(AllHipHop News) Run-DMC is defending their famous logo from counterfeiters in a new $50 million lawsuit aimed at two of the world’s biggest retailers.
Reps for the famous rap group’s new clothing line filed the huge lawsuit against Wal-Mart and Amazon for selling a variety of knock off products with the iconic Run-DMC logo.
The claims there are a variety of bootleg products being sold through both of the retailers, including T-shirts, hats, wallets and other items.
Back in October, Run-DMC announced their “RUN-CTY” line licensed apparel featuring the group’s legendary logo with Fanatics, a global leader for officially licensed sports merchandise.
The group is expected to rollout their new line around the world in 2017.
Reps for the Run-DMC brand are seeking at least $50 million in damages according to the lawsuit.
(AllHipHop Rumors) Damn. Soulja Boy has to have some music out there, but I ain’t heard nothing but that “Superman” song. He’s not a kid anymore and he’s seemed to done well with his money. He even had a penchant for toting fake guns, so much so that he was recently released on a gun charge for just that reason. Just Ice would not approve. Google Just Ice. Anyway, he recently gave an interview with Vlad TV. And boy did he get roasted for a story the told.
Look at what he said and what the interwebs did.

(AllHipHop News) Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee is feeling President Barack Obama’s eldest daughter.
Swae was celebrating his brother Slim Jxmmi ‘s birthday in Los Angeles, when TMZ.com’s cameras caught him on the streets.
Swae was discussing his group’s amazing year, with their hit song “Black Beatles,” which spawned the viral #MannequinChallenge.
“We made the world freeze, we froze them up man, everybody froze,” said Swae.
During the year, celebrities as varied as Adele and Hillary Clinton, Young Thug, Desiigner, Drake, Diddy, Kevin Hart and Paul McCartney did the #MannequinChallenge on social media.
Even Malia’s mom Michelle Obama got in the act, when she hit the #MannequinChallenge with LeBron James when the Cavaliers were at the White House celebrating their championship win over the Golden State Warriors in November.
“I think we would get along, we are just young minds, creative minds, creative minds,” Swae Lee said of his possible connection with Malia.
Malia has a year off before she starts college at Harvard, and Swae is hopeful he will cross paths with the famous the President’s daughter.
“We both be on turnt up scenes and we both love life equally. We might connect,” Swae Lee said. “I might unlock a new swag for her.”
Malia Obama, 18, may not have much experience dating, but she’s no stranger to rappers.
The First Daughter’s image also made headlines around the world in August, when she was caught twerking to a Mac Miller song and smoking what appeared to be a joint on camera with Chance the Rapper’s brother Taylor Bennett during Bryson Tiller’s set at Lollapalooza in August.
(AllHipHop Rumors) Remy Ma was talking some big sh-t on this recent remix!
Phresher’s “Wait A Minute” has been heating up the streets over the last few months.
The remix has also been receiving a bit of love with Phresher getting an assist from Remy Ma and 50 Cent.
While some rocked with Remy’s verse last month, it wasn’t until the video for the remix was released that fans really noticed that Remy Ma was taking some serious shots at another female rapper.
Fans immediately jumped to the conclusion that Remy’s shots were aimed at none other than Nicki Minaj!
Remy raps,
“Same b-tches call me, that’s how I knew y’all was phony. I put putting that work, taking ’em to church, cause I leave ’em holy. Will I smoke this b-tch? Yes. Probably fail my p### test. Get rid of those fake breasts. And put a vest on this b-tch chest. It’s lunch time, she food. I’m Troy Ave with that tool. Crack a b-tch with my cell phone, really put her on Facetime. That ghostwriter bout to call her. That lifeline getting shorter. RIP Biggie Smalls, why the f### they ain’t want her?”
Safaree is a little calculated himself at times. With that being said, we noticed that last month when the remix was released, he posted a photo of him and Remy on his Instagram.
I mean the ghostwriter and fake breasts line certainly seems to hit home for Nicki. Could Remy have been calling Nicki out, or was she simply just talking that ish on the track? What are your thoughts?

(AllHipHop Features) Many people have dreams of making it into the music business. Often times, it takes more than just talent in order to achieve success in such a highly competitive industry.
Publicist and author Tamiko Hope chose to offer her insights on turning ambition into action by releasing Experience Hope. The motivational audio project featured production by Zaytoven, Sonny Digital, DJ Spinz, and others.
For the second edition of the series, Hope exclusively teamed with her longtime client Xavier “Zaytoven” Dotson to present even more information to aspiring creators and entrepreneurs. Experience Hope Vol. 2 includes the two Atlanta residents discussing topics such as mindset, work ethic, loyalty, and investing.
“This project is an extension of a lecture series I started in 2015 called ‘Experience Hope.’ It’s an acronym for ‘Hearing Other People’s Experiences’ where I’d basically do a one-on-one interview in front of hungry, creative entrepreneurs held mostly at the music school SAE,” Hope explains. “Zay did one and left students wanting more. I’d never seen an audience so mesmerized and hanging on every word.”
The German-born instrumentalist has a certified history in Hip Hop. Zaytoven’s production discography consists of hit records by Gucci Mane, Future, Drake, Migos, and more of rap’s upper echelon.
Besides cultivating his own award-winning career, Zay also worked to help the next generation of producers foster their gifts. He released the From A To Zay book and hosted producer camps. Experience Hope Vol. 2 is an expansion of that educational mission.
“I do producer camps throughout the year where I give information and show people how I make beats, but this project, which is really like a podcast with my beats in the background, is something that people can listen to at the gym, in the car, or wherever they are,” states Zaytoven.
Not only did the “Used To This” beat maker contribute his personal know-how to Hope’s latest effort, Zay produced the entire project as well. That contribution is greatly appreciated by his partner.
“I knew I wanted to collab with him after I did my first audio album of the same name to have him share his thoughts, wisdom, and advice on a larger platform,” adds Hope. “He offered to provide all the beats, which made me realize he really believed in the project.”
In addition, Experience Hope Vol. 2 serves as a quasi-biography of Xavier Dotson. The album’s “Intro” track lays out Zaytoven’s background and accomplishments. Then he continues to reflect on his life throughout the set.
But just as importantly, the goal of the LP is to impart inspiration. It’s a collection of discussions designed to provoke the listener to move forward with his or her own aspirations.
“It’s easy to get excited and get started when the motivation is high but you gotta keep going when you don’t feel inspired. Experience Hope gives you that extra push,” says Zaytoven. “I see me and Tamiko doing another volume.”

(AllHipHop Rumors) It looks like everyone is getting engaged and or expecting their next child.
Word on the street is that Lil Wayne is expecting his fifth child with his fiance Dhea Sodano.
Despite Wayne’s Cash Money issues, rumor has it that the rapper certainly had something very special to celebrate this Christmas with his fiancee being pregnant.
Dhea and Wayne seem so oddly paired, but if he likes it, we love it.
Sources close to the situation tell us that Dhea looked “extremely pregnant” at a Christmas gathering at Lil Wayne’s home in New Orleans.
Allegedly Wayne is trying to break the news on his own terms, so it has been said that he and Dhea asked friends and family to not take photos of Dhea’s belly. They did allegedly allow them to take pics that included Dhea’s face though.
Well, it’s good to see that Lil Wayne had slowed down on making babies. At one time, his baby mama club was popping with several women being pregnant at/around the same time. If this is true, congrats to Weezy and Dhea.
I may very well name my next kid or album TY Montgomery!! Girl or boy!!

(AllHipHop Rumors) If you plan on booking Wale anytime soon, get ready for some pretty detailed demands.
Celebrity rider lists are generally entertaining especially when you are able to see what your favorite entertainers will not go on stage over.
Rapper Wale is so serious about his demands that his rider list is 18 pages long!
According to TMZ, Wale needs a lot. Folarin needs two dressing rooms with extremely clean sofas that have to seat 10 adults.
He’s sensitive about his tea, so he needs an electric tea kettle, along with three armed body guards, Patron, Ace of S####, and Hennessy.
Please do not forget Wale’s scented candle, baby oil, box of tissues, lint free hand towels, Jolly Ranchers, Starbursts, and his bulletproof SUVS!
Ludacris, Jay Z, and Kanye West have had some pretty entertaining rider lists as well. We were certainly here for the old Kanye and his backstage Hennessy/ Coke slushie machine.
In comparison to other celebs, Wale’s rider list isn’t really that extravagant.
At least we’ve been getting new music from Wale with “Groundhog Day”, “Black Is Gold, and “Folarin Like”. We are also anticipating his forthcoming album, S.H.I.N.E and his collaboration with Lil Wayne.
Well if you were a celebrity, what would be on your rider list?
(AllHipHop Rumors) Well. You already know what people are saying, but lets do this anyway. Why are we talking about him? Back in the day, y’all loved to talk about Bishop Eddie Long due to the allegations he was taking advantage of young boys. Well, now people are talking about Eddie because he looks different than before.
Here he is now:
Atlanta's own Bishop Eddie Long looks unrecognizable in new photos. Many speculate a serious health issue, he says, "God has healed him". pic.twitter.com/TroiiDD9Lp

Anyway, shout out to Bishop Eddie Long and may he be cradled in the bosom of love, on whatever form that may be.
(AllHipHop News) Controversial pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli has found a new target of disdain.
Shkreli uploaded a video to YouTube addressing media personality DJ Akademiks.
The federally indicted businessman actually began his digital assault against Akademiks on Twitter.
“My dude. i will confront you. it will not be good for you. never talk ill on me again or extreme circumstances will befall you,” wrote Shkreli in response to an Akademiks’ video on Turing Pharmaceuticals founder allegedly buying Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V album.
Ak fired back with, “bruh u gotta make up a name like Big Gucci Marty…. and at least have a DRACO to be convincing.”
That Twitter message was followed by Shkreli discussing the issue during a Periscope broadcast.
“F-ck Akademiks. If I ever saw Akademiks in the streets, I would smack the sh-t out of him,” stated Shkreli. “Fake ass DJ wanna-be, f-cking rap persona bullsh-t. Making YouTube videos, piece of sh-t b-tch. I’ll f-cking cut you, man.”
Shkreli turned down the aggression in another vid uploaded to YouTube but maintain the threatening nature.
“Mr. Akademiks, I regret I must address our recent interaction in a public setting,” said Shkreli. “Your insistence on attempting to debase my good name have not gone unnoticed and leave me little choice but to levy a brutal retaliation.”
The 33-year-old went on to claim he assigned his business executives to do “extensive research” on Akademiks.
“My understanding from my colleagues is you’ve never seen inside a jail cell. Let me tell you sir, you would not do well in such conditions,” added Shkreli.
In addition, Shkreli stated he had no intention to physically harm Akademiks because he is currently out on bail, but the man known as “Pharma Bro” claimed his “vast staff” knows where the social media star sleeps “on a nightly basis.”
The Brooklyn native declared, “Despite my requests that my employees refrain from harming you, they are a rowdy and a difficult group to control. The mention of my name in your video angered these gentlemen significantly.”
These “employees” supposedly have criminal histories and access to legal weapons, according to Shkreli.
“I give you fair warning that my associates may be looking for you and there’s little I can do to call them off,” said Shkreli. “I wish you luck in defending yourself from the reality that you’ve created.”
Check out how the back-and-forth played out on YouTube and Twitter below.

(AllHipHop News) After six years of marriage, Tameka “Tiny” Harris filed for divorce from Clifford “T.I.” Harris Jr.
The divorce papers were submitted on December 7 in Henry County, Georgia.
More alleged details about what Tiny is seeking in the breakup with the Grammy-winning rapper have become public.
According to The Jasmine Brand, the former Xscape singer is seeking alimony, child support, and legal physical custody of their three children – Clifford “King” Harris III, Major Harris, and Heiress Harris.
Tiny’s attorney is quoted writing:
Should custody in this case become contested it would be in the best interest of the children for the Court to appoint a Guardian ad Litem to represent the interest of said children and do a full and complete in-home study and further to appoint a mental health expert to do full psychological evaluations on both parties as well as the children for purposes of assisting the Court in making a custody determination.
The website also claims Tiny is considering having the marriage annulled.
Neither Tiny nor T.I. has publicly addressed the pending separation.
However, on December 21 Tiny posted a message on Instagram that read, “So thankful for growth. I no longer force things. What flows, flows. What crashes, crashes. What’s meant to be will be. I only want God’s WILL!”
A few days later Tip posted his own message on IG where he listed “five things to quit right now”: trying to please everyone, fearing change, living in the past, putting yourself down, and overthinking.
Over the last week, both of the Family Hustle reality stars posted videos of them together with their youngest child on Christmas.
TMZ has sources that suggest Tiny and T.I.’s marriage may not be over.

Pitbull is hoping his annual New Year’s Revolution party goes off without a hitch this year (December 31) after technical issues dogged the first two bashes.
The rapper will be ringing in 2017 in Miami, Florida with Snoop Dogg, Queen Latifah, and Naughty By Nature, among others, and his hope is this time the New Year’s countdown works.
Unlike New York’s traditional New Year’s Eve bash in Times Square, where a crystal ball drops, Pitbull’s ball actually goes up – or at least it should.
“We haven’t got the countdown right in two years,” he told Billboard’s Latin Connection Podcast. “We haven’t even got the ball to go up yet.”
But, whether or not the technical side of his December 31 party goes to plan, Pitbull has assured fans he will be having a great time.
“I’m having the time of my life as we’re putting this show together,” he laughed. “New Year’s Eve is all about celebrating, and what I want them (fans) to do is to take on 2017 on a very. very high, positive note.”
The Miami party will be televised live on Fox network on December.
Meanwhile, Pitbull, who is planning a new tour with old pal Enrique Iglesias in 2017, has a very special keepsake from a successful 2016 – he was given a heel from late salsa queen Celia Cruz’s shoe as he unveiled his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“That blew my mind because she’s so special,” he says.
