DJ Khaled’s ‘Shining’ Ft. Beyonce & Jay Z Tops Billboard/Twitter Chart; PartyNextDoor Comments On The Song

(AllHipHop News) DJ Khaled’s surprise single with Beyoncé and Jay Z debuted on Sunday night after the Grammy Awards, and “Shining” quickly became the most talked about song on Twitter.

The track shot to #1 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart.

A lot of the conversation around “Shining” centered on whether Jay was taking subliminal shots at Drake.

“I know you ain’t out here talking numbers, right? I know you ain’t out here talking summers, right? I know you ain’t walking ’round talking down. Sayin’ boss sh-t when you a runner, right?,” raps the Roc Nation boss.

That possibility of a diss toward Drake did not stop his OVO artist PartyNextDoor from posting on social media about Khaled’s new record.

The singer-songwriter uploaded a photo of the “Shining” artwork on Instagram with the caption, “Another 1.”

Chance The Rapper Remixed Drake’s “Grammys” After Big Wins At The Award Show

(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper was one of the big winners at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards this weekend.

The Chicago representative took home trophies for Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Album, and Best New Artist.

Chano helped celebrate his latest accomplishments by offering a remix of Drake’s Views track “Grammys.”

A snippet of him performing his version during a Grammy after-party has made its way online thanks to Twitter user @YesJulz.

Chance’s Coloring Book became the first streaming-only album to win a Grammy after the Recording Academy changed the rules last year to allow non-commercial projects to be eligible for consideration.

The 23-year-old artist has also seen his Spotify streaming numbers increase following his breakout night in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Controversial DJ Says He’ll Only Apologize To Waka Flocka For Using The N-Word Under One Condition (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Is racism a bargaining chip now? That seems to be the case for Donald Trump supporter Bob Romanik.

The controversial KQQZ-AM DJ faced backlash for referring to Waka Flocka as a “greasy black n-gger” live on the air.

After Waka demanded he be fired and even offered to appear on his show, Romanik spoke to TMZ about potentially apologizing for using the racial slur.

“If he’ll take the violence out of his rap, I’ll never again call him a ‘n-gger’ and I’ll apologize to him,” said Romanik. “Until then, he is what he is.”

The radio host claimed he is not racist before adding, “[Waka] is not a proud black person.”

Is 50 Cent The G.O.A.T?

(AllHipHop Rumors) 50 Cent is certainly one of the rappers who is no stranger to arrogance, confidence, and cockiness.

In case you were wondering who 50 Cent believes is the greatest rapper of all time is………..well……….it’s drum roll……it’s himself!

That’s right. In a since deleted post, Curtis Jackson says that fans call him the G.O.A.T because he’s still around.

This time he was careful not to flat out call himself the GOAT by saying “they call me it”, but he’s certainly revealing the fact that he believes it to be true.

“Hip Hop is out with the old and in with the new. They call me the G.O.A.T. because I’m still here. B-tch I’m the man, hoe I’m the man, you know I’m the man,” said 50.

While 50 certainly had a popping music career at one time, and was even blessed enough to branch off into other endeavors as well, nah dawg, I wouldn’t say he’s the GOAT though.

Matter of fact, where would you rank him on your best rappers list?

50 also recently revealed that he’s going back into the studio to release new music soon!

Would you be here for new music from 50 Cent? Who is the greatest rapper of all time in your opinion?

“I’m gonna start recording new music Tomorrow, I may put something out this week coming. #FRIGO,” said 50.

Did Rihanna Suffer The Biggest Snub Of The 2017 Grammys?

(AllHipHop Rumors) The loyal Navy was none too pleased with the results of the 2017 Grammys.

Last night was quite a night for some on the biggest night in music. I mean look at Adele who took home all five awards that she was up for, and Chance The Rapper took home 3 awards including Best New Artist.

While it was certainly a great night for some, there were some other side-eye worthy moments. Beyonce failing to win Album Of The Year was a total shocker, but the greatest snub might have gone to Rihanna.

Sometimes it seems like Bad Gal RiRi doesn’t always get her recognition. Rihanna’s ‘ANTI’ album was up for six nominations. Some even believe that ANTI is her best album and cohesive body of work.

Oftentimes as black artists get snubbed it makes you really question the voting members of the Recording Academy committee.

Unfortunately Rihanna left empty-handed. I kind of wanted BJ The Chicago Kid to take home something too!

I surely thought ‘ANTI’ would take home something especially with the album’s success. The album has certified 2x platinum by the RIAA, is in it’s 54th week on the charts, and it peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 twice and spent 33 weeks in the top 10. “Work” made you dance, “Needed Me” made the women savage, and even “Love On The Brain” is at the No. 14 spot.

Perhaps Ri anticipated the BS and that’s the reason she brought her bedazzled flask to the awards show! What are your thoughts? Do you Think Rihanna was snubbed?

Kanye West Has Memory Issues and Is Not Working On New Music

(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop star Kanye West has still not fully recovered from a mental breakdown, which he suffered last November.

Rapper Malik Yusef, who has collaborated with Kanye, told Popsugar that the rapper still has issues since he was sent to the UCLA Medical Center for what was described as “temporary psychosis.”

Malik said that he has been helping Kanye West with his “health and recovery,” during the interview with PopSugar on the red carpet from the Grammys last night (February 12th).

“He’s just healing, spending time with his family,” Malik Yusef said. “Saint is getting big, and he’s walking and playing with toys, so that invigorates him.”

Although there have been reports of Kanye getting back in the studio, Malik Yusef said the rapper has been focused strictly on his recovery.

“He’s not working, just going through processes,” Malik Yusef said.

Kanye decided to skip the Grammys last night, in Los Angeles, since he’s planning the unveiling of his Yeezy Season 5 collection with Adidas this Wednesday.

(AllHipHop News) Roc Nation boss Jay Z has his eyes on a Manchester United superstar.

According to reports, Jay is looking to sign Roshaun Williams to his Roc Nation sports management company.

Jay personally contacted Roshaun Williams, who has offers on the table from agents, although he is yet to decide on which one to choose.

“The move from Jay Z has got all the football world talking because it’s a big statement of how he sees his company’s future,” a source told the Sun.

Jay Z already has a number of top athletes signed to Roc Nation, including Jeremy Lin, Victor Cruz, Kevin Durant and others.

Drake Offered To Talk A Suicidal Man Down From Bridge

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Drake reportedly offered to talk a suicidal man down from a bridge in England on Sunday (February 12).

The “Hotline Bling” hitmaker was reportedly leaving Manchester following a performance in the city when his tour bus got caught up in traffic on the Mancunian Way bridge, where an unidentified man was planning to jump to his death.

According to The Manchester Evening News, a law enforcement officer was “approached by a male from a tour van caught up in the traffic congestion, claiming to be part of Drake’s entourage.”

“He offered for Drake to speak to the male on the bridge, if that would help,” City Centre Integrated Neighborhood Policing Team Inspector Phil Spurgeon says. “The offer was declined with thanks.”

Officers were eventually able to coax the man down from the bridge and he was taken to a nearby hospital for a medical evaluation.

Chance the Rapper’s Streaming Numbers Skyrocket After Big Night At The Grammys

(AllHipHop News) Chance the Rapper’s inspirational speech and three Grammy awards also helped boost his streaming numbers.

A variety of artists who performed or appeared during The Grammys last night, saw their number skyrocket on the streaming service.

Chance the Rapper, who performed “How Great” and “All We Got” with Kirk Franklin, also won Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, and Best Rap Performance.

And the numbers for the song “How Great” went up 461% after the performance.

A Tribe Called Quest also saw a huge boost for their “We The People,” which shot up 441% after their amazing performance with Anderson .Paak, and Busta Rhymes, who labeled Donald Trump “President Agent Orange.”

She saw a 680% boost, while more Morris Day saw a 344% boost after his Prince tribute with Bruno Mars.

Nick Cannon Considers Quitting ‘America’s Got Talent’ After “Black Card” Joke Controversy

(AllHipHop News) Nick Cannon could be walking away from one of his many jobs in the entertainment industry.

The 36-year-old showbiz veteran posted a message on Facebook announcing a public controversy could lead to him ending his hosting gig on America’s Got Talent.

Cannon wrote:

I write this from a deeply saddened and dolorous mindset. After days of deliberating over some extremely disappointing news that I was being threatened with termination by Executives because of a comedy special that was only intended to bring communities closer together, I was to be punished for a joke. This has weighed heavy on my spirit. It was brought to my attention by my “team” that NBC believed that I was in breach of contract because I had disparaged their brand. In my defense, I would ask how so? Or is this just another way to silence and control an outspoken voice who often battles the establishment. Recently many of my mentors have cautioned me that soon “The System” would come down on me because I was speaking too many truths and being to loud about it. I had no idea that it all would hit so close to home. I find myself in a dark place having to make a decision that I wish I didn’t have to, but as a man, an artist, and a voice for my community I will not be silenced, controlled or treated like a piece of property. There is no amount of money worth my dignity or my integrity. I have loved hosting AMERICAS GOT TALENT for the last 8 seasons, watching talented, brave, and courageous Americans accomplish their dreams in front of millions has been nothing but a joy, and everyone has been a pleasure to work with but my soul won’t allow me to be in business with corporations that attempt to frown on freedom of speech, censor artists, and question cultural choices. Not to get too detailed but this isn’t the first time executives have attempted to “put me in my place” for so called unruly actions. I will not stand for it. My moral principles will easily walk away from the millions of dollars they hang over my head. It’s never been about the money for me, what is difficult to walk away from is the fans, the people who love me on the show. This hurts tremendously. I felt like I was apart of the fabric of our great nation every summer, representing every culture, age, gender, and demographic. Now for the rug to be pulled from underneath me and to be publicly reprimanded and ridiculed over a joke about my own race is completely wrong and I have to do something about it. I have fought many battles in my career and have never been afraid to go up against the system. I have mulled over my process for days and felt it was best to once again speak my mind about an unjust infrastructure that treat talent like they own them. Maybe it was my mistake for signing the contract in the first place, in which I will take full responsibility and have already taken action to restructure my own team of advisors. I now have to set out on a journey of freedom as an artist. As I was quoted in a recent interview, “You can’t fire a Boss!” and that is the essence that I possess. So I wish AGT and NBC the best in its upcoming season but I can not see myself returning. As of lately I have even questioned if I want to even be apart of an industry who ultimately treats artists in this manner. Most of us don’t realize that there are 6 major corporations that control 90 percent of media in America and the amount of minority executives is dismal. With this being the case, true equality in our industry is impossible. There will always be a “do as I say” mentality that mirrors society’s perception of women and minorities, and only a few will stand up against it. I proudly stand as one of those few, and will gladly take on whatever repercussions that come with it. I love art and entertainment too much to watch it be ruined by controlling corporations and big business. I believe It’s our duty as artists to make a difference and create change even if it’s one act at a time. Dr. King said it best, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter.”

Rumors began circulating that Cannon was in trouble with NBC executives over a joke he made during a recording of a comedy special for Showtime.

Apparently, the stand-up routine features the Wild ‘N Out star doing a bit about having to get rid of his “black card” in order to appeal to the America’s Got Talent audience.

Cannon spoke about the situation during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show.

“If they fire me from AGT cause of things I said, then I can sue them. I can create a whole controversy [like], ‘NBC hates black people,'” he said on the radio program before laughing.

Nick Cannon’s “Stand Up, Don’t Shoot” special premiered on Showtime on February 10.

Waka Flocka Wants His Fans To Know His Mother Started His Career, Not Gucci Mane (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Waka Flocka Flame first came to fame as a part of Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad, but the Atlanta-based rapper is now letting the world know, in his eyes, Gucci was not the real catalyst for his career.

After dropping the diss record “Was My Dawg” aimed at his onetime partner, Waka spoke with TMZ about his issues with Gucci.

“I’ll just say a little bit about Gucci. My fans deserve for me to elaborate on why I went so hard at a person that ‘started my career,'” said Waka. “To set the record straight, my mother started my career. My mother started Gucci’s career. My mother started Nicki’s [Minaj] career. [OJ Da] Juiceman’s career. French Montana’s career.”

Waka’s mom Deb Antney served as a manager for Gucci, Nicki, and others.

She was also CEO of So Icey/Mizay Entertainment.

Gucci filed a lawsuit against Antney in 2013, claiming she cheated him out of profits and used the money for her own personal gain.

The case was dropped the next year.

Lessons in White Supremacy with Donald Trump

and the Gang that Couldn’t Shoot Straight

So a whiter than ever Whitehouse is being dragged through the mud by white supremacists and here are some of their blossoming, YUGE (sic)  mistakes

Trump – President of Illegal bigotry.

Father of the Muslim Ban.

Hero of the mental midgets.

Whupped upside his head as the Courts say, “NO” to the Muslim travel ban and cite his repeated attempts to vilify and ban Muslims while running for president.

[Look out- now he’s gonna try and start a war and swear we have new enemies. That attempted country-shut-down worked once this century with Cheney-Bush. So they canceled that option-it won’t work again Don.]

Trump  – President of Hypocrisy –Trump’s  last campaign commercials wreaked of other antisemitism –the  Jewish variety – with his last campaign ads propagandizing against images of Goldman Sach’s execs only to have it be his go-to team for cabinet appointees. The man who pledged to ‘drain-the-swamp’ has reduced the swamp only by the amount of swamp-dwellers he took from the swamp to put in his cabinet. Trump, who promised not to cut social security and Medicare then appoints a head of Health and Human Services who seeks to dismantle and/or privatize both programs.

Trump – President of the Bamboozled – as he admits he did not know what he signed when his top adviser on intolerance Steve Bannon put himself on the National Security Council and removed the Chairman of the Joint Chief’s of Staff and the National Intelligence Director from their traditional constant seats on the same council, making their attendance on an ‘asneeded’ basis. [Bannon’s presence would be on an ‘ass-needed’ basis.] Trump – so tragically uninformed he did not know who Frederick Douglass was and did not know the famed writer, philosopher, orator and presidential adviser to Lincoln was in fact, dead. [Roll the white house tape on that ‘one for the ages.’] Don Trump who allows Don General Flynn to be National Security Adviser AND take money from the criminally corrupt Putin of Russia – being paid to attend a dinner and God knows what else.

The same Putin even Republican Senator John McCain calls a ‘murderer.’ Flynn, then caught assuring Russians to pay no attention to President Obama’s sanctions for Russia’s attacks on the United States 2016 election. Flynn appears to have violated the “Logan Act” with a dangerous world enemy in Putin. An investigation should begin immediately to see if he attempted to countermand a sitting president’s authority on this highly dangerous international security matter. Stay tuned on that treasonous criminality…

The white people who feared President Obama and who could articulate why, would tell you, they feared Obama would drag our country through the mud. That he couldn’t lead. Their worst nightmare has now come true at the hands of a white supremacist who clumsily brags about everything including his superior German blood. It is a sad day in hell when the Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel has to lecture the President of the United States, condemning his Muslim travel ban.  The properly revered Chancellor of Germany had to tell the president (sic) of the United States his Muslim travel ban likely violates the Geneva Conventions.

Trump – President of the Callous – Don Trump who gave no warning on the bigoted Muslim ban so people expecting to meet their loved ones or business colleagues were instead pitched into a nationwide limbo of possible detention and a number of fine upstanding people were sent back to countries for WHAT ??? The people of the countries that Trump banned have never harmed U-S soil. And he didn’t put the ban on the ones that did.

Trump – President of Racism – putting J. Beauregard Sessions in charge of the Attorney General’s office. Lady Liberty cries at the thought. Sessions, a man who has violated the laws other Attorney’s General have fought to uphold.  Stopping elderly Black folks from voting, a man so racist that none other than fellow traveler, arch racist Republican Senator Strom Thurmond voted against Sessions holding a federal judgeship. Would that Senator Elizabeth Warren could have found a letter from Thurmond explaining why the Sessions dog won’t hunt.

  1. Beauregard Sessions was looking so weak, the senate Republican dictatorship – oh, I mean leadership – denied Senator Elizabeth Warren her constitutional right to read a letter from Coretta Scott King warning of Sessions’ alarming record of racism. As if that and his anti-voting crimes were not enough, he also slept at night while his state of Alabamy tied prisoners to hitching posts and made them stand for 6 to 7 hours a day, in broiling heat or pouring rain as punishment or because they were  too ill to work. He could sleep knowing that daily nightmare was a reality. As Alabama attorney general he saw nothing wrong and did nothing to stop it. Alabama was finally forced to get rid of the hitching post by the United States Supreme Court which officially outlawed the practice, saying the hitching post “unnecessarily and wantonly inflicted pain.” They called it what it was- Torture.

Trump – President of Alternative Facts. Presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway coining and conning the attempted acceptability of her so-called ‘alternative facts’ and she herself claiming on several occasions there was a Muslim-led massacre in Kentucky.  Never happened.

Con-Way standing in broad daylight and endorsing lies about the inauguration crowd size. No, the Trump inaugural was not the biggest ever. No and Never. A black man named Obama holds that distinction.

A special shout-out to Kellyanne ‘Put-the-Con-in’ Conway. You can’t have an officer of the courts extolling the virtues of falsehoods and lies, then calling them some kind of fact.

Little lady – we’re going to move for your disbarment. A lot of people don’t know this, but you’re  a lawyer. And lawyers have special obligations to the facts and truth because they are ‘officers of the court.’ Lawyers are held to a special level of truthfulness and veracity. This is why President Dick Nixon, though not impeached for a Watergate hotel robbery, was disbarred for lying about it. President Bill Clinton, while impeached, did not leave office, was not found guilty of sexual harassment, yet he was also disbarred for lying about it.

Con-Way should be taken before her home state supreme court and whichever Judicial Inquiry and Review Board has jurisdiction,  since as an officer of the court, she has repeatedly, publicly created false information which she says is acceptable because she claims there are “alternative facts.” But her law professors, bar exams and all manner of judicial precedent, opinions, procedures –  all demand and assure – that is NOT TRUE.

What is true ?

Liars get disbarred.
The Law knows it can’t afford liars.

Trump – President of the Stupid – Ramming through the remarkably inept, unprepared and unable to retain facts, Betsy DeVos to head of all things – EDUCATION. She gave the worst ever performance before a senate hearing. Her millions of dollars in pay-offs to senators and charred brains are now in charge of the nation’s education systems.

Trump – President of Scam – conning 62.9 million Americans who did not have the intellectual wherewithal to do their voting homework properly.

Never has a collection of nasty bumblers been in charge of anything near the magnitude of the United States government. As Shirley and Company so wisely sang,  “Shame Shame Shame – Shame on you” republican senators and congressmen for enabling this crippling gaggle of T-rump amateurs.

To paraphrase the great wit of Congressman Charlie Wrangle, the vapid white men of the Trump administration ‘shatter the myth of white supremacy once and for all.’

Put another way, if Trump is a President – there’s hope for every ape in Africa.  […or orangutan as the color may be…]

The Internet – And Drake – Clown CeeLo Green’s Gold Grammy Outfit (MEMES)

(AllHipHop News) Every year, some celebrities wow the viewing public with their outfits on the Grammy Awards red carpet (think Jennifer Lopez’s famous green Versace dress from 2000).

But other entertainers don’t quite pull off their fashion choice at the Recording Academy’s annual event.

This year saw CeeLo Green catching a lot of comedic heat for his “golden-villain-robot” fit.

The internet was not kind to the Goodie Mob member, and even Drake got in on the jokes.

Check out some of the CeeLo Green memes from Grammy Night below.

Amber Rose Isn’t The Only Woman In Wiz Khalifa’s Life!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Wiz Khalifa & Amber Rose may not actually be officially back on…just yet.

Amber Rose & Wiz Khalifa certainly know how to keep us talking! The two not only showed up to Clive Davis’ annual Pre-Grammy gala hand-in-hand over the weekend, they also shared a kiss for the paps!

They’ve had the most on and off again relationship ever, and it’s obvious that there is some love still there, but will they ever truly get back together? Who knows.

Even if Wiz is still tapping that azz in regards to his ex-wife, word on the curb is that Wiz has another woman named Izabel in his life also.

Iz posted a video of 2 Chainz on her snap, and Wiz was partying with 2 Chainz the night after he and Amber locked lips for some publicity.

Allegedly Wiz spent the evening with Izabel after the gala, and appparently he was at the house with her also before he hit the red carpet with Amber.

Iz is a model and make up artist, and apparently she’s one of several as Wiz is another rapper rumored to have a harem. She’s in one of his new music videos as well. What are your thoughts? Is she badder than Amber?
