SMH! Check Out Why Kodak Black Thought He Contracted An STD

(AllHipHop Rumors) I believe the children are our future…. 🙁

We already know that Kodak Black isn’t the brightest crayon in the box, but his ignorance is the gift that keeps on giving.

Apparently Kodak just had his first brush with acne, and mistakenly thought a girl gave him an STD.

Kodak said he was smashing a girl raw, and later he noticed that a bump popped up on his face.

Kodak panicked and told the girl to send her negative STD tests to prove that she was “clean”. The gotcha gotcha is, Kodak thought it would be a good and safe idea to “hit the girl bare,” as he says, instead of getting her “health papers” ahead of time.

Then the fact that he is willing to just walk around and have unprotected sex with random girls is just. 🙁

“I thought the hoe burnt me dawg but thank you Jesus,” said Black.

Luckily for Kodak the young lady’s results came back all negative. Ehhh but the real question is what will his own test results come back as?

The level of ignorance in this clip is just…..These rappers aren’t going to learn until they catch something they can’t shake off. Side note, the fact that Kodak Black doesn’t know what acne is is hilarious. Carry on man.

#NoPoliticalGenius w/Chrisette Michele

While everyone has an opinion regarding Donald Trump, it seems that even more people have an opinion about Chrisette Michele. While I’m not going to front as if I’m not a fan, because I am. Chrisette’s music was the soundtrack of my wedding, and “Epiphany” has found itself in heavy rotation on my iPhone. Regardless of all of those facts, I believe in going to the horse’s mouth and not the horse’s ass.

Many people took to Black Twitter and Instagram to roast Chrisette, including Spike Lee, who took to Instagram to Promote his Netflix Show insert himself into a conversation about Chrisette’s decision to perform at the Trump inauguration festivities.

So because Spike was “Thinking”about adding Chrisette’s song “Black Girl Magic” to his show’s soundtrack, he felt that his feelings would be best expressed via social media. Honestly, I’d expect that behavior from my teenage daughter, not from a 59 year old man. I don’t think it’s a good look.

On a personal note, I happened to be surfing the internet and I came across this picture from 2013 of Spike Lee and some very interesting people:

Spike Lee decided that he was going to come after me for pointing out his hypocrisy.

So because he decided to jump in my mentions, I decided to point out a few facts that my brother chose to ignore:

While folks decided to talk about how 2013 was before The Donald decided to run for POTUS, I decided to point out that Trump started the birther movement for attention back in 2011, still making Spike a hypocrite.

There’s a way to disagree without being disagreeable, and Spike decided to do the very thing that Trump does: Get on the internet and complain and drop attacks instead of having adult conversations.

So I reached out to Chrisette Michele for an interview. The interview is not about shock and awe, nor is it a witch hunt. All of the questions that were asked came from my Facebook and Twitter

The interview in its entirety can be heard on the Latest edition of The Business Bully Podcast. Also in this episode, I speak with the owner of one of the largest Black Lingerie Shops in the world, Kelly Thomas, about Black women being bullied by companies like Victoria’s Secret, amassing over 150,000 active users on social media, her expansion into sex toy sales and the challenges that curvy women face when incomes to finding intimate items that fit correctly!

This was the second major singles chart accomplishment for the North Carolinian since December.

“Deja Vu” off 4 Your Eyez Only debuted at #7 on the Hot 100 chart, giving Cole the first Top 10 record of his career.

Common Responds To Donald Trump’s Threat To Send “The Feds” Into Chicago (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Chicago has been dealing with extreme violence for several years.

The city has become a symbol of urban “carnage” for some Republican politicians like Donald Trump.

Trump addressed the situation in Chicago in a recent tweet.

“If Chicago doesn’t fix the horrible ‘carnage’ going on, 228 shootings in 2017 with 42 killings (up 24% from 2016), I will send in the Feds!”posted the President.

TMZ asked Hip Hop star and Chicago representative Common about Trump’s message for his hometown.

“I feel like to help Chicago, we got to take care of our own. Within the community, we got to do things,” said the Oscar and Grammy winner. “It’s a lot of people out there already organizing and doing things. We need our state and local people to do things. We don’t need that type of mentality.”

Common continued, “I’m not focused on the President right now. I’m focused on helping the people in the city and how we can do it.”

Chicago’s mayor Rahm Emanuel stated he is open to federal assistance in combating the violence, but he is not accepting of the National Guard patrolling the city.

“The place you want — if it comes to safety and security when dealing with gangs and guns — you want the federal resources that are set up to deal with that,” said Emanuel. “That is the ATF, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. That is DEA, Drug Enforcement Agency. That is FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigations.”

Jay Z Refuses To Answer Question About Donald Trump While Promoting ‘The Kalief Browder Story’ (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Jay Z was in Utah to promote the TIME: The Kalief Browder Story at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

At one point, Jay was speaking to reporters about the film, but the Brooklyn rap legend was not willing to talk about President Donald Trump during that setting.

“Not going to answer that,” responded Jay when questioned about Trump.

The Kalief Browder Story co-producer Harvey Weinstein then stepped in to shut down the press conference.

Jay Z was a backer of Trump’s 2016 election opponent Hillary Clinton, and the Roc Nation founder was also a very visible supporter of former President Barack Obama.

While Hov avoided speaking on Trump, he did address the importance of political action during a post-screening Q&A at Sundance.

“We have to organize,” said Jay. “I’ve been in these meetings, I’ve spoken with people, I’ve done many things behind the scenes, but most important: We are the power. I’m sure a lot of you guys participated in it, but that display of woman power the other day was so amazing and we saw the effect: That no matter what, no matter who’s in office, we are the people that’s in power.”

His role as executive producer for TIME: The Kalief Browder Story is another example of Jay Z highlighting the need for social change.

The six-part documentary brings attention to the story of the late Kalief Browder.

Browder was wrongfully arrested at 16 for allegedly stealing a backpack.

The Bronx, New York native was held at Rikers Island without a conviction for three years, two of those years were spent in solitary confinement.

Browder eventually committed suicide in 2015.

TIME: The Kalief Browder Story is scheduled to air on Spike in 2017.

Drake Delays Tour Dates In Amsterdam Again Due To “Production Setbacks”

(AllHipHop News) After announcing pushbacks to the European leg of his “Boy Meets World Tour” earlier this month, Drake is now delaying shows in Amsterdam, The Netherlands again.

MOJO, the concert’s organizer, revealed the update to fans via Facebook:

He can’t wait to start this new tour and show his fans this amazing concert.

Four Classic Hip-Hop Albums Going Into Harvard’s Archives Thanks To Producer 9th Wonder

(AllHipHop News) Four classic hip hop albums are going into the revered hip-hop producer 9th Wonder.

9th was named a Harvard fellow in 2012, shortly after he screened his film “The Wonder Years” at the institution of higher learning.

Part of his duty as a fellow is to research influential hip hop albums for a archival project titled “These are the Breaks” in honor of Kurtis Blow’s classic 1980 song, which is the first Hip-Hop single to go Gold.

9th also tracks down each original sample that was used on every song for the albums, which are also being cataloged and permanently archived in Harvard’s collection.

“These are the first four we chose to start with to live for forever in the Harvard Library…and to be forever placed in the canon…complete with liner notes and the vinyl that was used in the production of the album,” 9th said.

The first four albums 9th Wonder has selected to go in are: Nas’ classic album “Illmatic,” Lauryn Hill’s “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” A Tribe Called Quest’s “Low End Theory” and Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp a Butterfly.”

There are still 196 albums left to be finished according to 9th Wonder.

Jay Z Reveals Story About The Time He Met Kalief Browder

(AllHipHop News) Business mogul Jay Z made an appearance at Sundance, to screen his upcoming document “TIME: The Kalief Browder Story.”

The six-part documentary series chronicles Kalief Browder’s time on Rikers Island.

Browder spent three years on Rikers Island – 800 of those days in solitary confinement – even though he was never charged with a crime.

Browder, who was just 16-years-old at the time of his arrest for allegedly stealing a backpack, was stuck on Rikers Island because he couldn’t make the $10,000 bail.

Tragically, in June of 2015, just two years after his release, with no charges ever filed, Kalief Browder committed suicide due to the ongoing depression and mental anxiety he suffered from serving on Rikers Island, one of the nation’s toughest prisons.

According to Jay Z, he met Kalief Browder before his death and attempted to inspire him.

“So he comes to the office and I just wanted to give him some encouragement,” Jay Z told the crowd during a screening of the documentary at the Sundance Film Festival yesterday (June 25).

“He told me he was going to community college and I was very encouraged by his story,” Jay Z continued. “He was, at the time, what I viewed to be okay. I looked at this young kid, and I was in awe of his strength. That he was standing there, he was proud, he was sitting up straight, he was talking, he was laughing.”

Jay said that tragedy struck, not long after his meeting with Kalief.

Jay revealed that after the meeting Kalief Browder, he went on tour, and while he was on the road, he received the tragic news that Kalief Browder had taken his own life.

Jay, who had already inked his deal with Harvey Weinstein’s The Weinstein Co., saw Obama speaking on the tragedy on TV and was inspired to take action.

“Everything started happening in a way where I was like, oh, he’s a prophet. His life was meant to make sure other kids don’t have to go through this same thing,” Jay-Z said during the Q&A.

“TIME: The Kalief Browder Story” will debut on Spike TV later this year.

Kurtis Blow Denounces His Portrayal In New Edition Movie

(AllHipHop News) At one point, pioneering emcee Kurtis Blow was the undisputed King of Rap and he is still regarded as one of the best. However, a portrayal in the BET New Edition movie has raised the ire of legendary Hip-Hop artist.

The New Edition movie has been a highly rated television event, which chronicles the rise of the boys-to-men group that originally hailed from Boston.

In the movie, there is a moment where the rapper is extremely coarse to the five young singers, who were fans of the New Yorker.

On Twitter, Kurtis Blow sharply objected to how he was depicted, calling it “alternative facts.”

“Word of the day is – Alternative facts by New Edition!!!” the rapper tweeted.

In the scene, Kurtis Blow was asked to open for New Edition, which he flatly declined and also refused to sign an autograph for the young R&B talents. Kurtis Blow didn’t fully deny parts of the scene happened, but took exception to many portions, particularly a swipe at the Nation of Islam.

See how all played out on Twitter below. An Instagram post expounding was deleted.

Did Meek Mill Just Destroy Soulja Boy More?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Soulja Boy is not having the best year ever. Meek’s started out tough but, SB’s is close to taking all L’s. If you didn’t know SB was recently busted for having a COP’S GUN?

ANYWAY, we can assume that SB is straight trolling Meek with this one.

But, is that Meek? It has been theorized that that’s not Meek responding at all. It is clearly Soulja Boy, but does Meek have SnapChat? I don’t think he does.

Is Azealia Banks Flat Broke & Begging For Money To Pay Her Bills?

(AllHipHop Rumors) We knew her mind was gone, but we weren’t so sure if her funds were too.

Word on the street is that once rapper, and troubled soul, Azealia Banks is currently dead broke and begging people to pay her bills.

I really feel bad for her because it’s no joke when you can’t pay your bills. Because she already has mental health issues, financial stress isn’t going to make it any better.

RZA already revealed that she begs for money as he had to take care of her simple expenses when he tried to save her azz when he went against everyone else’s warnings.

One of her former friends, who is probably also mentally ill, Dencia even revealed that she has had to pay bills for Azealia, including psychiatric bills!

What’s crazy is Dencia has called Azealia racist, but she clearly hates herself as she’s the Queen of the skin bleaching kits. They say birds of a feather….

We’ve seen too may cases of celebrities who have gone broke so this is sad!

Maybe her European or South American fans will donate because remember she said that she’s done with Americans. Well actually all of her fans are done with her as she’s dissed the gays, Europeans, and Brazilians. If Azealia never even became a big star, she certainly could’ve still had the UK and her LGBT fans, but she blew it!

It’s hard to believe that at one point this woman was one of the hottest up-and-coming female emcees as well as a muse to fashion designers.

It’s a shame that she won’t get help and has gotten herself blacklisted in the industry. It’s crazy unfortunate because while most are trying to get on, Azealia blocked her own blessings.

We’ve seen many successful people loose everything due to mental illness issues and their affect on their lives as a whole. I hope she gets the help she needs. Meanwhile can yall start her a GoFundMe page and get her committed?!

Migos TakeOff Certainly Wasn’t Feeling “Bad & Boujee” This Day!

(AllHipHop Rumors) You good TakeOff? Blink twice if you need help.

It looks like it was just one of those days for Mr. TakeOff. It also looks like there may be some discordance in Migos as TakeOff has looked like he is completely OVER IT lately.

They better have given this man some verses on this ‘Culture’ album! Lol. We know he has some, but still. LOL.

Honestly I forgot that TakeOff wasn’t on the Migos’ hit “Bad & Boujee” featuing Lil Uzi Vert, until I saw this recent clip of Migos performing it in front of members of what I believe were the press.

In the clip, TakeOff doesn’t rap, dance… hell he barely is moving. Some fans have speculated that there may be trouble in the group that is leaving him salty. Others have speculated that maybe he just didn’t get his “fix” that day.

Maybe he’s just tired of having to put energy into a song that he isn’t on. I’m sorry but like most, I find this clip hilarious.

What do you think TakeOff is thinking in this clip? In all fairness, at least he was decent on “Casting Call” & “T-Shirt”.

Since the song is so hot now, and Lil Uzi obviously won’t be able to perform every show with them, do you think they should have an alternate version for TakeOff with a new verse that he can rap?

I honestly think he may have just been over doing a bootleg performance in front of some people with their phones out. He has been acting strange in interviews though also. TakeOff you better not try to leave the group! Lol!

Lil Wayne Has How Many Unreleased Tracks With Juelz Santana?

(AllHipHop Rumors) It looks like we may be lucky enough to get some new heat from Wayne and Juelz!

According to Juelz Santana, he and Lil Wayne have recorded at least 20 unreleased tracks together.

As you know, Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter V’ is one of the most anticipated albums of this year.

Cool of Cool & Dre previously revealed that he’d been in the studio cooking up with Wayne, and Now Juelz says he and Wayne have so many tracks together that still haven’t even seen the light! It makes me wonder will he drop any this year.

Santana sat down with Complex where he detailed his forthcoming “comeback”. Juelz revealed that he lost a good amount of their collaborative music back in 2011 when he was arrested on drug and weapon charges.

“When the police raided my studio, I had about 100 records. I had my hard drive back I had nothing. Sh-t was erased. I think I got a couple more records left for Wayne we didn’t put out from that time but a lot of records were on that hard drive.”

“Wayne may still have the records. He would send me his verse, I would send him my verse,” said Juelz.

Unfortunately Juelz lost his studio during his legal trouble. He considered it to be a major loss also because the studio was home to many recording artists.

While I know that some may argue that the music may sound a little bit dated, I’d still love to hear it. I bet you its 100 times better than most of today’s music.

Juelz maintains that he and Wayne are still very close, and they could drop a project right now. Do you think Juelz will be on ‘Tha Carter V’? Would you like to seem them drop a mixtape together?

Common Says Hollywood Is Becoming More Diverse For Minorities

(AllHipHop News) Piles of snow and freezing weather could not keep Hip-Hop star Common away from the Sundance Film Festival to promote his new film, “Burning Sands.”

Common is serving as executive producer of “Burning Sands,” which centers around “Hell Week” on a college campus, where a pledge must honor the frat code, or fight against the violence of underground hazing.

The movie stars Trevor Jackson, Alfre Woodard, Serayah, Nafessa Williams and others.

During an interview with the Hollywood Reporter at Sundance, Common said he believed the timing for movies like “Burning Sands,” since Hollywood is making a push to diversify the images shown on screen.

“I think we’re in a great place,” Common told The Hollywood Reporter. “I think the world is already ready for it, ready to see just diversity. As human beings on the base level, we connect with each other. I think we’re seeing films that are showing [at Sundance].”

Common’s observations about diversity are correct.

This year, seven of the 20 actors nominated for an Academy Award are nonwhite. Compare that to last year (2016), where there were no actors of color represented at all.

A full backlash ensued, which created the hashtag #OscarsSoWhite.

Academy Awards President Cheryl Boone Isaacs, who is an African-American, announced sweeping changes to ensure diversity amongst the films nominated in the future.

And earlier this week, it was announced that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith were teaming with the Sundance Institute to help encourage diversity amongst independent filmmakers and artists.

“I think we’re making a statement without having to preach,” Common said of filmmakers like Pharrell Williams and Jay Z, just two of the rappers who have big films premiering at Sundance during the annual festival.

“Everything doesn’t have to be only protests…because it’s about us understanding each other. It’s about us understanding as human beings,” Common explained. “For us as viewers to get the experience we see in ‘Burning Sands,’ we get a better understanding of what it is to be a young, black man growing up trying to find himself.”

“Burning Sands,” is slated to premiere on Netflix this March. The movie stars Trevor Jackson, Alfre Woodard, Serayah, Nafessa Williams and others.
