(AllHipHop Rumors) It looks like Kanye West forgot that he was supposed to be taking a much needed break to get his health together.
Despite the fact that Ye was checked into the hospital for depression, paranoia, dehydration, and exhaustion, Yeezy Yeezy was still trying to get that work done.
Ye said you gotta keep the lights on and food on the table. Perhaps this speaks to the workaholic in a lot of us.
According to USMagazine, Kanye West was trying his hardest to record new music, and look over new sketches for his fashion lines while hospitalized.
“Kanye keeps wanting to work. At the hospital, he requested that recording equipment be brought to the hospital so he can record in his bed. And he has kept asking to see sketches of his fashion lines, said an inside source.”
The source says that Kim Kardashian has been trying to get Kanye to rest and not focus on his work. Hopefully Yeezy will decided to rest at home now that he’s been released from the hospital.

(AllHipHop News) Rap group Run The Jewels have announced the release date and tracklisting for the highlight anticipated third album RTJ3.
Killer Mike and El-P’s latest release will hit the Internet on January 13, while physical copies of the album will drop internationally, on January 20.
A number of artists assist the duo on their third album, including Trina, Danny Brown, Tunde Adebimpe of TV On The Radio and others.
The group’s signature pistol and fist imagery on the album’s artwork were sculptured, photographed and turned into 3D images for the cover of RTJ3.
“For us, the RTJ1 hands were about ‘taking what’s yours’ – your world, your life, your attitude. The RTJ2 hands were wrapped in bandages, signifying injury and healing, which for us represented the growth in ideas and tone of that album. For RTJ3 the bandages are off, the chain is gone and the hands have been transformed into gold. For us this represents the idea that there is nothing to take that exists outside of yourself. You are the jewel.”
Take a look at the artwork and RTJ3 artwork below:

Authorities have not been able to locate Jackson, and now Crime Stoppers in Houston is hoping a $15,000 reward will incentivize someone to come forward with information on Jackson’s whereabouts.
Tavona Glover was Jackson’s former girlfriend, and they shared a two-year-old child together.

(AllHipHop News) There appears to be a legal fracture taking place within the Wu-Tang Clan.
According to TMZ, Wu member U-God is suing the rest of the group and its de facto leader RZA for $2.5 million.
The website reports:
In the docs filed in NYC, U-God says he’s contributed to about 170 tracks for the group since its inception in 1993 … but says he hasn’t been getting his share of royalties off 12 Wu-Tang albums, for at least the last 6 years.
U also says his Wu contract requires him to get 2 annual payments for his share of merchandising dough, but says he’s been cut off from that too.
U-God is seeking a full accounting of Wu-Tang’s revenue streams.
The legendary rap collective released A Better Tomorrow in 2014.
A year later, the one-of-a-kind LP Once Upon A Time In Shaolin was sold for a reported $2 million.

(AllHipHop Rumors) Diddy is HERE and he ain’t going nowhere. In fact, he is so here that he’s apparently aligned himself with the legendary female sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha. Depending on what you know about fats and sororities, you heard of the MIAKA’s. MIAKA stands for MEN INTERESTED IN AKA. Now, there has been some sever distortions of what a MIAKA is and a simple google search of that will show what I mean. Diddy, honestly seems to be just wearing some fly gear, but he throws up the AKA sign and even “Skee-Wee’d” for the sisters! That’s going to get a reaction FAST. So here you go:

The MIAKA Nation seems to be very please with this new development.
(AllHipHop News) Former Young Money r#### Lil Twist has been sentenced for attacking Nickelodeon star Chris Massey.

Lil Twist must turn himself into authorities by February 3. In 2014, Twist broke into Kyle Massey’s apartment, stole a Rolex watch and subsequently fought Chris with brass knuckles.
Twist seemed to take a decidedly spiritual and positive approach to the matter on social media.
Just left court . TMZ bout to break the news I'm sho!! It's over but not really, GOD got me !! 🙌🏾

(AllHipHop Rumors) 21 Savage was savagely beat down in Arizona and knocked out in the fine state of Arizona. “Fine” is relative since they have been known to be extremely racist there. Anybody that does like it, feel free to defend the state in the comments section. Anyway, there is nothing racist about what happened to 21 Savage there. Apparently, some Crips paid to go to the show and whooped on the Atlanta alleged Blood. Now, that’s savage.
Now, video has emerged to show what happened on that fateful day.
By the way, 21 Savage dnies all of the allegations presented above.

What do you think now?
Post Malone stopped by Hot 97 and discussed a number of things, including how he met Kanye West.
In a season dealing with a lot of big societal issues such as classism, racism, and prescription drug dependency, “Empire” Season 3, Episode 6, “What We May Be,” is a pared down return to a simpler more universal kind of pain. With it’s focus being a dramatic elegy for parental figures lost too soon, starting with Nessa’s brother and then Cookie’s sad history with her father, the musical selections are as structurally on point as they are emotionally moving. In an inspired slow reveal, the two musical selections, Jamal’s “Oh Mama” and Nessa’s “Heart Of Stone,” are brought out gradually with continuous changes over the course of the episode. The result? Both pieces develop haunting lives of their own while gathering more steam and collaborative flourish with every sample. If anyone had any doubt about who would be the female flip side to Jamal’s more meditative music (as Tiana is a thematic female complement to Hakeem’s more demonstrative versus contemplative music), this week it becomes clear that Nessa, as played by Sierra McClain is Empire’s female artist with a deeper shade of soul.
While all of this loss is done beautifully in “What We May Be,” in fair fashion, “Empire” doesn’t forget that too much sadness makes “Empire” a dull watch. To remedy any overdose of too much seriousness Phylicia Rashad makes her literal grand “Empiric” entrance as Angelo DuBois’ imposing and politically connected mother Diana DuBois. Ms. Rashad is more magnificent than anyone could have hoped as the gold standard for cultured elegance, wit and grace with bite. Watching Cookie alternately jump through hoops and knock back barbs from her boyfriend’s mother “Meet The Parents” style makes for some genuinely funny high-low humor. However, to the “Empire” writers’ credit, things do not end acrimoniously between Diana and Cookie. When Diana shares with Cookie that the DuBois family wealth started from bootlegging, suddenly in a few lines Diana’s character elegantly sidesteps annoying stereotypes about the existence of insurmountable differences between old money and new money within America’s African American community.
To return to a more throughal examination of the music, Jamal’s “Oh Mama” which incorporates visuals from Cookie’s childhood as a sort of “musical museum” that Jamal is creating for his mother is a very clever thematic mash up of Tupac Shakur’s “Dear Mama” as reconceived with a Marvin Gaye/ Raphael Saadiq sensibility. Given these comparisons as laid out here, it’s a special event. As for Nessa’s “Heart Of Stone, “with the aid of some superlative lyrics coupled with a bang out collaboration with Freda Gatz, McClain once again puts on a clinic when it comes to what a real vocalists can do.
The one lone sour note of “What We May Be” is fixable but troubling if it is a harbinger of future episodes. The product placement of Alexa and Lincoln Continental was so heavy handed in episode 6 that it actually stopped the flow of the story when introduced. The number of times that Porsha said the word “Alexa” in her one scene with Cookie would have entered drinking game territory had that scene been any longer. In similar fashion, the overblown beauty shot treatment given to Andre’s Lincoln Continental when he shows up at Shine and Nessa’s party is just way over the top. However, barring these missteps “What We May Be,” may be one of the best episodes of Season 3.
“Empire” airs Wednesdays at 9:00/8:00 central on FOX.
(AllHipHop News) Kanye West has been released from the hospital after entering a UCLA Medical Center “for his own health and safety.”
The rapper went in on November 21 and a number of theories have been circulating why he admitted himself to the medical facility.
Initially, TMZ reported a doctor told the news organization that the rapper suffered from “temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration.”
Since then, there have been many rumors and speculative notions behind why Kanye West put himself in the hospital. In October, his wife Kim Kardashian got robbed in Paris and his step brother reported says that impacted the rap singer greatly.
Hal Carmichael, the relative, has chimed in to the UK Sun.
“No one thought Paris would happen in a million years and now he’s seen it happen to Kim, it’s traumatizing.”
“Ye is tired, he’s hurt, he feels betrayed and he’s probably feeling depressed.”
“It’s like who can he trust? You can’t trust anyone, even the people you’ve been paying to protect you. They haven’t been doing their jobs correctly.”“I think Kanye got to a point when he was fearing for his life and for his family’s safety because of what went down in Paris – I think it took a toll on him. He ends up walking about worrying and thinking, who’s going to do what to me?”

Rapper Desiigner has been cleared of all charges relating to a recent drug and weapons arrest in New York City. The Panda hitmaker, real name Sidney Royel Selby III, was taken into custody in September (16) after he and four friends were involved in an alleged road rage incident. Reports suggested the group had screamed at the driver of another car, who called the police and claimed Desiigner had pointed a gun at him. Cops tracked down the hip-hop star’s vehicle and during a search, they reportedly found a large amount of loose pills, including Oxycontin. Desiigner and his pals were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell. The 19-year-old MC was also slapped with counts of criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing for allegedly brandishing a gun at the other driver. The rapper’s lawyers were quick to blast authorities for the headline-grabbing bust, insisting the friend driving the car had a prescription for the pills, and revealing no firearm was ever found on Desiigner or in the car. As a result, the charges of criminal possession of a loaded weapon, menacing, and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell were promptly dismissed by the District Attorney, and on Tuesday (29Nov16), the final count for possession of a controlled substance was also dismissed.

R&B superstar The Weeknd has set a new record for the most plays of his tracks in a single day on streaming service Spotify. The musician, real name Abel Tesfaye, racked up the record numbers on Friday (November 25), the day his new album Starboy was released. Monte Lipman, the co-founder of The Weeknd’s label Republic Records hailed the achievement, as he told Billboard magazine, “Spotify’s continued support of The Weeknd has now reached historic proportions and also reinforces the tremendous growth of global streaming.” Streams of tracks on Starboy, which feature contributions from Daft Punk, Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar, helped the 26-year-old unseat previous record holder Justin Bieber, whose music was streamed 36 million times on 13 November last year. Exact details of how many times the “Can’t Feel My Face” singer’s tracks were played are yet to be released by Spotify bosses.

(AllHipHop Rumors) It looks like fans just refuse to let AubRih go!
It looked like Drake and Rihanna were going strong again before and after the MTV VMAs after years of on-and-off flings.
Rumors hit that Drake was hooking back up with Serena Williams, and that his new boo was Insta-bae-turned-reality star India Love.
Once it seemingly was confirmed that India Love was riding on Drake’s tour bus from city to city, RiRi seemed to get ghost on us and this alleged relationship with the 6 God.
Well, Drake and Rihanna were in Abu Dhabi this week for the Grand Prix. Many believed that Drake was there so that they could perform their collaborative hits together, but this simply wasn’t the case.
According to MirrorOnline,
“Rihanna was an hour late to the stage and didn’t impress us too much. It was like she didn’t want to be here. We were so gutted she didn’t bring out Drake especially as he was already in the country. It just doesn’t make sense that they wouldn’t duet together.”
That’s wild that they would be in the same place and failed to perform their hits together. Then again, when people are in their feelings, things can get cancelled.
Do you think they were secretly hooking up, or do you believe they are completely done with each other?
