He shouldn’t, the risk isn’t worth the reward… I’m different when I’m not podcasting. https://t.co/gwULe2HnVD

RondoNumbaNine, real name Clint Massey was sentenced by Judge Vincent Gaughan, according to published reports.
The 19-year-old rapper and 21-year-old Courtney Ealy had already been found guilty of the first-degree murder of Boyd. Ealy, also a rapper named Cdai, was sentenced to 38 years in prison.

YOU GOTTA LOVE JOE BUDDEN, EVEN IF YOU DON’T! Joe is stirring up the proverbial pot in a major way. Now, we know that Meek and Drake may never respond, but it certainly gives us plenty of stuff to talk about. Plus, those are real BARS dropping on these cats. Now, Meek is next on Joe’s menu.

He @‘d Meek stating, “You keep talking everything but rap (I think we all understand why lol)..Do yourself a favor, sit back & watch a real MC do what you couldn’t. ?”
It looks like we have something here. Wow. He really said some hurtful things in that statement. If I was a rapper, that would sting.
(AllHipHop News) Ciara has filed court papers alleging she fears her ex-fiance Future will act on his threats to shoot her future husband Russell Wilson.
“The Goodies” beauty dumped Future in August, 2014, just three months after the birth of their son, Future Zahir, and their split turned nasty earlier this year, when Ciara filed a $15 million defamation lawsuit against her ex.
In her legal documents, the R&B singer accused the rapper of knowingly making false and defamatory statements about her parenting skills on social media.
Future hit back with his own lawsuit, but he reportedly had a change of heart last month and asked the judge overseeing their dispute to dismiss his case against Ciara.
However, the 30-year-old mom is moving forward with her complaint, and has now lodged new papers in court, claiming she genuinely fears for the life of Russell, who she became engaged to in March after a year of dating.
According to TMZ.com, Ciara is worried about the multiple references Future has allegedly made about causing harm to her new beau on social media and in song, highlighting one Instagram.com post in which the “Jumpman” hitmaker is said to have alluded to Wilson by using football emojis with guns pointed in their direction.
She also points out lyrics to a track called “Juice,” which Future recently recorded with DJ Esco, on which he spits:
“Tryna f**k my baby mama, dog what’s up with you?/You gon’ make me get that heat, I’m pulling up on you.”
Ciara goes on to brand Future’s reported behavior “frightening” and “socially irresponsible,” especially in light of “a recent rash of gun violence” across the nation.
It is not clear why Ciara has brought up the alleged threats as part of her defamation case.
Wilson, the quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, has yet to comment on the latest accusations against Future, but the news of the filing emerges days after the Hip-Hop star claimed he bears no ill will towards his ex-fiancee in a candid interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
“Ciara being successful, her being happy, helps me,” Future said, before addressing the singer directly, adding, “I’m attached to you. If you’re happy, I’m happy. You’re connected for life. I don’t want you to go through this s**t and for it to come back on my son, my kid. I want you to be in the best situation.”
Catching bodies. Its a lost art, but there are a pair of rappers that still get it. G-Herbo and Dave East! Chicago and New York City! The pair have come together in a damn-near unholy alliance in “Do It For.” All of these so-called freshman fellows are not created equal. These guys are the genuine article.

The Compton rapper performed “Swimming Pools,” “M.A.A.D City,” “B#### Don’t Kill My Vibe,” “Alright,” “Backseat Freestyle” and much more. Kendrick’s band allowed him to combine gritty Hip Hop with Jazz & R&B aesthetics. Kendrick owned the stage and carried the crowd effortlessly.

It was Diddy and Mase that got the crowd hype as they slid with ease between hits like “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down” and “Been Around the World.” 112 had fans dancing to their hits “Its Over Now”, “Dance With Me,” and “Peaches And Cream”. They even slowed it down for the ladies as they sung their hearts out to “Cupid”. Faith Evans reminded fans why she was the 1st Lady of Bad Boy as she performed “Love Like This” & “Soon As I Get Home.” French Montana took the stage and he turned the energy up with his hits “Pop That” and “Ain’t Worried Bout Nothing”. He also brought out Fab to perform “Ball Drop.” Diddy brought out a glowing Marsh Ambrosius to perform her Floetry hit “Say Yes”. The Bad Boy set wouldn’t be complete without a Biggie celebration. Diddy cued up a Biggie medley that included hits like “One More Chance,” “Juicy” and “Hypnotize.” This set led right into “I’ll Be Missing You,” and all of the Family was joined by a gospel choir to take the superdome home.
Badu ain’t heard from Kendrick. The Internets scared Kendrick Lamar to Erykah Badu! I know what happened, because I can see what I would do. Kendrick had a girl he intended to marry. He’s engaged now. Badu is known to put a mojo on rappers. Jay Elec. Andre 3000. The D.O.C. Common. And Kendrick saw all those comments about Badu’s special powers and got scared!! Look at her! She’s bad!
However, in a series of tweets, it seems like Erykah feels a way about Kendrick not hitting her up.

(AllHipHop News) Fans of Frank Ocean have been patiently waiting for the singer to return with his sophomore studio album for four years. The Odd Future affiliate seemed to suggest he was nearly ready to release the follow-up to channel ORANGE this monthwhen his Boys Don’t Cry website uploaded a cryptic image.
California-based artist Iamsu continued the speculation when he tweeted, “Damn frank ocean album blap.”
The Internet quickly picked up on the post, because it appeared to be confirmation that Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry is complete.
“He did not disappoint! thanks for letting me be apart of history bro! Worth the wait!,” Iamsu added.
The statements turned out to be nothing more than a joke by the rapper/producer.
Iamsu later posted another tweet announcing he had lied about hearing or being part of Frank Ocean’s highly anticipated LP.

Oakland rapper Gift of Gab of Blackalicious linked up with New Mexico rapper Wake Self for a politically charged song, “Change The World.”
Making the track, which was produced by SmokeM2D6 of Oldominion, was a dream come true for Wake Self, who concocted the idea of a collaboration with Gift of Gab in 2014 during a tour.
“It’s a great feeling for me to work with both Smoke and Gab, two artists I’ve looked up to for a long time,” Wake said. “I appreciate both of their contributions to Hip-Hop and have always been impressed by the dedication
they put into their craft.
“This was actually the first beat I sent Gab from Smoke and he immediately said he wanted to use it,” Wake continued. “He actually did his verse first and I heard it and bounced of the content he had put together. It’s always
a blessing when you can rock a track with artists who’ve inspired you over the years.”
In August, Wake Self will drop his sophomore album.
“August 24 is my mom’s birthday,” the rapper said of the significance of the release date. explains. “My main focus with music is to share my ideas with the world, to bring awareness, help heal and inspire people with
music, and make my mom proud.”
(AllHipHop News) Over the July 4th holiday weekend, almost 4,000 people came out to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
The event was organized by Cinespa in Los Angeles for Prince fans, and a paid tribute to the singer and his legacy by screening his 1984 classic, “Purple Rain.”
“This is probably the most revolutionary musical committed to film definitely in the last few decade, probably the most effective, not since The Beatles’ ‘Hard Day’s Night” came out in the 60’s,” said Questlove.
The Roots’ co-founder then brought out Miguel, Nas, Dave Chappelle and Wendy and Lisa of Prince’s band The Revolution.
“I chose tonight to be here with the people who really loved him,” said group member Wendy Melvoin. “And to spend a southern california night out having a really peaceful night, watching a really great rock and roll movie that changed a lot of people’s lives. I was 18-years-old when I made that movie. It’s really meaningful for me to have everybody here’s who here.”
The game has changed in Hip-Hop, but there is a small group of lyrical insurgents that continue to drop heavy rhymes over hard drums. Chino XL, Chris Rivers, and Saint Joe all get together, which will likely blow the lid for lyric lovers. Others may not be as impressed. Regardless of the times, these raps stand and it is appropriate that Chino closes the store. He’s been rapping since the 90’s and hasn’t missed a step. Check out “Homicide Fetish.”
Gucci Mane is back and it ain’t a clone. “First Day Out The Feds” is the latest visual for the Georgia rapper. The video shows a svelte Gucci looking all athletic. Fans of the rapper looks great and sounds good as well. There are still questions. How will the rapper fare in this environment after being incarcerated? Can he regain his title as a King of the South? Will he be able to drop a classic album for all to cherish? Check out the video below.
