing one woman to strip she beat her with a broomstick and threw bleach at her.

She has been indicted on five counts including two counts of sex trafficking a minor, two counts of enticement of a minor to engage in prostitution, and one count of sex trafficking an adult by force, fraud, or coercion.

Melanie Williams could face a life sentence if found guilty of any of the charges. It’s said that Williams used social media and her website “Prettyhoe.com” to recruit victims.

She has been in police custody and jailed without bond.

Meek Mill’s Mother Pleads With Authorities To Help Free Son

(AllHipHop News) The mother of jailed rapper Meek Mill has begged Philadelphia’s District Attorney to help free her son.

Meek, real name Robert Rihmeek Williams, was controversially jailed in Pennsylvania for two to four years last summer for probation violations relating to a decade old firearms case.

The 30-year-old’s sentence has been heavily criticized by Meek’s supporters, who include fellow rapper Jay-Z.

Ahead of a criminal justice panel at the University of Pennsylvania’s Irvine Auditorium in Philadelphia on Tuesday his mother Kathy Williams held a news conference calling for her son to be freed, and asked the city’s District Attorney (D.A.) Larry Krasner to intervene in his case.

“I’m begging the D.A. Krasner,” a tearful Kathy told the Philadelphia Inquirer at the press event. “Can you please help me out?”

Meek’s lawyers have appealed against the harsh punishment claiming Genece Brinkley, the judge who handed him the sentence, was biased against him.

The “Ima Boss” rapper’s representatives have previously called on the D.A. to intervene, but it is the first time the hip-hop star’s mother has spoken out about her son’s case.

Kathy joined those who have slammed Judge Brinkley for her decision to jail her son, saying, “I don’t even understand how he’s been on probation for that many years. It’s like he murdered somebody. He has to beg to see his son. What kind of woman does that? Is she a mother? Do she have a mother?”

Meek has spent a decade on probation for the firearm offense as it was extended in 2013 for earlier violations.

He was jailed after pleading guilty to two offenses, fighting at St. Louis International Airport in Missouri, and recklessly driving his motorcycle in New York City.

The sentence came as a surprise to many observers, as prosecutors had recommended he be spared a prison term.

21 Savage Starts “Bank Account” Financial Literacy Campaign For Teens

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EEiOF6hi1Q&feature=youtu.be

(AllHipHop News) 21 Savage is looking to help teach teenagers about money management. The Epic Records artist connected with Get Schooled to present the “Bank Account” initiative.

“My biggest record to date is called ‘Bank Account.’ It’s ironic because growing up in Atlanta, I knew almost nothing about bank accounts,” said 21. “Now that I do have money in my bank account, I want to help kids with a background similar to mine to get smart about their money.”

The campaign features a digital badge and Savages’ money tips for aspiring moguls. Twenty-one young people between the ages of 14-19 will get the chance to receive $1,000 from the rapper’s Leading by Example Foundation in order to start their own bank account.

“Members of the Get Schooled community who have graduated from high school consistently tell us that money issues are the #1 reason why their aspirations to earn a college degree derail,” said Marie Groark, Executive Director of Get Schooled. “We are excited to partner with 21 Savage, whose authentic voice on this issue along with his incredible reach can have a meaningful impact on tens of thousands of young people.”

Interested participants can enter for the opportunity to earn a bank account and $1,000 deposit by completing the 21 Savage/Get Schooled badge and answering one of two prompts:

  • Having a clear picture of where you are and where you want to be financially can help you establish financial goals. How would winning $1K help you make progress on your financial goals?
  • Financial freedom doesn’t just happen; you have to plan for it. How would you use an investment of $50,000 to fund your future?

The “21 Savage Bank Account” badge centers around educating teens on managing their money, building their savings, and spending responsibly. Upon completion, the young people will be eligible to cash in points for items from the Get Schooled reward store.

The badge includes:

  • 21 Savages’ 10 money tips for young moguls – 21 Savage’s best money management tips
  • What’s up with all these banking fees – break down of the kinds of fees banks charge and how to avoid them

Rapper T.I. Pays $1.4 Million In Taxes But Owes Millions More

(AllHipHop News) Rapper T.I. has reportedly settled his $1.4 million tax debt.

The hip-hop star, real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris owed back taxes from income they earned in 2012, but according to reports, the lien was paid off earlier this month.

Tiny is reportedly now free of tax debt, but T.I. still owes $3.2 million for 2013 earnings and $1.6 million for 2014.

In January, the rapper reportedly dropped his bid to block the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) from seizing his assets to pay his tax debts.

He owed a total of $6.2 million in back taxes and government officials informed him they would begin seizing his assets to pay off his debts.

T.I. and Tiny filed documents requesting a review of the IRS decision, but their motions were dismissed because they missed the filing deadline.

The couple appealed the dismissal, blaming a delivery service for the delay, but T.I. and Tiny then filed to dismiss their appeal because they were in discussions with IRS lawyers.

The case was subsequently closed but the debts remained active.

Tameka, 42, and T.I., 37, have been through turbulent times in recent years – the Xscape singer filed for divorce in 2016.

They have since reconciled and in January, Tameka confirmed they were “working at” their relationship.

R. Kelly’s Sexual Assault Accuser Takes Issue With The #MeToo Movement

(AllHipHop News) Many powerful men in entertainment, news, and politics have been taken down by the #MeToo movement. However, R&B superstar R. Kelly did not face the level of career-ending condemnation as Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Matt Lauer, Tavis Smiley, Russell Simmons, Charlie Rose, and Al Franken.

One of the women claiming she faced sexual, physical, and mental abuse from Kelly is questioning why the veteran vocalist has not garnered the same attention. Jerhonda Pace spoke with Buzzfeed about her concerns with #MeToo as it relates to what she sees as a lack of concern for Kelly’s alleged victims.

“I was livid, because when their stories came out, they received so much attention. It was just crazy, and I was like, ‘What about R. Kelly’s victims? What about us?’ Nothing happened for us,” said Pace.

She later added, “I didn’t feel that [any of the investigators] were passionate about it and that they were going to pursue it the way that it needed to be pursued. I was told that they want more witnesses to corroborate my story, which makes no sense: I’m the victim; I have the proof: He was paying me, I have the contract he signed, I gave them the DNA T-shirt, I gave them everything proving I was there, and they were like, ‘We need more people to say that they saw you [with Kelly].’”

R. Kelly has also been accused of controlling a “sex cult” of young women where he dictates every aspect of their lives. The “Down Low (Nobody Has to Know)” musician has denied the allegations.

Some activists and social media users have attempted to continuously highlight the sexual misconduct accusations against Kelly by pushing the #MuteRKelly campaign. A few of the singer’s concerts have been canceled due to backlash from protests, but other shows were allowed to take place.

SlutWalk organizer Amber Rose recently shared her opinion about the #MeToo movement as well. The model/actress told The Raw Word, “It’s kind of frustrating to me because all of a sudden feminism became such a mainstream thing now that white – no shade – white, rich actresses start coming out saying ‘Me too, me too.’ But what happened to all of us?”

Royce Da 5’9″ Addresses Joe Budden Criticizing Eminem’s Music

(AllHipHop News) Joe Budden may not feel like Eminem was taking shots at him on “Chloraseptic (Remix),” but Em’s Bad Meets Evil partner Royce da 5’9″ may have confirmed there is some tension in the Shady Records camp. While on the Rap Radar podcast, Royce spoke about Budden criticizing Eminem’s recent music.

“I think he’s entitled to his opinion just like anybody else, but it goes back to the dignity thing, the loyalty,” Royce expressed. “I can say I don’t like every single Eminem song that ever came out and I’m entitled to that opinion, but there’s such a thing as going past the realm of what your opinion is and making it so that it sounds like you’re trying to sway people’s judgment.”

The Detroit spitter added, “Joe, being an artist, I thought if anybody, he would understand how important it is that you walk eggshells around each other’s art. That’s just how we do.”

Budden took to Twitter to let his 1 million followers know he would be addressing the issue on the next episode of his own podcast. He promised to provide “perspective” on his fellow Slaughterhouse member’s comments.

Royce Da 5’9″ is currently on a media tour in support of PRhyme 2, his upcoming collaborative effort with producer DJ Premier. The LP contains features from Roc Marciano, Yelawolf, Rapsody, Big K.R.I.T., 2 Chainz, and CeeLo Green.

Meek Mill Speaks At “REFORM: Bringing Injustice To Light” Event

(AllHipHop News) It’s been a while since Robert “Meek Mill” Williams has spoken publicly. The currently incarcerated recording artist has allowed his lawyers to speak for him since being sent back to prison last year, but attendees at REFORM: Bringing Injustice To Light got to hear from him.

Attorney Joe Tacopina called Meek during the event, and the Philly native was met with cheers from the crowd. He then used the moment to thank his supporters and express his views about the justice system.

“If God picked me to be the one to bring the light to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and to the world, I accept it and I’m gonna stand up to it,” stated Meek.

REFORM also included appearances by William’s mother and civil rights activist Al Sharpton. The entire panel discussion streamed live on Tidal.

Bow Wow Responds To Leaked Video Of Him Getting Attacked

(AllHipHop News) Overnight, a video of Shad “Bow Wow” Moss reportedly getting punched by a rapper named Cheeks Bossman made its way to the internet. The 31-year-old entertainer jumped on social media to address the clip.

“That’s light work. It didn’t go down like that, and I put that on my daughter,” said Moss. “This ain’t no motherf-cking Bow Wow challenge. It ain’t slide like that, and they know it ain’t slide like that. That’s all I’m gonna say.”

The “Bounce With Me” rhymer posted another clip where he claimed a woman live-tweeted the incident that allegedly took place last November. This viral situation is happening at the same time Bow Wow is promoting his new Greenlight 6 mixtape and Bossman is promoting his new music video for “No More Flexing.”
