Iggy Azalea Claims She’s “Only Parent” To Her Son With Playboi Carti

Iggy Azalea is opening up about her relationship with her son’s father Playboi Carti, claiming she’s the only parent in their son’s life.

The Australian artist previously described her relationship with the rapper as “volatile.” According to Azalea, she left when their son Onyx was just three weeks old because she wanted to break the “toxic cycle.”

During the latest episode of the Dinner’s On Me podcast Iggy Azalea referred to herself as a “single mother,” and said there’s no co-parenting arrangement.

“I’m very much the only parent, no disrespect, but yes, I am not co-parenting really, and that’s just the reality of it,” she explained.

Later in the podcast, Azalea said her priorities have shifted to center around her four-year-old son.  “I no longer want to be traveling around everywhere. I want to take my son to school,” she said, adding, “I want him to have memories with me and give him that time. It’s really important to me.”

Iggy Azalea Didn’t Want Their Son To Be Exposed To Volatile Relationship With Playboi Carti

Last February, Iggy Azalea shed light on what led to her split from Playboi Carti. According to the “Fancy” hitmaker, she upped and left one day following a dispute and never looked back.

“I had something happen one day with my son’s father and me and it was just like one of those moments where you’re just like, I didn’t wake up thinking this is what my day would be,” Azalea recalled. “But by the end of the day, I was on a plane to Los Angeles and I never went back. And that was the end of it.”

She added, “In that moment that I had on that day, I was like, ‘I will never let my son see this because I don’t want him to see someone talk to me this way, ’cause I don’t want him to ever learn this, I don’t want him to be exposed to this.’”

Wiz Khalifa Reacts To Uncensored Amber Rose & Joseline Hernandez Fight Footage

Wiz Khalifa was unaware his ex-wife and son’s mother, Amber Rose has hands!

On Wednesday (July 24) uncensored footage of the fight between Amber Rose and Joseline Hernandez on BET College Hill: Celebrity Edition surfaced online. While the episode featuring the clip aired last year, the actual fight was never broadcast.

Clips of the moments leading up to the fight have been going viral recently following Rose’s support of Donald Trump. In the episode, Hernandez accused Rose of wanting to be a white girl and refusing to embrace her Blackness.

In the uncensored footage, Amber Rose swings on Joseline Hernandez and lands several more blows before they’re pulled apart.

“Damn,” Wiz Khalifa wrote, reacting to the clip on Instagram. “My BM got squabbles.”

Both women spoke about the fight before the video surfaced online. Hernandez refused to name names when she discussed the altercation on Drink Champs last year. The reality TV star claimed a woman tried to “attack her” but she put her “head through that glass.”

During an Interview with Jason Lee, Amber Rose said she had to hit Hernadez “with a eight-piece” after she called her “white girl.”

Amber Rose faced intense criticism after her speech at the 2024 Republican National Convention earlier this month. Her support for Donald Trump raised eyebrows following her women’s rights activism and work championing the s### walk. She also previously branded Trump a “sexual predator.”

Travis Scott Could Be Working With Lamborghini After Besting Taylor Swift’s Ticket Sales In Italy

Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack imprint could be joining forces with Lamborghini for a collaboration, according to multiple sources.

Rumors of the potential collab began swirling after Scott’s massive show in Milan, where at least 80,000 fans attended his Circus Maximus Tour. Additionally, video emerged of what appears to be a group of Lamborghini factory workers swarming the “Meltdown” rapper and snapping selfies with him inside of a what looks like a factory facility.

Scott also posted a photo of what can only be described as the section of an assembly line where door panels are assembled to his Instagram Story with the caption, “Momma I made it.”

While there are no details on what the collaboration could exactly entail, it seems like the timing is perfect considering Scott has also now reportedly sold more tickets in Italy than Taylor Swift. Multiple reports confirm he’s sold as many as 200,000 tickets to date, which makes him the first American rap artist to sell 200,000 tickets in a year across three shows in Italy.

Scott is currently in the midst of the 2024 Europe/UK leg of his record-breaking Circus Maximus Tour, which also blazed through 44 sold-out dates across North America in 2023 and early 2024. It also became the highest-grossing rap tour in the process. The tour has since gone on to gross nearly $27 million, with more than 270,000 attendees across the first 11 dates of the Europe/U.K. leg.

Travis Scott announced even more dates for his record-breaking Circus Maximus Tour following his insane show in Milan. Of the dates he announced, a special one-night-only show in New Jersey at MetLife stadium appears to be one of the final dates of the tour in the U.S.

EXCLUSIVE: Inside Source Refutes Claim Diddy Hired Tupac Shakur’s Assassin

Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to confront old allegations about conspiracy in Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder, claims which sources close to the investigation dismiss as baseless.

Those close to the ongoing trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis have blasted a new report from the U.S. Sun claiming that Diddy ordered the assassination of Tupac Shakur.

According to the story, Diddy was implicated in new court documents for allegedly paying $1 million to Davis, who was arrested last year in connection to the killing. However, a source closely involved in the investigation disputes these new allegations, maintaining that no new evidence has been presented and that there’s no ongoing inquiry implicating Diddy.

The anonymous source claims “any suggestion of an indictment for Mr. Combs is irresponsible and unfounded.”

Diddy has never been a suspect and the recent claims are seen as inconsistent and lacking in credibility. The source added, “The notion that prosecutors have evidence that Diddy paid Davis is categorically false and defamatory.”

However, claims against Diddy have resurfaced periodically over the years. After a 2008 Los Angeles Times article implicating him—which was later retracted due to unreliable sources and fake FBI documents—Diddy emphatically denied he had anything to do with the murder.

“This story is beyond ridiculous and completely false,” Diddy previously told AllHipHop‘s Founder, Grouchy Greg Watkins. “Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself.”

The persistent rumors are seen as attempts to tarnish Diddy’s reputation rather than bring new facts to light.

“There is no new or active investigation involving Mr. Combs, and these allegations have been thoroughly debunked over the past three decades,” the source emphasized.

The accusations against Diddy stem largely from the statements of Davis, who has a long history of discussing his criminal activities, including in a 2009 police interview. His reliability as a witness has often been called into question.

Boosie Badazz Calls Federal Prosecutor “Racist” After He’s Indicted On Same Felony

Boosie Badazz’s legal troubles appear to have resurfaced, despite a federal judge’s dismissal of his felony gun case just weeks ago.

The Baton Rouge rap veteran has found himself in legal turmoil once again, except this time while on vacation with his family, Boosie received unexpected news from his lawyer about a new indictment. According to Boosie, the indictment comes from federal prosecutor “M. Wheat” who had previously charged him with the same felony gun possession that was dismissed by a federal judge. In a lengthy tweet, Boosie expressed his disbelief and frustration with the new indictment.

“I’M ON VACATION WITH MY FAMILY MY LAWYER CALL ME N SAY THIS FEDERAL PROSECUTOR M. WHEAT HAS INDICTED ME AGAIN ON THE SAME CHARGE N ADDED A CHARGE THAT I WAS A DRUG ATTACK AROUND,” Boosie Badazz stated. “A ATTACK AROUND A FIREARM SMH.”

Boosie then questioned the timing and motivation behind the new charges. He also went a step further and accused the prosecutor of being racist and having a personal vendetta against him, describing it as an attempt to hinder a successful Black man with a voice.

“WHY YOU DIDNT CHARGE ME WITH THAT THE FIRST TIME?” he wrote. “THE JUDGE HAS RULED. AT THIS POINT YOU MAKING THIS A CIRCUS. THIS HAS TO BE UNCONSTITUTIONAL. THIS SHOWS HOW FAR THESE DEVILS WILL GO TO TRY N STOP A SUCCESSFUL BLACK MAN WITH A VOICE. THIS MAN HAS A SERIOUS VENDETTA OF HATE AGAINST ME.

“HE WANTS TO BE A CHARACTER N A FILM. HE JUST DOESNT RESPECT THE COURTS. HE RACIST N HAS NO RESPECT FOR THE COURTS‼️IF I WASNT BOOSIE THIS WOULD NOT BE HAPPENING TO ME.”

Boosie also shared a startling anecdote about his first court appearance, remarking, “THIS SAME MAN LOOKED AT ME SAID ‘WIPE ME DOWN’ ON MY FIRST COURT APPEARANCE lol HES OBSESSED. IVE NEVER SEEN NOTHING LIKE THIS N MY DAM LIFE.”

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Boosie Badazz concluded by reflecting on the recent turn of events, which he believes he will persevere through the strength of God.

“30 of us ON VACATION N I GET THIS NEWS ‼️” he wrote. “HE PUT HIS HARDEST BATTLES ON HIS STRONGEST SOUJAS ‘GOD GOT ME’. THIS MAN DOSENT RESPECT THE LAW. TELL A PRESIDENT PARDON THIS B####### #justiceforboosie.”

The origins of Boosie Badazz’s legal troubles trace back to earlier this year when he was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The case was dismissed by a federal judge, which Boosie believed had put an end to the matter. However, the new indictment suggests otherwise, adding a charge related to drugs in proximity to a firearm.

The rapper’s legal battles are not new. Boosie Badazz, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, went to prison in 2009 on drug charges, including third-offense possession of marijuana. In 2011, he was additionally charged with first-degree murder, but he was acquitted in 2012.

He remained incarcerated for his drug charges until his release in March 2014. During his time in prison, he faced various other charges related to drug smuggling, which were eventually dropped.

Tink Addresses Working On “Winter’s Diary 5” Album With Hitmaka Amid Tumultuous Break Up

Tink has opened up about the process of crafting her latest album with Hitmaka following their public breakup last year.

During her recent interview with The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 FM, the “Playa” lyricist spoke in depth about her relationship with Hitmaka. For context, Tink was accused of physically abusing Hitmaka last year after alleging he had abused her, as well.

The pair were also allegedly involved in an altercation in Mexico after they reportedly showed up to the same restaurant in Cancun, unbeknownst to each other. Tink started off by explaining how there was much more at stake than just their shared personal lives at the time of the breakup, revealing they were actually legally binded at the point they decided to separate.

“Yeah, I had to take the emotion out of it, and we were already in a contract, so there were obligations, and that’s what I think the world doesn’t know,” Tink said. “We already had ties and things were already in motion. So like I say, it took a lot of maturity to say, ‘Hey, I’m going to go in this booth. I’m going to do my best today.’

“You know what I’m saying? Whatever I can give. If it’s 10 percent, 20 percent, that’s the best I can give. And that’s also why it did take some time. I needed time away to get my mind together. I can’t look at you today. I can’t be around you listening to what you want to say right now.”

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Tink then debunked the idea that the album itself was solely about Hitmaka, explaining that while some of the subject matter may relate to their relationship, it’s meant to be widely accessible to people at large who may be dealing with similar relationships.

“I feel like the entire album is, could relate to him or to any man,” she said. “You know what I mean? I purposely waited to drop this album so that it wasn’t 14 songs about one person.

“But in this situation, if you know our history, we went through a lot of turmoil. So there’s a bit of him in a lot of these records, and he knows that we worked on the album together,” she added.

Tink went on to reveal that the process of refining the album itself was difficult at times, remarking it “took a lot of maturity for me to get in that booth and for us to come to agreement on these songs.” She added, “We had hard days where he had to walk out. That’s just what it is.”

Overall, Tink went on to conclude that she is trying to move on at this point, but wholeheartedly wishes the best for Hitmaka and said that she really does “wish him the best” but truly needs to move forward.

On the other hand, Tink is had a lot to talk about between discussing Winter’s Diary 5 features, which include collaborations with artists like Summer Walker, Jeremih, Skilla Baby and NoCap and notable singles “Songs About U” and “Charged Up.” Tink is also currently supporting Jhené Aiko on her Magic Hour Tour, which began in June and concludes in August, and features Coi Leray, Kiana Ledé and UMI.

Wiz Khalifa Welcomes His Second Child, First With Aimee Aguilar

Wiz Khalifa’s girlfriend Aimee Aguilar gave birth to a baby girl named Kaydence. Aguilar disclosed their daughter’s birth in a TikTok video posted on Tuesday (July 23).

“I gave birth exactly a week ago today, so I am a week postpartum,” she said.

Aguilar revealed her daughter’s arrival in a “postpartum stomach update.” Wiz Khalifa’s girlfriend told TikTok viewers she was still taking it easy after going through labor.

“I ended up tearing,” she said. “So during my pregnancy, or during the labor, and I pushed her out, I tore. So, I have stitches down there, so I think I’m going to wait another week or two before I start doing anything strenuous on my body.”

Wiz Khalifa and Aguilar welcomed their baby girl within days of his arrest for smoking weed on stage at a music festival in Romania. Recreational use of cannabis is illegal in the country. He apologized via social media on July 14.

“Last night’s show was amazing,” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “I didn’t mean any disrespect to the country of Romania by lighting up on stage. They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But without a big ass joint next time.”

Wiz Khalifa’s baby girl is his second child. He shares a son with his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose.

Rose recently stoked controversy by publicly supporting Donald Trump. She spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on July 15.

PnB Rock Murder Trial: Defense Attempts To Put Full Blame On Teen Shooter

Los Angeles County jurors heard opening statements in the PnB Rock murder trial on Tuesday (July 24). The jury will decide whether Freddie Trone and Tremont Jones were responsible for the late rapper’s 2022 shooting death.

Trone’s son, the alleged shooter, will be tried separately due to his age. He was 17 years old at the time of the deadly incident. According to Rolling Stone, he is scheduled for a competency hearing in juvenile court on Friday (July 26).

Prosecutors claim Jones tipped off Trone to PnB Rock dining at Roscoe’s Chicken ‘N Waffles in South Los Angeles on the day of the shooting. Trone allegedly drove his son to the restaurant and sent the teen inside with a gun to rob the rapper. The gunman fatally shot PnB Rock before fleeing the scene. Trone attempted to torch and ditch the getaway car.

Trone pleaded not guilty to murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony. His attorney conceded he was guilty of accessory after the fact but placed the rest of the blame on Trone’s son.

“You will hear no evidence that he planned this with his son,” Trone’s lawyer Winston McKesson told the jury. “That he instructed his son to do this or he egged him on. They will have evidence that my client did help his son cover this up. We’re not disputing that. What we’re saying is the gunman acted alone.”

Jones pleaded not guilty to robbery, conspiracy and being a felon in possession of a firearm. His lawyer raised questions about the prosecution’s evidence against Jones.

“All of this is guesswork,” Jones’ attorney Davis Haas argued. “All guesswork, and when you can’t put your finger on specific words or specific actions, we call that a finding of not guilty.”

Trone’s wife Shauntel avoided trial by accepting a plea deal. She was charged with accessory after the fact for her role in PnB Rock’s death.

Donald Trump Had Ridiculous Plan To Unify America With Kanye West’s Help

Alyssa Farah Griffin, former White House communications director during Donald Trump’s administration, recalled one of his more foolish ideas as president on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Farah Griffin said Trump once pitched a Kanye West-led church service on the White House lawn to unite America.

“This is gonna be dark,” Farah Griffin explained. “To be honest, one day, he wanted to have Kanye West come and do a church service on the White House lawn to unify the country. And I can think of few things less unifying than that. We were like, ‘Not the time or place, sir.’”

Trump is running for president once again. If he wins, he will be the first convicted felon to be elected president. The Republican candidate was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in May. His sentencing was delayed until at least September.

President Joe Biden was seeking re-election before dropping out of the race on Sunday (July 21). He endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the Democratic nomination.

“My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden said. “My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.”

Trump attacked Biden and Harris on Truth Social.

“Joe Biden will go down as the Worst President in the history of the United States,” Trump wrote. “KAMALA, OUR HORRIBLE & INCOMPETENT BORDER CZAR, WILL BE WORSE!”

He added, “Does Lyin’ Kamala Harris think Joe Biden is fit to run the U.S.A. for the next six months? She must answer the question. Now it appears Joe is delegating his Presidential Authority to unelected Washington Bureaucrats! He doesn’t even trust his Vice President. WHO IS RUNNING THE COUNTRY?”

Harris has not been officially nominated as the Democratic candidate for president. The nomination process will conclude at the Democratic National Convention in August.

Fivio Foreign Denies Unfollowing Pop Smoke & Charging His Older Brother $10K For Interview

Fivio Foreign is clearing the air regarding allegations that he attempted to charge Pop Smoke’s brother thousands of dollars to do an interview for his podcast.

During a recent Instagram Live, Fivio responded to fans commenting with questions regarding his late rap associate Pop Smoke while previewing several unreleased records. Among the topics he addressed, one in particular stood out, considering it involved disparaging allegations about Fivio from a man claiming to be Pop’s brother.

More specifically, Pop’s older brother Obasi Jackson recently shared a video on TikTok in which he claimed the “City Of God” rapper attempted to charge him $10,000 to do an interview with his podcast Free Mind TV. Though Fivio did not address Jackson by name, he did briefly speak on the allegation against him by aggressively deading off the conversation before it even started.

“Don’t come over here asking me about no goofy Pop Smoke brother that muthaf##king Pop Smoke ain’t never even follow,” Fivio said. “Don’t ask me about none of them goofy muthaf##kas. A lot of these n###as gone have to come outside one day. When y’all come outside I’ll be right there like chicken and beer.”

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

In another portion of the clip from the live, Fivio addresses fan concern that he unfollowed Pop Smoke’s official profile on Instagram. However, instead of responding with the energy of his previous comments, he explained that there is likely a much more understandable and plausible explanation for the situation.

“Y’all talking about a follow, look at this,” Fivio said while pointing to a tattoo on his chest dedicated to Pop. “Look at this. The smoke would never clear off my chest. Y’all talking about a follow. I don’t know. I don’t know how it unfollowed. I know I went through a season of following zero people. I don’t even care. I don’t care. Like, you n###as is talking to me about Instagram.”

Fivio Foreign and the late Pop Smoke were significant figures in the Brooklyn drill music scene, specifically representing the neighborhood of Canarsie. They first connected through their neighborhood ties and quickly recognized each other’s talent, leading to their first collaboration on the track “Sweetheart” from Fivio’s 2019 EP, Pain and Love.

The track garnered millions of streams across various platforms, contributing to both artists’ rising fame. Tragically, Pop Smoke’s burgeoning career was cut short when he was murdered during a home invasion in Los Angeles in February 2020. Fivio appeared on “Demon,” a posthumous collaboration included on Pop Smoke’s album Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon.

ScHoolboy Q Trashes Buffalo Rapper’s “Embarrassing” Music After Unsolicited Attack

Buffalo-based rapper Dom Brown faced the wrath of ScHoolboy Q on Wednesday (July 24). The Top Dawg Entertainment artist posted a scathing review of Brown’s music after the lesser-known rapper criticized Q for not wanting to “relate” to 14-year-old fans.

“Nobody relate to tHis my boy,” Q wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “tHis embarrassing dawg.”

Brown was bothered by views expressed by Q on Kevin Hart’s Gold Minds podcast. The TDE rapper explained why he had no desire to make music that appealed to teens.

“Me personally, I don’t want to relate to kids,” Q told Hart. “At 37 years old, I don’t want a 14 year old like, ‘Aw s###!’ … I just don’t want it. It’s not for me. My lyrics aren’t coming from there. My lyrics are about my life. At 37, I don’t have 13-year-old bars right now. But I can still make you move, don’t get me wrong. Making somebody move is different. I don’t think I should relate to a 14 year old.”

Brown reacted by calling out Q on social media.

“You was 14 listening to older rappers ….. you mad that those 14 year old kids not inspired by you @ScHoolboyQ,” Brown wrote.

The post caught Q’s attention. He found a clip of Brown performing on Daytime Buffalo and ruthlessly mocked the performance.

“Bro i just played tHis for da Homies we f###### crying,” Q wrote. “leave me alone Man I was minding my bizz.. once again tHis is f##### awful & embarrassing. Don’t do tHis nomo it’s scary How un aware u are… don’t do tHis it’s sad.”

A fan thought it would be funny if Q performed Brown’s song at a tour date in New York on Saturday (July 27). The Black Hippy member liked the idea.

“Lokey ima add tHis to tHe list,” he responded.

Q released his latest album Blue Lips in March. It debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200.

Drake Is “Happier” After Kendrick Lamar Battle, Producer Gordo Says: “It’s Pretty Weird”

Drake’s friend and producer Gordo updated fans on the OVO rapper’s state of mind after a highly contentious battle against Kendrick Lamar. The producer formerly known as Carnage claimed Drake is feeling great despite losing to Kendrick. Gordo said Drake moved past the beef.

“Ever since all this has happened… I’ve seen him happier,” Gordo told PEOPLE. “It’s really weird. He’s pretty jolly… The internet makes it seem like, ‘Oh, that photo, he’s all sad and s###.’ That’s just a bad photo from a bad camera. But because it’s him, it’s put under a magnifying glass like, ‘Oh, look at his eyes. He’s looking a little droopy. He hasn’t slept.’ But the guy’s been happy as s###, to be honest. He’s chilling.”

Drake and Kendrick’s long-brewing feud exploded when K. Dot appeared on Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You album in March. Kendrick dissed Drake on the song “Like That,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The chart-topping cut led to Drake and Kendrick exchanging several diss tracks in April and May.

The general public crowned Kendrick the winner largely thanks to his smash hit “Not Like Us.” The diss track crossed over in a way few disses do, becoming Kendrick’s second No. 1 song of the year. It remained Hip-Hop’s biggest hit of 2024.

Kendrick accused Drake of grooming and pedophilia. Drake responded to the allegations with “The Heart Part 6,” but the song failed to dampen the public’s enthusiasm for “Not Like Us.”

Drake and Kendrick haven’t dropped any diss tracks since the release of “The Heart Part 6” in May. Kendrick added insult to injury by performing “Not Like Us” multiple times at a Juneteenth concert livestreamed by Amazon Prime Video. He also dropped a music video for the song on the Fourth of July.

DeMar DeRozan Insists “Drake’s Still My Man,” Despite Appearing In Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” Video

DeMar DeRozan is shedding more light on his role in the video for Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss “Not Like Us,” despite his well-documented friendship with the OVO honcho.

In a new interview with The Sacramento Bee, the newly signed Sacramento Kings small forward has elaborated on his appearance in the video.

“It was fun to be a part of (‘Not Like Us’),” DeRozan explained. “For that moment, it was so much bigger than what people look at it as a beef between (Lamar) and Drake. It brought our whole city together in a different type of light where there wasn’t no issues, no violence. Everybody was coming together in a peaceful manner and that was the beauty out of those moments.”

DeRozan also appeared at K. Dot’s historic Juneteenth concert The Pop Out: Ken & Friends, during a performance of the chart-topper.

DeRozan explained that Kendrick is “basically family,” and says they would do anything for each other.  “When he did the song, he asked me to be a part of it,” he added. “Whatever it is he’s doing, I’m going to be a part of it without a thought. That’s kind of always been our relationship.”

However, DeRozan insisted his ties to Kendrick Lamar don’t affect his relationship with Drake.

“Drake’s still my man, still my man, none of it changed,” DeRozan said. “It’s so easy to get overlooked and look at it for what it looks like, but at the end of the day it’s music, entertainment. Two of the biggest rappers in the world went at it from a competitive standpoint and they battled it out.”

Has Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” Caused Rash Of Sprained Ankles & Busted Knees?

The beef is cooling off, but the effects are long lasting. Are doctors seeing an influx of injuries following the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef? It may not be an epidemic, but AllHipHop has spoken with a Pennsylvania physician, who reported a couple of cases linked to some partying gone awry. Both of these injuries occurred while people were dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” One of them happened recently at a party and an individual tried to Crip Walk (C-Walking). Well, the person wasn’t cool like Dub C.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpGe5ot4Bps

Here’s what the doctor said, “As a physician, I can confirm that such dance-related injuries, while uncommon, are not unheard of. The intricate and vigorous footwork involved in C-Walking can lead to various musculoskeletal injuries.

In one particular case, the patient suffered a sprained ankle and mild knee strain due to improper form and overexertion during the dance.” The other one took place at a Juneteenth party. Why are you C-Walking for Juneteenth? Who knew that you had to have proper form? I sure didn’t.

People, it’s possible to hurt yourself trying to Crip Walk if you do not perform the moves correctly or if you overexert yourself. Leave it to the good folks from Cali, because the Crip Walk involves a lot of precise footwork, among other things. You can get sprained ankles, hurt knees, muscle industries and you can fall. The doctor also gave some clues on what to do to minimize injury.

  1. Warm up before crip walking.
  2. Do not crip walk on slippery surfaces.
  3. Wear the proper footwear. I like Black Forces.
  4. Crip walk slow and get faster as you get better.
  5. If you are older, don’t do it. That does not include W.C. aka Dub C. Snoop is also a master.
  6. Uh…Just Relax Or Don’t!

Vince Staples Appears To Respond To Hip-Hop Twitter Fan Debate Comparing Him To J. Cole

Vince Staples has seemingly responded, begrudgingly at that, to the debate raging on Twitter regarding who the better MC is—himself or J. Cole.

While it’s unclear exactly how the debate started, Twitter (X) users managed to generate enough tweets for both J. Cole and Vince Staples to become trending topics on the platform. From comparing the two rapper’s full discographies to point-for-point contrasting their lyrical styles, the fans on rap Twitter fought tooth and nail over who currently has the more respectable legacy.

However, early on in the debate, the Long Beach rapper appeared to stumble upon the spirited debate upon discovering he was a trending topic, and reacted to the discourse with frustration and overall angst.

“You n##### need jobs,” Vince wrote in the first tweet. He followed up in another, “So passionate about hip hop but I’ve yet to see one of you weird ass n###as break dance.”

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Overall, it’s hard not to sympathize with Vince, considering a multitude of the takes within the debate centered around personal opinion, rather than true constructive criticism of either MC. In fact, one of the early takes that kicked off the entire discourse essentially qualified Vince as a much less capable rapper than J. Cole.

“There’s not a single thing Vince Staples does better than J. Cole,” the user @AllRapTakes wrote in a tweet. “I’d also rather listen to the top half of Cole’s discography over Vince’s (since people wanna use discog as a cop out).”

Another user countered, “Vince makes better albums and comes up with better concepts and unique production.”

Some users theorized the root of the comparisons stem from the lack of respect J. Cole fans have for him as a formidable artist.

“The J. Cole disrespect on this app is unreal. Mfs be saying “I’m a J Cole fan but-” no mf you are not. If you were, you would put some respect on his name and won’t say any random ass n###a clears him “in every aspect,” a user wrote in a tweet.

Other users opted to ring in other rappers to prove a point, including a user who tweeted, “Vince Staples absolutely has a better discography than Cole. So does ScHoolboy. So do a lot of rappers lmao.”

Overall, the entire thing turned into a giant digital pissing match over which artist makes better music, fueled by subjective and watered-down t##-for-tat retorts weaponizing J. Cole and Vince Staple’s discographies.

In a new interview with “Big Boy TV,” Broadus explained to the veteran host what attracted her to Snoop Dogg. According to Broadus, his dark skin and tall good looks first caught her eye, alongside his humor and cool rapper vibe.

“He was funny,” she said before playfully rolling her eyes when Big Boy said, “He still is.”

While Broadus said that Snoop Dogg might come home with “an attitude,” she quickly shuts it down. “It’s cool. I just tell him to shut the hell up and keep it pushing,” she said with a laugh.

Earlier this year, Shanté Broadus launched her strip club, The Players Club, named after Ice Cube’s 1998 film.

“We brought the Players Club to Los Angeles, we’re trying to be the next Magic City,” she explained at the red carpet launch.

Earlier this year, at his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star ceremony, Snoop Dogg revealed how Charlie Wilson helped keep his marriage on track.

“This man right here means the world to me, not just musically but personally,” he explained. “Especially when it comes to me and my wife because there were certain phases in my life where I felt like, ‘I should be by myself, I should do this alone.’”

The Death Row Records boss continued, sharing that the veteran singer “was the only one man enough to pull me to the side and let me know, ‘Don’t blow a good thing. Get back home. You got the greatest woman in the world. You have a family.’”

YFN Lucci Gets Boost For Parole: DA Fani Wills Recommends Early Release

YFN Lucci could soon walk free from prison after the Fulton County DA recommended his early release.

In an interview with WSB-TV on Tuesday (July 23), the Atlanta rapper’s attorney, Drew Findling, shared his surprise that DA Fanni Willis submitted a letter to the State Board of Pardons supporting his early release.

“The District Attorney of Fulton County did the unorthodox,” Findling said. “That letter from the district attorney is a powerful punch and is really at the heart of the letter and supporting documents and the memorandum that we have shared with the parole board.”

Findling is asking for YFN Lucci’s Immediate release subject to completion of relevant courses. However, he acknowledged, “It could be January of 2025.”

In the letter, written June 11, Willis confirmed “the State does not object,” to YFN Lucci’s release “the first time he becomes eligible for parole or after serving one-third of his prison sentence, whichever comes first.”

The recommendation is “conditioned upon the Defendant’s compliance with the lawful authority of all Department of Corrections personnel and having had no incidents of any kind in any facility” while in custody.

Findling believes the evidence wasn’t there to charge YFN Lucci in the first place.

“I think that had he not been well known in the community given the facts and circumstances of this case, he probably would not have been charged,” Findling said. “His biggest priority is his children and his biggest priority is his family.”

Killer Mike Backs YFN Lucci’s Early Release

WSB-TV also report Killer Mike submitted a letter to the Parole Board in support of YFN Lucci’s early release.

YFN Lucci has remained in jail since 2021, when he was charged with racketeering, violating Atlanta’s anti-gang law, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

In January this year, the rapper pleaded guilty as a part of a plea deal and received a 20-year sentence. The judge granted YFN Lucci time served and parole eligibility in about three and a half months from the date of sentencing.

Earlier this week, fellow Atlanta rapper Ralo showed love to Lucci, giving him his flowers in a Facetime jail call. He also promised to take Lucci’s kids back-to-school shopping.

50 Cent Trolls Irv Gotti Over Rumors He’s Jealous Of Nelly & Ashanti’s Relationship

50 Cent refuses to let up on his longtime nemesis Irv Gotti. A week after reacting to reports of a woman suing the Murder Inc. Records co-founder for abuse and sexual assault, 50 Cent mocked Gotti over rumors he’s jealous of former signee Ashanti’s relationship with fiancé Nelly.

Gotti once suggested he had a romantic relationship with the singer, who’s expecting a baby with Nelly. Ashanti denied his claims, and Gotti was ruthlessly trolled after their pregnancy news broke. Netizens revived the memes following the couple’s recent baby shower.

On Tuesday (July 23), 50 Cent hopped on Instagram to share a blog post that claimed Irv Gotti “is so mad” that Nelly got Ashanti pregnant.

“LOL I HAD TO SHARE THIS LMAO,” 50 Cent wrote alongside multiple laughing emojis.

50 Cent Taunts Irv Gotti Over Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Just last week, 50 Cent fired another shot at Irv Gotti in their decades-long feud, posting a report about the lawsuit. He also teased a possible Murder. Inc docuseries.

Oh no,” 50 Cent wrote in the caption. “In a lawsuit filed in Miami-Dade on July 11, a [woman] accuses 54-year-old Gotti (born Irving Domingo Lorenzo) of sexually assaulting and abusing her on several occasions from 2020 to 2022 in Saint Martin, Miami, and Atlanta. The suit seeks a trial by jury.”

According to Fiddy, the lawsuit will cripple Gotti financially as he’s broke.  “(The legal fee’s are gonna break his ass in half, he ain’t got no money),” he added. “Welp that all folks.”

Meanwhile, Irv Gotti has denied the allegations and is considering filing a defamation countersuit. A rep claimed the Jane Doe accuser filed suit “after Mr. Gotti rejected the attempt by this individual to coerce a payment of money from him.”

They added, “The lawsuit contains a single page of ‘facts’ which are unsworn to, sparse by any measure, and which Mr. Gotti categorically denies.”

Plies Says If White Men Won’t Vote For Kamala Harris, They’re The Problem

Plies is hitting back against the narrative that America is not ready to elect a Black woman as President, claiming that if white men aren’t ready, then they’re the problem.

The Florida native never shies away from sharing his political takes, and he’s vocal about his support for Vice President Harris. Plies recently claimed Donald Trump is “scared shitless” now that President Biden is out of the race. He also believes the nation’s racism and sexism will be exposed after the President endorsed Kamala Harris.

Harris now has the support of enough delegates to win the Democratic Party nomination for President. However, many political pundits are asking if white Americans would vote for a Black woman, regardless of how qualified she may be.

However, after hearing the media question, “Is America is there yet,” Plies took to social media to shut down the debate.

“America there yet?” He questioned. “It ain’t about if muthafuckin America there yet. It’s about if we muthafuckin there yet.”

He also addressed the notion that a white man wouldn’t vote for a Black woman. “That’s his muthafuckin business,” he added. “All these muthafuckin years a woman was able to vote for a muthafuckin man, especially a woman of color was able to vote for a white man … now all of a sudden it’s a muthafuckin problem for a white man to vote for a sista? What kind of s### is that? If that’s the case, the sista ain’t the muthafuckin probelm; it’s muthafuckin him.”

He doubled down in the caption, writing, “We AIN’T CANCELING NO MTFING COOKOUT!!! I Know That!!”

In a follow-up tweet, Plies urged Kamala Harris to create a “Black Women’s Day” national holiday if elected. “B/c What The Black Woman Has Done For The Democratic Party & This Country. Can No Longer Be Unappreciated!!” he declared.

In another post, he hit back at attacks on Kamala Harris’ by challenging Donald Trump’s morality.

Black Organizers Raise Millions For Kamala Harris

Along with Plies, at least 53,000 other Black men believe Kamala Harris should be the next President of the United States.

On Monday night, thousands of Black men joined a virtual fundraiser conference hosted by the “Win With Black Men” collective. The group reportedly raised over $1.3 million in just four hours for the Harris campaign.

The conference followed the “Win With Black Women” call, which mobilized over 44,000 Black women in the hours after Biden bowed out of the Presidential race. The group announced they raised over $1.5 million during the call.

Plies’ support for Kamala Harris should come as no surprise. In 2021, the “Shawty’ hitmaker proclaimed, “The Next President In America Should Be A Female!!!!!!”
