Beanie Sigel Talks Charlamagne Tha God Suggesting He’s A “Hater” & Writing For Meek Mill

(AllHipHop News) Not that long ago Beanie Sigel was teaming with Meek Mill in his feud with The Game by appearing on Meek’s “OOOUUU (Remix).” Soon after that, Beanie and Meek fell out.

The result was Beans speaking about his issues with Meek during a Tax Season podcast interview and releasing a couple of diss tracks aimed at the Dreamchasers leader.

Beanie recently spoke with The Breakfast Club about his conflict with Meek Mill.

The conversation began with Charlamagne Tha God suggesting Beanie came off as a “hater” for stating “that used to be me” and “I used to be in that position” when referring to Meek.

“That’s a hater? Or me giving some advice to somebody to move a little different? Did you not also hear me say, ‘I don’t want you to make the same mistake I did’?” said Beanie. “So is that me schooling somebody? Or acting like a hater?”

Another major discussion involving the back-and-forth between the two Philadelphia natives is the question whether Beanie wrote lyrics for Meek Mill or Dreamchaser representative Omelly.

DJ Envy directly asked Beanie Sigel if he ghostwrote lyrics for the crew.

“A few of them, yeah,” responded Beans.

“For both Meek and Omelly?” asked Envy.

“Yeah, yeah,” repliedd Beanie. He added, “I referenced a track for [Omelly], and they just kept that part [for the “OOOUUU Remix].”

Meek had already released a preemptive response to Beanie’s Breakfast Club appearance.

“Never gossip in interviews… leave dat to them bitter dudes,” wrote Meek on Instagram.

Russell Simmons Wanted To Fight New York Senator Over Rockefeller Drug Laws

(AllHipHop News) The normally peaceful, Yoga loving Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons was so passionate about changing the Rockefeller Drug Laws, that he almost got into a fistfight with a New York State Senator.

The New York Post snagged some excerpts from Joe Bruno’s upcoming book, “Keep Swinging: A Memoir on Politics and Justice,” which details his time as a powerful Senator in New York from 1994-2008.

The politician offers up a variety of stories on movers-and-shakers in the New York political scene, including Michael Bloomberg, Eliot Spitzer and Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons.

Russell was active in leading major protests at City Hall to denounce and call for changes in the law from 2003-2009, when lawmakers agreed to repeal the law after a 36-year fight.

According to Joe Bruno, Russell got so heated in a discussion about the laws that the two men almost came to blows.

“Just do it [repeal the law]” Bruno said Simmons supposedly snapped.

“My patience was almost gone and hearing a tag line from a sneaker commercial didn’t replenish it,” Bruno said.

“Simmons jumped up and suggested that we step outside to finish our conversation,” implying he wanted to have a fistfight with the Senator.

But, New York Governor George Pataki warned Russell about Bruno’s as an ex-army boxer and things soon cooled down.

“Keep Swinging: A Memoir on Politics and Justice” is due in stores November 29.

Kim Kardashian Files $5.6 Million Insurance Claim In Gunpoint Robbery

(AllHipHop News) Kim Kardashian has reportedly filed an insurance claim for $5.6 million after being robbed at gunpoint while in Paris.

The reality star and entrepreneur was bound, gagged and held at gunpoint in a Paris apartment as thieves grabbed jewellery and cellphones in the early hours on Monday October 3.

Kim was left alone in her apartment when the thieves, dressed as French police officers, struck. Her bodyguard Pascal Duvier was looking after her sister Kourtney elsewhere in Paris at the time of the incident.

The mother-of-two was spotted back in Los Angeles on Friday (October 7), as it was reported filming on Keeping up with the Kardashians has been halted so the family can recover from Kim’s terrifying ordeal.

And now, Kim has filed an insurance claim for 13 items of jewellery, totalling $5.6 million according to reports.

Her second engagement ring from husband Kanye West – a Lorraine Schwartz 20-carat, emerald-cut diamond – is reported to be among those items stolen, and is valued at $4 million.

Meanwhile, it’s been claimed that the reality star could lose at least $1 million a month after it was reported she would be taking a break from social media and all professional commitments.

Financial adviser Samuel Rad told People.com Kim’s self-imposed break may lose her money, but might also boost her popularity.

“I think what’s going to happen is the first post she’s going to put up after not having posted for (a while), it’s going to get so many more followers and hits,” he explained. “I think that it might actually end up helping her. Especially if Kim positions (her return to social media) correctly… I think it could be a really big moneymaker for her brand.”

Civil Rights Group Declares “War” On YG And Plans Protests At Upcoming Shows

(AllHipHop News) YG will be greeted by thousands of fans later this week during his performance in Maryland, but another group will be there and they aren’t so thrilled the rapper.

A group calling itself the New Civil Rights Alliance is targeting YG and protesting the Compton, California artist, over his controversial song and video “Meet the Flockers.”

“Meet the Flockers” is a “how to” song, which explains the way to successfully execute an armed robbery, and encourages targeting Asian-Americans and their businesses.

The controversy over the single has even reached as far as China, where local citizens are outraged over YG’s track.

A New Civil Rights Alliance representative said they have declared “war” on YG and “cultural violence.”

The rep for the organization went as far as likening the track to tactics Hitler used in pre-World War II Germany, to desensitize the population, in preparation for the violence to come against Jews.

“Historically, Hitler’s promotion of cultural violence against Jews caused the direct violence leading to the Holocaust,” said a rep for NCRA. “Today in America, Cultural Violence desensitizes the devastating effects of hateful behaviors. It motivates the commitment of heinous actions through entertainment for commercial profit, which, in turn, have directly contributed to the high crime rates in this great Nation.”

A number of NCRA’s members, including African-Americans, Asian, White and Latinos, are planning to peacefully protest YG’s concert.

“Every individual should also be held accountable, while being respected, for their actions, regardless of their racial background,” the rep for NCRA continued. “We should embrace great cultural values from all diverse racial groups but strongly denounce the ugly side of the cultural aspects that promote crime and heinous bias against each other.”

The protest is scheduled to take place outside of YG’s concert at the Fillmore in Silver Spring Maryland on October 12.
