Kevin Gates Issues A Warning To Any Police Officers Who Violate His Family

Kevin Gates is never one to hold back or bite his tongue, but his recent comments on Instagram might get him so unwanted extra attention from the government.

Gates truly upset his fans last week by calling the Black Lives Matter movement BS, because he believed that people couldn’t protest with the movement with blacks killing blacks daily.

Gates says that you have to stand up against it all, and not pick and choose when you decide to get on the front lines. Although Kevin doesn’t seem to think those protesting, are handling the issues of police brutality correctly, he makes it crystal clear that he will kill an officer’s family if they violate his.

Gates reflected on Instagram after being asked how would he respond to a police officer causing harm to a member of his family, to which he replied saying,

“B-tch yo whole family gonna die instantly…. If a police search my daughter and put his finger in her p-ssy his whole family gonna die. A n-gga disrespect my son slap him, touch him, scratch him whatever yo family gonna die instantly.”

This is interesting, it sounds like he’s doing the same “hoopin’ and hollerin'” that he complained about others doing about incidents of injustice. What are your thoughts?

Chuck D. Sounds Off On Growing Tensions Between Police & Citizens, Criticizes Media Coverage In Billboard Interview

(AllHipHop News) Billboard recently caught up with Hip-Hop legend and political activist Chuck D. of Public Enemy/Prophets Of Rage, to get his thoughts on the growing tension between citizens and law enforcement nationwide.

On July 5  Alton Sterling was murdered by police in Baton Rouge under very questionable circumstances, followed by the controversial murder of Minnesota resident Philando Castile the next day, which was streamed in real time on Facebook Live.

This prompted some bold citizens to take matters into their own hands with retaliatory slayings of law enforcemen at a Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas, and again in Baton Rouge.

“WTF. That was my first reaction. I mean, do you have the words for things like that? I had no words [in regards to Alton Sterling]. I still have no words for it,” Chuck D. said. “And they went and covered that woman’s boyfriend Philando Castile that just got killed — I was even more silent. And then I totally had no words for what happened in Dallas…,” chimes Chuck D when asked of his initial reaction to the growing controversies.

He also had some choice words for media giants and their irresponsibility in tying Professor Griff to Dallas shooter Micah Xavier Johnson.

“We’re in the era where a picture tells you a thousand words, but now we got a thousand pictures and it doesn’t do that,” Chuck D. snapped. “You got a thousand pictures per person out there in the world. I just thought that was lazy low-fi journalism.”

According to the outspoken legend he wishes to see media improve by having the discipline to stick to the facts in their reporting regardless of the bottom line.

Chuck D. also recommended Cynthia McKinney or community organizer Rosa Clemente as presidential candidates to combat the current unrest and stated that he only views Hilary Clinton as the lesser of two evils in campaign against Trump.

KRS-One: Anyone Who Has A Problem With Afrika Bambaataa Should Quit Hip Hop (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) KRS-One found himself catching heat from critics after the rap legend defended Afrika Bambaataa while the “Planet Rock” performer was in the midst of child molestation allegations.

Rather than backing off his support, KRS doubled down on his views about the situation during a Q&A in Birmingham, England.

“When you’re talking about Afrika Bambaataa, first of all, you’re talking about the person who invented Hip Hop, not participated in it,” said KRS-One. “There was no Hip Hop before Afrika Bambaataa. Let’s start there. So anyone who has a problem with Afrika Bambaataa should quit Hip Hop.”

The Bronx-born emcee went on to speak about the men that have accused Bambaataa of sexual abuse, and he argued some members of the Hip Hop community should never be publicly attacked.

“As I wrote in my statement, I hope for healing for everyone involved. First, for those who are accusing Afrika Bambaataa – accusing. No evidence, no convictions,” stated KRS. “Okay, but we will at least give you the benefit of the doubt. You made these accusations against Afrika Bambaataa. Okay, no problem. Bam, deal with that.”

He added, “Some of us are infallible. Some of us are going to have to be untouchable or our entire culture is going to fall.”

Houston Hip Hop Stars Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Willie D & Others Unite To Combat City Violence

(AllHipHop News) Houston rappers Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Willie D and others recently met with Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner to discuss solutions to inner city violence.

According to CW39, the rappers have opened accounts at Unity Bank in the Third Ward to stimulate economic development as a first step in improving conditions of the community.

Geto Boys alum Willie D stated that the goal of the group is to stop the violence and also “create an atmosphere of respect instead of discontent with our law enforcement.”

Willie D then continued: “You know, it’s very important that people understand that when we say Black Lives matter, we’re not saying that Blue Lives do not matter.”

Mayor Turner believes that it is very important for the artists to become involved because many in the community have lost hope for the future.

“There a lot of people in our city that have lost hope and people are feeling helpless,” Mayor Turner said. “People in many ways are feeling disrespected, and these individuals here- these artists- they have collectively more power than I do.”

At the end of the day Paul Wall just wants to make a difference no matter how big or small.

“Even if we save just one life it was a success.”

Young Thug Goes In On His Baby Mama For Alleging He Is An Unfit Father

Another day, another rapper and his baby mama drama! A crazy amount of drama has unfolded between Young Thug and one of his baby mama’s on social media.

Thug’s baby mama decided to blast Thugger for skipping out on their child’s birthday party, and then all hell broke loose.

Thug’s baby mama accused him of being an unfit father to which, he replied pointing out several ways in which he claims she was an unfit mother.

“The whole house smell like p### but I’m unfit ??? My son chain broke and u put a safety pin on it but I’m unfit??”

“Don’t ever try to embarrass me to the public junky hoe… ME OR QUAN DONT WANT CHA!!” tweeted Thug.

The mother really upset Thug when he was served with a warrant for child abandonment for allegedly failing to provide either adequate clothing and shelter or food.

Thug claims that he pays $4K in child support for both of his kids by her, so there is no way he is abandoning his children.

In the past Thugger expressed that he wanted full custody of all of his children because he could provide a better life for them.

He also stated that he wouldn’t visit some of his children because their mother’s still lived in the hood; he would only see them when they visited him at his home.

Young Thug is fed up with his baby mama! Check out Thug’s tweets below. Ladies and gents, be careful who you have kids with!

EXCLUSIVE: Surprises Expected During Dungeon Family Reunion At ONE Musicfest

(AllHipHop News) The legendary Hip Hop collective known as the Dungeon Family is set to reassemble at this year’s ONE Musicfest in Atlanta.

Big Boi, Goodie Mob, Killer Mike, Organized Noize, and the rest of the crew will be present at Lakewood Amphitheatre later this summer.

But what about extended Dungeon Family tree members such as Future, Joi, and Slimm Calhoun? And will OutKast’s Andre 3000 make a rare appearance on the stage that night?

AllHipHop.com spoke with ONE Musicfest founder Jason Carter about the forthcoming event. The marketing and advertising professional warns fans not to be absent on September 10.

“Let me just say this, if you were to ask The Dungeon Family and Organized Noize, they would say, ‘You just got to show up. You got to be there. You don’t want to miss it,'” states Carter when asked if Andre 3K will be part of the reunion.

He goes on to discuss how the Dungeon Family’s connection to various artists could lead to some other big names showing up during the ATL squad’s ONE Musicfest set.

“You know how people play ‘Six Degrees of Separation’ with Kevin Bacon? You can literally do that with the Dungeon Family and connect them with almost every A-list artist,” Carter adds. “Even beyond the nucleus of Dungeon Family and Organized Noize, there’s a lot of other folks that are excited about this happening that may show up. They have a lot of production underneath their belts, so it’s going to be a few surprises.”

The 2016 ONE Musicfest is scheduled for Saturday, September 10 at Atlanta’s Lakewood Amphitheatre. For more information visit www.onemusicfest.com.
