(AllHipHop News) Rapper Busta Rhymes recently celebrated the success of his hit single “Pass the Courvoisier.”
Busta assembled a number of his celebrity friends for the event, which took place at Tree Sounds Studios in Atlanta.
Artists like T.I., 2 Chainz, Trae Tha Truth, Kardinal Offishall and others were on hand for the festivities for the single, which was released in February of 2001.
During the event, Malissa “Mali” Hunter, who is the general manager of Tree Sounds, gifted the rapper with a rare bottle of Courvoisier L’essence.
Busta ended the night with a surprise performance of “Pass the Courvoisier,” which is certified platinum and taken from his fifth album Genesis.

(AllHipHop Rumors) Future has been dropping music like crazy during the successful run that has been his career, and even lately as the rapper dropped two albums back to back in under two weeks!
Apparently Ellen Degeneres‘ press team has definitely added to the rumors that the Atlanta rapper was gearing up to release yet another album this Friday!
A press release from the Ellen Show went out, that fueled the rumors that Future would really be releasing a third album for his Future Hive this week. The release stated,
“One of the biggest rappers in music, FUTURE is on the show today! He’ll be performing a song from his upcoming CD, “HNDRXX.” He has the #1 album in the country this week with “Future,” and is attempting to have three #1 albums in a row in three weeks – which will make him the first in history to do that! He’s bringing it all to Ellen!”
It actually wasn’t hard to believe that Future had another album ready to go with the way he records music. He says he’s in love with recording, making music, and being in the studio.
Apparently Future’s manager has shot down the claims of a third album though, by calling them “false.” Welp. Almost doesn’t count! Are Future fans ready for new music already?!?

So 11 DAYS BEFORE THE ELECTION, Comey whacks it out there and then takes an entire week to figure it all out and announce again, ‘Ooops – sorry – the emails were duplicates. There’s nothing there for any charges.’
What’s wrong with this picture?
Comey, some of us real pros know better than that.
You, me and any I-T expert could have known they were duplicates within 5 hours – not the better part of 2 weeks.
In fact, anyone with a PC or laptop could have used the ‘Control – ‘F’ process and with that, figured out the new w##### emails were in fact old w##### emails, as you eventually announced, one week before the election.
And here’s more of what real investigators know and should have immediately been reported on all the major TV networks.
You all public figure types also discuss things for days or weeks before you tell the public anything about a new controversy. So by the time the public hears the tiniest first peep, it’s been discussed for at least days or weeks by offices like yours. So instead of 11 days before the election, this cheating poison hash you made up was probably underway for at least 15 days. And in those days of purported care and concern by your office – you could have gathered your entire Hillary email investigation onto a computer and then hit the ‘Control ’ key (or Command key for you MAC people) and the ‘F’ key. Then you enter 3 different, unique key phrases from each of the alleged new-but-not-new emails. Then check for matching word-counts and in doing that, you would have known almost immediately, they were duplicates
AND IT WOULD NOT TAKE 15 DAYS TO FIGURE THAT OUT.
Who knows with more staff – you might be able to do it in a mere 3 hours.
What have they promised you Mr. Comey? How Much Money?
What new job or secret trust fund awaits your kids?

How else to explain the heightened scrutiny on dead emails, dredged and killed again – dredge up – kill again and repeat. And your complete lack of professional interest in Rudy Guiliani’s predicting ‘a big surprise, was coming’ soon from your office and then you actually announced the Hilary email thing. Trump calling on Russia to hack more and his publically proclaimed “love” of “wikileaks.” Then Trump standing with the press on the plane, February 10th, saying he had no idea about Flynn’s Russian talks, that he’d look into it. Then it comes out Trump absolutely knew about Flynn’s Russian talks. So Trump fires Flynn for misleading the Vice president and tricking him into lying to the country that Flynn was clean.
But Don Trump – YOU KNEW that Flynn was lying to the vice president too.

So shouldn’t you fire yourself now? You did the same damn thing.

Comey – I thought you were an American – mightn’t you have said something about Russia hacking into our election process and all the video of Trump calling for such a hack?
Also In light of Giuliani going on national television announcing ‘something big was coming’ from his sources at the FBI, why didn’t you investigate that since it was already announced by Giuliani himself? Did you miss that lead Sherlock? What the hell kind of an investigator are you?
Instead, you announce the alleged new email problem which the afore-mentioned simple search with three staffers and two laptops with ‘Control- “F” would have seen were duplicates in hours, not weeks. (AllHipHop News) Singer Lauryn Hill has postponed a Pennsylvania concert set for Monday (February 27) due to a scheduling conflict.
The Fugees star was scheduled to hit the stage at the Byham in Pittsburgh on Monday to make up for being three hours late to a show at Heinz Hall in the city last month, but the gig has been moved to an early summer date.
“Due to a scheduling conflict, Ms. Lauryn Hill’s performance at the Byham Theater has been moved to Friday, June 2,” a statement reads. “All tickets purchased for the February 27 show will be valid for the new date.”
“Due to the snow yesterday in NYC (New York City), half of my band, and some members of my crew, were stuck at LGA (LaGuardia) airport all day. After several cancelled and delayed flights throughout the day, they arrived late last night, and went straight to the venue for the show.”
Hill admitted “in hindsight,” she should have made the decision to axe the gig and reschedule, but wanted to press on with the show for those who had waited patiently for her arrival.
It’s not the first time the 41-year-old has showed up hours late for a show – last year, she was two hours late for a concert in Atlanta, Georgia. She subsequently apologized, claiming her “perfectionist tendencies” had delayed the start of her performance.
(AllHipHop News) Pharrell Williams and comedian Ellen DeGeneres have joined Lady Gaga for REVLON’s new global social movement, The Love Project.
Lady Gaga teased the project on Twitter this week with a mystery message to her followers.
“I’m so proud @BTWFoundation (her Born This Way Foundation) and I are partnering with #theloveproject2017,” she wrote.
Her post failed to shed much light on the exact nature of the collaboration, but she then called on fans to “Show us your #lovein3words”.
Officials at Revlon just released a statement detailing the project, which officially launched with a TV commercial featuring the three stars during Sunday’s Academy Awards U.S. telecast.
In the commercial, Lady Gaga, Pharrell and Ellen will explain what love means to them, in the hope of raising money for several charities, in addition to the $1 million bosses at the cosmetics giant have already pledged.
“The Love Project is the beginning of a social movement which aims to inspire more love, acceptance and caring in the world,” said Carlos Barreto, Revlon Senior Vice President Marketing. “At the heart of this campaign is the belief that all people are beautiful and that love can create a better world.”
Charities which will benefit from the project include Gaga’s own Born This Way Foundation, plus Pharrell’s educational organization From One Hand to AnOther, and the Trevor Project, which provides support for children and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) young adults.
(AllHipHop News) Beyonce reportedly told guests at a pre-Oscars party on Saturday night (February 25) that she and husband Jay Z will find out the gender of their twins in two weeks’ time.
And it seems the excitement about the impending arrivals is all the “Formation” star could talk about as she and her spouse attended movie mogul Harvey Weinstein’s bash at the Montage in Beverly Hills.
A source at the party told the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six that “Beyonce was telling people they’ll know the genders of the babies in two weeks.”
While the couple were happy to announce Beyonce’s pregnancy, they have remained coy about her actual due date.
However, this news, combined with the sight of the singer’s growing bump, has led fans to speculate about when the new baby will arrive.
The gender of an unborn baby can usually be found out between 16 and 20 weeks – with many people discovering whether they are having a boy or a girl at the 20 week scan.
If that’s the case, Beyonce is approximately 18 weeks pregnant, which puts her expected due date at the end of July.
After chatting to guests following a late arrival to the Weinstein party, Beyonce then spent the evening talking to Harvey’s wife, Marchesa fashion designer Georgina Chapman, as Jay Z, donning a black suit with a printed black shirt, engaged in conversation with Harvey.

This is Nicki Minaj’s moment..or could be. As the world knows, over the weekend Remy Ma unleashed a can of “ether” with a side helping of “super ugly.” “ShETHER” was so powerful lyrically that fans/enemies have gone so far as to create obituary programs for the Queens rapper. Remy Ma definitely let off a lethal double tap and just when it seemed like she’d done enough, she unloaded another clip in the same damn song. “ShETHER” was 7 minutes of pure vitriol.
What can Nicki do now?
While some say she should ignore it or just release anything, that would likely result in an instant loss. (Editor’s note: many feel she has already received and instant loss.) Nicki let off the first overt shot with a guest verse on Gucci Mane’s “Make Love,” regardless of what tensions had been brewing. Some bigger rap artists prefer losing a battle, but in Hip-Hop that’s like fleeing a fair one. Should Nicki opt to return fire, she will need to do things very differently. Here are at least 5 things that can help her restore her name in Hip-Hop. Pop fans, ya’ll cool for keeping the financial industry buoyant, but this is another world. The battle.
1) Reply quickly. She cannot take a week to return fire to her Bronx nemesis like her ex-boyfriend Meek did with Drake. Remy’s diss “shETHER” has prompted hundreds, maybe thousands, of memes ridiculing Nicki. Remy Ma’s A-Bomb will continue to mushroom until it blots out the Young Money rapper’s personal sun – unless Nicki acts with swift vengeance. That vengeance can take on different forms. Nicki will probably have to mix humor, with wit with a bit of hardcore. She didn’t do 6 years in the joint, she didn’t shoot anybody and she’s not going to out-tough Remy “Ante Up” Ma.
2) Take the “Ether” route, not the “Takeover” way. I know, because Remy Ma called her comeback “shETHER,” people are saying its “Ether.” It’s not. “Takeover” was “facts” and “Ether” was the dozens. “Takeover” was boxing and “Ether” was ninjutsu. Nicki has to do what she does best in the reply, should it come. Make people laugh. Entertain. Use flows that go places Remy cannot follow. Nicki Minaj isn’t a bad rapper, but she is a superior entertainer. Entertain. A large reason why Nas’ ether was so lethal was because it was so unexpected and people thought Jay Z “killed him.” I didn’t like “Ether” more than “Takeover,” but Nas’ lyrical execution was a flawless victory. Nicki is from Queens so this is also about reppin’ for the home team. KRS-One is laughing somewhere.
3) Perception is reality, you know. All the things in the Remy song aren’t necessarily true. They may be. We don’t know. What we do know is that what Remy said sounded true. Well, Nicki can do this too. Fans already know she makes more money than Remy Ma and that she sells more records too. That’s well established. Nicki has to find the other weak spots. People act like Nas went at Jay Z for three verses on “Ether.” No. It wasn’t until about mid-way in the second verse that Nas really started to tear into Jay Z and Roc A Fella. He even expressed some empathy for his adversary before further reaming him. It will be imperative that Nicki find the pressure points that Remy has and squeeze. This means, Papoose, Lil Kim, Meek Mill and anybody else around Remy. Go at any and everything. That could make more problems, since none of them are slouches, but she can deal with that later. LOL!
4) It will be difficult to go straight at Remy. She’s looking like the comic villain The Juggernaut right now, but even the “immovable force” has mental weaknesses. Nicki is going to have to evoke “Monster” – all those flows and wild personas – and let them all loose. She can show all the elements that had Hip-Hop and pop-hop loving her. She’s a capable artist.
5) Last but not least, Nicki needs a video to accompany the clapback, if she should honor us with a song. There are plenty of advantages to video. Nicki can us other forms to battle to go back at Remy. Drake utilized this a bit after all the memes were made against Meek Mill. Use technology and get the battle open for the new era. This is destined to be bloody and painful. If you remember, both Nas and Jay seemed to be mortally wounded at different points in their “war,” but they both emerged better, stronger artists. Some could say they became more mature men despite all that was said.
This is different, but the end results could be similar. Nicki and Remy are both great artists, but in different ways. I wish them both well and hope the music we get is just as interesting as the battle records. Good luck!
(AllHipHop News) St. Louis rapper Nelly is taking his “Country Grammar” to another level, with an upcoming tour with Florida Georgia Line.
Nelly is set to headline the concerts with the chart-topping country group, and recording artist Chris Lane for “The Smooth Tour.”
The genre-busting outing will take the musicians to cities like Dallas, Philly, Charlotte, and Phoenix, before winding down in Alpharetta Georgia.
Nelly has been mashing up a variety of genres of music for years.
The rapper landed a #3 Pop single with the song “Over and Over” with Tim McGraw, which is certified platinum.
He also recorded another hit single with Florida Georgia Line called “Cruise” in 2012, which shot to Diamond status (over 10 million sold)
Nelly has also been touring the country performing songs from his catalog, with the backing of a full orchestra.

Meek Mill, Drake, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Safaree, Ebro Darden, and The Game have become part of the discussion about the war of words between Nicki and Remy.
The Breakfast Club host Charlamagne Tha God is now claiming the “Make Love” performer allegedly took issue with him for tweeting about Remy’s “ShETHER” diss record.
“Remy Ma so damn disrespectful,” tweeted CTG on Saturday following the release of “ShETHER.”
He later added, “I love the culture!!!! All aspects of the culture!!!”
According to Charlamagne, Nicki was not happy with his tweet and reached out to him about it.
“[Nicki] texted me and told me I was phony cause I tweeted out ‘Remy Ma is so disrespectful,'” said the Uncommon Sense star. “I’m a fan of the culture. I’m a fan of Hip Hop.”
Charlamagne also expressed he wants to see Nicki respond to Remy with lyrics that are not about her sales success, her wealth, or her connection to stars like Beyoncé.

The two apparently had a falling out a few years ago over Charlamagne referring to Nicki’s “Anaconda” as “corny” and his support for Iggy Azalea.

Kanye never received the proper permission to use the song in “New Slaves” and so far, Presser, the original composer of the work, has only received a piddling $700 from the rap star.
According to reports, Kanye and his lawyers did try to settle the legal mess just before the release of the Yeezus album, however, a settlement could not be reached between the two parties.
Kanye reportedly offered a $10,000 for using the sample, which the Hungarian singer flatly rejected, in addition to declining any paperwork sent by the Chicago artists’ lawyers.

The movie, which has garnered a rare 100 per cent rating on film review website Rotten Tomatoes, features Girls star Allison Williams and British “Skins” actor Daniel Kaluuya as an interracial couple which makes a series of disturbing discoveries on a trip to meet the girl’s parents, played by “The West Wing’s” Bradley Whitford and Catherine Keener.
It marked comedian Peele’s directorial debut and was made on a budget of just $4.5 million , and now that investment by producers at Blumhouse Productions and distributors at Universal Pictures has paid off.
“Jordan Peele is an absolute talent,” Nick Carpou, Universal President of Domestic Theatrical Distribution, told The Associated Press. “As we got closer and closer to opening, it’s amazing how many people were rooting for it.”
“Get Out’s” impressive start ends “The Lego Batman Movie’s” two-week reign over the chart, knocking it into second place with $19 million .
The animated movie, boasting the voices of Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, and Rosario Dawson, has now racked up $133 million in its three weeks on release in North America.
“John Wick: Chapter Two” climbs one place to three with $9 million, ahead of Matt Damon’s action epic “The Great Wall,” which slips to four with $8.7 million .
“Fifty Shades Darker” rounds out the new top five at five with $7.7 million.
