Did 2 Chainz’s New Restaurant Fail It’s Health Inspection?!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Uh oh! It looks like Tity Boi needs to hire some people that will keep things clean and in order at his new restaurant, ‘Escobar Restaurant & Tapas’.

The restaurant opened back in December 2016, and has reportedly already failed its first health inspection.

According to Fox News, 2 Chainz’s restaurant received a score of 59 from the Georgia Department of Public Health. As you know, anything below 69 is a failing score.

According to the report, the inspecition officials noted expired milk and raw hamburgers were stored above collard greens.

They also reported that they noticed red and black mold like substances in an ice machine.

Word on the curb is that the individual they spoke with at the restaurant had no knowledge on several foodborne illness risk factors. Fail!

Will you be eating there? I’m sure 2 Chainz will pull it together, prior to this inspection, his restaurant had reportedly scored a 99. Will people give it a chance now though?

Jay Pharoah Blasts Mumble Rap: I Ain’t Trying To Have Bullsh-t In Every Category (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Comedian Jay Pharoah sat down with AllHipHop.com to talk about his various work in the entertainment field.

As a big fan of the culture, the former Saturday Night Live cast member had a lot to say about Hip Hop.

The conversation included Pharoah sharing his thoughts on a popular trend in rap music at the moment.

“People are starting to get sick of that mumble rap stuff. It’s about to be a big flip over in Hip Hop where people are actually listening to words and messages again,” said Jay. “It was all fun and games when Obama was in office, but now that he’s out, it’s like, ‘I ain’t trying to have bullsh-t in every category. There needs to be some type of stability here.”

Pharoah has released his own music including 2014’s The Resurrection mixtape.

Suge Knight Says “Child Murderers” and “Cop Killers” Are Getting Better Treatment In Jail

(AllHipHop News) Imprisoned rap mogul Marion “Suge” Knight appeared in a courtroom yesterday (February 22), to protest the conditions he is being jailed under.

Suge once again complained to a judge that the extreme circumstances surrounding his incarceration are hindering his ability to defend himself against murder charges.

The Death Row Records co-founder insists that “child murderers” and “cop killers” at the same correctional institution were being treated like kings.

Meanwhile, Suge said that he lacks the adequate resources and access to defend himself against the charges, relating to a deadly incident involving his nemesis and former partner, Dr. Dre.

Suge is accused of killing Terry Carter, and the attempted murder of Cle “Bone” Sloan.

Suge ran the men over during an argument in the parking lot of a hamburger restaurant in Los Angeles, during a taping for a commercial for the movie “Straight Outta Compton.”

Knight, who has pleaded not guilty, claims that he feared for his life because Dr. Dre had put a hit on him. Suge alleges that the men were coming to kill him as he attempted to race out of the parking lot.

Suge claims he has not been allowed to see his attorneys on the weekend, like other inmates. He has not been able to see any of his family members of the past two years.

Prosecutors have argued that the extreme security is in place to ensure the safety of the entire prison.

Suge is due back in court on March 27 for another pretrial hearing.

Sean Kingston Says Nine People Jumped Him During Fight With Migos

(AllHipHop News) Sean Kingston is speaking out on the alleged violent incident in Las Vegas involving the Atlanta rap group Migos.

The singer shared his side of the story with 8 News Now.

“You can see my face. There was no beat down. It was none of that. It was a jump, but it wasn’t a jump,” stated Kingston.

According to Kingston, nine people – including members of the Migos – approached him and three other people after leaving the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

“We went out there thinking we were going to have a conversation,” Kingston added. “They FaceTimed me, ‘Yo, come outside let’s talk like men. I miss you. Let’s chalk it up.'”

He continued, “As soon as I went outside it was no talking. They just started jumping on me and throwing punches. I didn’t have a chance to put my set up. I didn’t have a chance to do nothing.”

Kingston claimed he does not know the actual reason Migos’ entourage supposedly attacked him, but he mentioned his association with Soulja Boy.

“I’m hearing different stories,” added the “Beat It” performer. “I’m hearing it has something to do with Soulja Boy.  He was at my house. I said something in a video they didn’t like.”

Soulja Boy and Quavo of the Migos were involved in a public feud.

Kingston’s friend Moses “Bo-Jack” Johnson reportedly fired at least one shot into the air in order to get the attackers to stop the assault.

However, Bo-Jack was taken into police custody.

He is facing multiple charges including assault with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.

EXCLUSIVE: Taylor Bennett Talks New EP, Proving Himself As An Artist & Combating Homelessness In Chicago

(AllHipHop Features) Following the release of several projects – including 2015’s Broad Shoulders – Taylor Bennett is back with a 9-track EP. Restoration Of An American Idol arrives after Bennett spent the last few years building his fan base by dropping music, performing at festivals, and annihilating freestyles on Sway In The Morning.

Many listeners discovered the native Chicagoan as Chance The Rapper’s little brother, but Taylor believes he has effectively emerged from the shadow of his Grammy-winning sibling. In a way, Restoration Of An American Idol is the personification of his celebratory mood for being a performer that believes he is currently creating at his own high level.

As an independent artist, Bennett has found ways to share his talent with the masses without major label help. The 21-year-old neophyte connected with the distribution/publishing company TuneCore, and he is also a “Tidal Rising” artist.

His association with the Jay Z-led streaming service could materialize into more entertainment opportunities, similar to what other Tidal-supported emerging acts like Lil Yachty, Dave East, Desiigner, Sir the Baptist, Levi Carter, and BZZY have experienced.

Outside of the music, Bennett also made headlines earlier this year when the rapper-singer revealed he was bisexual. Taylor received support from many of his peers and fans. Chance even tweeted, “He’s got God and me behind him, he cannot fail he cannot fall,” not long after his brother’s announcement on social media.

During an interview with AllHipHop.com, the “New York Nights” rhymer expressed he was not ready to publicly discuss his decision about coming out. However, Taylor did give insight into his latest body of work as well as his effort to assist homeless youth in his hometown through the Sleep In initiative.

Just from listening to your music and watching your interviews, you usually come off as having this upbeat, positive attitude. Where does having that constant positive outlook come from?

I think it’s having a close relationship with God. I think it’s about waking up and knowing that every day is a new opportunity. I think it’s about being able to look forward to going to sleep. [laughs] Then waking up the next day knowing that nothing’s impossible. Every day brings new opportunities.

For certain artists, there’s not always going to be a record deal. There’s not always going to be your favorite artists hitting you up. Sometimes it’ll just be a free hour at the studio or coming up with a good lyric. It can be just as simple as getting a new pair of shoes. You gotta enjoy the little things because that’s what’s most important.

You have a big thing coming this week. Your new EP is dropping. Restoration Of An American Idol – that’s a pretty self-assured title. What’s the message that you’re trying to convey?

Restoration is to bring back, to restore. But it can also be looked at to bring back the heir to a throne. When I say, “Restoration Of An American Idol” – with this album and title, I think it’s my best work yet. I also think it’s my most honest work yet.

I think that’s what Hip Hop is all about. It’s about being yourself. It’s about being different. It’s about not worrying about if everybody accepts you for who you are or what you believe in. I think it’s also about having what’s called the “it” factor. Some people have “it” and some people don’t.

I think that as an artist you have to be willing to stand on your own two, be honest and say, “This is who I am. This is my place in the musical world, and I’m not afraid to claim my title of who I am.” I also like to think this is my breakout album.

You say you feel like this is your breakout album. There’s a line where you say, “I had to show I’m not lil bro.” Do you feel this is like your Janet Jackson’s Control, where you’re putting a stamp on, “I’m Taylor Bennett, my own respected creative force”?

I think I’m at that height now from all the past work that I did. I think that line was actually referencing all the past work I’ve done already to get out of the shadow.

Growing up, everybody thought I wanted to rap because I was Chance’s little brother. But after the Broad Shoulders album, the Broad Shoulders short film, selling out venues from New York to Chicago, the “10 Fingers of Death” [freestyle], and all these things – I think I had to go through all of that to really get fans, not just people that wanted to hear me because I’m Chance’s brother or have people think, “He raps because he’s Chance’s brother.”

That’s why I’m so happy about this album because I think it’s so good. People can actually, for the first time, listen to it with a clean slate. Just looking at a clean slate and saying, “This is Taylor Bennett. This is what he’s about. This is his project.” That’s also why I think this will be my breakout project.

You have a record with you, Chance, and Jeremih on the EP. Were you guys in the studio together when you recorded that track?

Actually, Mike Will Made It produced that beat. It’s a song that Chance was supposed to put on a Mike Will Made It album around the time of Acid Rap. It’s one of my favorite songs.

When I got sick in New York, I had a blood clot. I felt so sick. That was the only song I could really think of. I called him like, “Yo, you gotta let me have this song.” He let me have it. That’s how it came together. We’ve worked through it all together since then, but that’s where it came from.

You’re also doing some work in Chicago with the “Sleep In” project.

Yeah, we’re working with La Casa Norte which is a shelter in Chicago. Homeless youth is a really big problem. When people think about homelessness, they don’t think about kids. Usually, they think about adults.

But in fact, homelessness with kids is a huge epidemic, especially in Chicago. So I’ve been doing a lot of work to try to bring the city together and to make something happen. Like I said, there are not a lot of people that are aware of it.

The thing about being homeless doesn’t mean that you don’t have a place to stay one day or the next day. It means you don’t have a stable place to go. So you could be sleeping at your aunt’s house or your friend’s house. That’s still homeless. That could even resort to sleeping on trains.

Growing up in the inner-city, I had a lot of friends that never really had a stable place to live. So that’s an initiative we’re trying to put into action right now.

Police Publish Footage Of Bankroll Fresh Shooting

(AllHipHop News) Atlanta police have released surveillance video capturing the shooting death of popular Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh.

Investigators published the shocking video yesterday (February 22).

Bankroll, born Trentavious Zamon White Sr., was shot and killed on March 4, 2016, after a shootout outside of Atlanta recording studio.
Police believe Bankroll Fresh fired the first bullets in the wild shootout, although the case is still being investigated.

Soon after Bankroll was killed, his childhood friend and fellow rapper No Plug confessed to the murder.

The disturbance that led to Bankroll Fresh’s death began with an argument in the studio, which intensified into a brawl between Bankroll and No Plug.

According to No Plug, he left the studio and only went back to search for a few cell phones he had misplaced during the tussle.

When he returned to the studio, he was greeted by Bankroll Fresh, who was allegedly wielding brandishing AK-47, resulting in gunplay, and ultimately, Bankroll’s death.

Bankroll’s uncle Marvin “Shadi” Powers addressed No Plug’s confession during an interview with AllHipHop.com.

“Just because Homicide interviews you and lets you go don’t mean it’s over. They just ain’t got enough information. It’s an open investigation,” Marvin Powers told AllHipHop.com.

Future Threatens Rocko’s Life? Metro Boomin Takes Shots At Rocko?

(AllHipHop Rumors) I knew it wouldn’t be long before Future and Rocko actually got into it.

The longtime collaborators have both expressed that at one time they even considered themselves to be brothers. Rocko raised eyebrows when he began posting and promoting Future’s latest projects on his Instagram in a positive or rather neutral manner.

Things switched gears when Future went live on social media responding to a fan, and letting them know that his new album wasn’t put out because of Rocko.

As you know, word on the curb is that Rocko is getting some of Future’s touring revenue, and allegedly the royalties from his next two albums as an alleged settlement for Rock’s $10 million lawsuit against Future.

Future took a moment to comment in Rocko’s comments calling him a con artist. What actually caught my eye was Future telling Rocko in the same comment that he was going to die. I don’t know about y’all, but that sounds like a indirect yet direct threat.

You have to be pretty angry to tell someone that they are going to die, so Future sounded like even if he doesn’t kill Rocko himself, he may be upset enough to have it arragned by someone else.

“On gang n-gga! U gone die fake n-gga,” posted Future.

Wow that sure escalated fast. Rocko did respond saying that he wasn’t a con artist when he was letting a young Future shine in his music videos. Rocko didn’t respond to the death threats though.

Many believe that Metro Boomin was even taking shots at Rocko as he tweeted,

“Word of the day #JEALOUSY.
Never could understand the concept of hating on anyone period kuz that’s hoe sh-t anyway. Never could understand how n-ggas can have everything and still hate on the next man trying to put 2 and 2 together. #NotTrill.”

It sounds like for Rocko it’s just about principle and their original agreement. What are you thoughts? Who’s wrong in the situation?

Omarion Calls Bow Wow’s Comments Following His Breakup With Apryl Jones “Wack” (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Last summer, Shad “Bow Wow” Moss made news after he made a public comment about Omarion’s breakup with the mother of his children, Apryl Jones.

“Let’s go knock some b-tches bro. U single now. So many ig and aod dancers out here waiting on you bro. We throwing you a I just became single party,” wrote Bow Wow soon after Omarion announced his relationship was over.

Omarion was a recent guest on The Breakfast Club, and the Maybach Music Group representative spoke about his Face Off album collaborator’s words on Instagram.

“I thought that was kind of wack,” responded O. “He didn’t really have no regard or no respect for the position that I was in. Whatever I was going through, you’re supposed to support that.”

The “Post to Be” singer revealed he has not spoken to Bow Wow since that ordeal.

“That’s still the bro. We made a lot of money together. We got a lot of history together,” said Omarion. “It’s just the music means something different to me now.”

The ex-B2K member is preparing to release his fifth studio album, Reasons, later this year.

Birdman Promises New Music From Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, & Drake This Year

(AllHipHop Rumors) It looks like new music from the trio is certainly on the way.

The NBA All-Star weekend was certainly action-packed as it took place down in New Orleans this year.

Since it took place in the NO, it was only right to have the Hot Boys/ Cash Money involved in the festivities.

Both Mannie Fresh and Birdman chatted with Billboard, revealing their plans for the rest of the year.

Their plans include their Apple Music documentary, ‘Before Anything’ that will chronicle Cash Money’s journey, life, and semi-success before their label deal.

“I thought it made more sense to put it out this year on our 20th anniversary. Anybody that been in this business and this industry for 20 years with the same company, it just don’t happen. We was honored, blessed and fortunate enough to be able to do it and I thought this would be the perfect time to do it. I remember the fame that come with the glory, all the numbers and the sales but the struggle, the obstacles, the situations, the sh-t that we been through — that would make a man,” said Birdman.

Birdman also gave some promising details and updates on forthcoming music from Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Drake.

He claims they are, “coming with their projects”. He also says he’s coming with first solo project in seven years, ‘Ms. Gladys’.

Birdman still claims that he is going to make it right with Wayne, and Weezy’s much- anticipated ‘Tha Carter V’, project is actually coming out this year too.

“You will get it this year. Me and Wayne will be aight. I’ma make that work. That’s my son and I love him, and we’ll make it happen,” said Birdman.

Would you like to see several collabs from Drake, Wayne, and Nicki in addition to their independent projects?

Rocko Fires Back At Future For Calling Him A “Con Artist”

(AllHipHop News) Rocko and Future are currently in a full-blown feud on social media.

The current conflict between the two Atlanta natives appears to stem from a lawsuit over revenues from Future’s association with Rocko’s A-1 Recordings.

Rocko addressed the issue on Instagram by offering support to the “Draco” rapper.

That was followed by Future claiming the label head is a “con artist.”

In another social media post, Rocko fired back, writing, “I wasn’t a con artist when I made sure you got a look in all my videos tho… ole camera shy n-gga.”

22 Savage Beats Murder Case? LOOKS LIKE A CELEBRATION!

(AllHipHop Rumors) The news section will certainly clear this up, but until then…rumor. The rapper known widely as 22 Savage has apparently beaten his murder case. Yep! A Jury has decided against indicting Young 22 on murder charges. Last year, ol’ boy known for trolling 21 Savage was wanted on murder charges. But, he is now such a happy camper, he’s posting pics with white kids to express his joy on beating the case! Dude is only like 20 years old. This is good news. Now, we’ll see if his rap career stands on its own two feet. He apparently rejoiced and said, “After waiting hours in that b#tch #godisgood #22gang.”

Look at lil duders in the front. LOL!

Don’t sleep though. He’s still beefing with 21 Savage.

Diddy: “About Those Billionaire Claims…”

(AllHipHop Rumors) I knew that Diddy wasn’t the first rap/Hip-Hop billionaire, but people kept wanting us to report on it. Well, the furor got all the way to Diddy himself. And, in the classiest way, he offered a retraction on IG, shouting out Jay Z and Dr. Dre.

“Hey guys I appreciate the congratulations but it’s a little bit premature I still have a lot of work to do. At the end of the day it’s not about the money it’s about the impact that you have on the world! Money doesn’t make you rich but it sure does pay the bills! Thoughts?

Detroit Loves Dilla: They just do it a little differently.

(AllHipHop Editorial) February is a rough month in Detroit. Dark, drab, and you are more than likely to encounter sloppy, heavy, wet snow. It is not a city where a winter event easily draws tourism, our turn at the Super Bowl in 2006 was a snowy disaster. I haven’t lived in my hometown in eight years. But, I still like to visit at this time of year. It’s Dilla Month, after all. Efforts to celebrate James Yancey in Detroit have struggled, and celebration of him in our hometown has long been marred by infighting and inconsistency. This year, there was no snow, instead the Dillatroit 2 event this year was overbooked and underpromoted. In the early years after Jay Dee died, the event was small and intimate some years, then in large concert halls other years. One year, it moved to Miami.

2006 devastated the Detroit hip-hop scene. It was a scene that was still making good noise at the time. Eminem had made it incredibly hot, Slum Village was making good music. There were producers and rappers coming out regularly for years. Then the rug was pulled out when Dilla died in February and Proof died in April. The losses left the formerly close-knit scene and community reeling, and it still hasn’t completely recovered.

There were the hip-hop losses, then a great recession which led to the first bankruptcy of a major U.S. city. In 2008, the charming and well-loved Mayor of the City of Detroit, Kwame Kilpatrick-at age 38 and in his second-term, was indicted and convicted of RICO charges and sentenced to 28 years in the Feds. Twenty-Eight Years. Detroit has been through some s###.

It looks like it. It feels like it.

The neighborhoods are still struggling. Schools are struggling. Crime is high. People drive too damn fast and many illegally. (Ask about Detroit car insurance rates). And, yes, you could’ve bought a house for $500. But most of those houses are torn down now and prices of the rest are steadily improving. Detroit is organically shrinking. It is a city that went from a population of 2 million to a population of 700,000 in less than 20 years. There is more green space, and no lie, more little animals like rabbits and possums. It’s like Detroit is returning from a major metropolis to the smaller town it always believed it was on the inside.

It is improving.

There is a strong downtown. Little Caesar’s Pizza founder, and owner of the Detroit Red Wings and Tigers, Mike Illitch-who recently died, broke ground last spring on a new arena. The Detroit Pistons are moving downtown as well. Quicken Loans founder Dan Gilbert is snapping up downtown property. There is a renewed commitment by businesses, and citizens alike, and there is no lack of the one thing that Detroit has always had: Hope. The motto of the city is Speramus Meliora Resurgent Cineribus, “We hope for better days, it will arise from its ashes.” Like a phoenix, Detroit has burned and rebuilt itself numerous times since its founding in 1701 by a French fur trader whose last name was Cadillac. The city is in a rebirth phase. Detroit is coming back slowly, but in an organic and meaningful way.

The hip-hop scene is still producing national talent like Boldy James, and legacy artists like Danny Brown, Black Milk, Phat Kat, Guilty Simpson, Big Sean, Royce and posthumously Dilla himself are still making great music and money. There are also a multitude of other great rappers coming up, including almost a half-dozen dope female emcees. This is still Eminem’s hometown. Like the city itself, there is renewed dedication to (and interest in) Detroit hip-hop as a scene and community.

On Valentine’s Day, I went to Dilla’s Delights for the first time. The donut shop opened by Dilla’s Uncle Herm really is delightful. The shop sells vegan and regular donuts. The Fantastic Fritter was amazing. There was a lemon-filled one named after Aaliyah. Dilla’s photos and spirit grace the small store, and depending on when you come in you might find one of his daughters, Ty-Monae’ or JaMya, behind the counter. By my noon visit, they were nearly sold out and there was a light, but steady stream of people dropping by. I sat, and ate my fritter, and drank coffee. I could have sat there staring out at the downtown view all day. I took pictures of everything and talked for a long time with Glenn, the retail manager. Dilla’s Delights is a beautiful brick-and-mortar tribute to Dilla’s greatness (and his favorite snack food).

The store is in Harmonie Park, a historic neighborhood that is about to see exponential expansion and growth as it officially declares itself a hub of Detroit music. The new Detroit Institute for Music Education is walking distance away. The DIME offers full-time courses in Commercial Songwriting, Music Industry Studies, and Commercial Music Performance.

Dilla and Detroit had a rough relationship when he was alive. As much as he is loved around the world, he is still virtually unknown to the average Detroiter. But then, even Luke 4:24 says, “Truly I tell you no prophet is accepted in his hometown.” His music was never really supported on radio, he wasn’t talked about or appreciated except in small circles. So, big parties to celebrate him don’t turn out very well.

Yet, this year at Dilla Youth Day Detroit held inside the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, pre-teens played his music on musical instruments. Kids made t-shirts, and posters, and played around with production equipment and software. They are learning his music in school and after-school programs. His legacy is being rediscovered by a younger generation in Detroit. It is being preserved by his friends and peers, some better than others, here and around the world. It is being served across a counter by his own daughters in the form of the best apple fritter that I have ever had.

The legacy of J. Dilla will always have its roots in Detroit. The man and the place are forever entwined. Like the city, it is changing shape. It looks different. It feels different. It’s improving.

Parties celebrating the life and legacy of James “J. Dilla” Yancey are still taking place all over the world.

Tank Checks Ja Rule Over Popular Hashtag!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Tank said NOT TODAY!

In interesting news, singer Tank & rapper Ja Rule exchanged words on Instagram over a hashtag that is actually supposed to celebrate joy and excellence.

BET’s American Black Film Festival Honors was a star-studded event and of course many wanted to share previous moments from the behind the scenes on social media, especially the award show’s presenter, BET.

BET posted a photo of some of the cast of the New Edition movie, Maxwell, and Omari Hardwick with a caption that included a popular Chance The Rapper-inspired hashtag, #BlackBoyJoy.

It was all good until Ja Rule got offended, instead of him taking the time out to celebrate the black excellence in the photo.

Ja Rule addressed BET asking who was behind the hashtag as he felt that it wasn’t cool as it was very demeaning and goes all the way back to slavery and segregation. Ja Rule says no man should be called a boy as it’s very disrespectful.

Tank who also was one of the New Edition movie’s stars took time out to address Ja in the comments.

“When one Black man tears down another Black man for simply doing things a little different than what he would, that creates the divide. How in God’s name can you find something wrong with that? It’s not like you’ve been the beacon of hope for our community, so I think you should rethink your position. Let these young men live in the success of their hard work! Please!,” said Tank!

Tank felt that Ja should be reinforcing the positivity and not negatively creating a divide. What are your thoughts on the hashtag?

Childish Gambino Talks Creating Joint Project With Chance The Rapper (AUDIO)

(AllHipHop News) Donald “Childish Gambino” Glover and Chance The Rapper have been hinting about doing a collaborative project for a while.

During a 2016 Reddit “Ask Me Anything” session, Chance confirmed the joint album/mixtape does exist.

Then fans were even more curious about the two emcees joining forces after Chance posted a picture with Gambino on Instagram.

The caption for the photo read, “Hawaii then LA, back to work.”

Gambino was asked about the potential project with Chance while speaking with Real 92.3’s Big Boy.

“We definitely met up before. I don’t know if I’ll see him again now that he’s won a Grammy. We’ll see what happens,” joked Gambino. “We actually sat down in the studio and were talking for a little bit. We’re both busy, but I think when he has a moment, we’ve been sitting down working together. I think it’s about catching a vibe.”

The Stone Mountain, Georgia native added, “I just want to hang out with him. I don’t work with people over email anymore. I think it doesn’t make good work. We have to find a time to sit down together.”

Both Gambino and Chance had breakout years in 2016.

Glover won several awards for his FX series Atlanta, and he released the critically acclaimed “Awaken, My Love!” album.

He was also picked to play Lando Calrissian in the forthcoming Star Wars film centered around Han Solo.

Chance The Rapper’s Coloring Book mixtape became the first streaming-only project to win the Grammy Award for “Best Rap Album,” and the Chicago native took home the trophy for “Best New Artist.”

In addition, the Save Money collective member arguably had the rap verse of the year with his contribution to Kanye West’s “Ultralight Beam.”

Nick Cannon Blasts ‘The National Enquirer’ For Report About Alleged “Nervous Breakdown” & Mariah Carey

(AllHipHop News) Nick Cannon is fighting back against the rumors.

The show business veteran blasted gossip magazine The National Enquirer on Instagram.

According to Cannon, the tabloid is set to publish an article that claims he is suffering from a nervous breakdown and his ex-wife Mariah Carey is considering to petition to get custody of their two children.

In a pre-emptive reaction to the yet-to-be-released story, the 36-year-old Wild ‘N Out host threatened to sue the  Enquirer.

Cannon wrote on IG:

MORE LIES!!! So the @enquirer wants to play around with my children. Only Evil operates in this manner. What is the purpose? Except to exemplify pure immoral wickedness. If you report these lies expect a slander and defamation lawsuit. Look everyone, see how the media is trying to break a King? It’s all good though, I’m a warrior! I was built for this! Me and my family, my mindset, and my spirit are all stronger than ever. I felt like releasing this so called “journalist” info to the public so you all can get at them, but instead I release nothing but positive energy into the Universe. No weapon formed against me shall prosper! I receive help through prayer and patience! #Blessed #Awakened

Last week, Page Six reported supposed insiders connected to Cannon were also concerned about “recent dramatic behavior” involving the actor/rapper/comedian.

These stories of alleged mental health problems involving Cannon began after he announced his departure from NBC’s America Got Talent.

The San Diego-raised entertainer stated he was leaving the talent competition TV show because of backlash from the network over an America Got Talent joke during his “Stand Up, Don’t Shoot” comedy special.
