Rick Ross Takes Shots At 50 Cent Over Financial Problems?

Photo by Marcus Ingram Getty Images Entertainment

It seems like Rick Ross took shots at 50 Cent on Philthy Rich’s “Wing Stop” remix! Rozay says,

“50 financial woes I never speak on them.”

Is Ross trying to suggest that 50 is indeed experiencing financial troubles or that he wants nothing to do with 50 and doesn’t want to speak on him at all especially with the pending sex tape suit and surrounding suits?

Did Meek Mill Have A Ghostwriter At One Point?

Photo via Meek Mill’s Instagram

Since Meek Mill decided to call Drake out about not writing his own lyrics, we have to wonder did Meek ever use ghostwriters himself? Remember his lyrics in his song “Ain’t Me”:

“You ain’t gotta like my sh*t, paid for the flow , I don’t write my sh*t.”

This leads many to believe that either Meek has used a writer before or he’s saying he gets paid to rap, and he doesn’t physically write down his lyrics (similar to Jay Z.) What are your thoughts?

Azealia Banks Takes Shots At Nicki Minaj Over VMAS Comments?

Photos via Azealia & Nicki’s Instagram

Azealia Banks is always so opinionated and outspoken. She had a lot to say about Nicki Minaj and the BET Awards so it’s not surprising that she has something to say about Nicki & the VMAS. Banks had to be taking shots at Nicki when she said,

“But all you did was show your ass, and ass we’ve all seen plenty of times.”

This tweet came right after Nicki’s rant about being snubbed of nominations in several VMAS categories. Azealia also says that the pop world is a contest of mediocrity. Does she have a point?

Young Thug Is Having Baby Mama Drama?

Photo via Young Thug’s Instagram

It’s always something with Young Thug! This time it seems to be baby mama drama. One of his baby mamas of one of his 11 kids is alleging that he is a deadbeat dad! She asks that someone remind him that he has a child before she pulls up in Dekalb county and messes up all of his foreign cars. Judging by the foreign cars and that lavish mansion the police raided, Thug can cough up those coins! On another note, this is another case of women choosing to be baby mamas for deadbeats. Why would anyone want to have a kid with Young Thug?

Ice Cube And Dr. Dre Talk Suge Knight, Police Brutality And Possible European Tour

N.W.A is not only preparing for the release of their biopic, Straight Outta Compton, but they may also be gearing up to head back out on the road. During a sit down with The Hollywood Reporter, Universal Studios chief executive Donna Langley said it is possible and can help the film promotional wise.

“We don’t have anything settled yet with everyone’s schedules,”Langley said. “But we think it can create a lot of buzz.”

Eminem would fill in for Eazy-E, who died of AIDS in 1995.

Dr. Dre and Ice Cube weighed in on the controversy surrounding Suge Knight, who is currently being charged with murder regarding an incident that happened while filming the commercial for Straight Outta Compton.

“I was there,” Dre said. “But I was just leaving, so I didn’t know what happened until I was halfway home. I heard about it over the phone. Everybody was supportive everywhere we went, and we didn’t have one issue throughout the entire filming of the movie. It’s crazy that this happened during the f—ing filming of the commercial.” He continued, “It’s just a really unfortunate incident. Maybe [Knight] was looking for trouble. I don’t know.”

Cube said that the whole incident shows how volatile life can be living in Los Angeles.

“It’s the dangerous part of living in South Central,” he said. “Some people don’t care if you’re making a movie or not. It’s unfortunate because the movie is so good, so creative, so many talented people involved.”

Ice Cube also discussed how N.W.A’s music is still relevant today when discussing race relations between the African American community and the police.

“It shows that we were not only ahead of our time, but right on time,” the Ride Along star told The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s a constant situation between the powers that be and the neighborhoods we’ve come from. And most of the time you look and you see that it’s a thing where someone is abusing their authority or abusing their power and they’re sh–ting around.”

Producer 40 Shebib Defends Drake, Doesn’t Directly Deny “10 Bands” Ghostwriting Allegations

(AllHipHop News) There are a lot of questions swirling around concerning whether Drake has used other artists to write his raps. The suspicion began when Meek Mill called out the OVO leader on Twitter. Then DJ Funkmaster Flex upped the ante by releasing a “10 Bands” reference track by alleged Drake ghostwriter Quentin Miller.

The leak featured Quentin rapping a near identical verse Drake used on the If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late cut. Despite what appears to be evidence Drizzy used rhymes written by Quen, longtime Drake producer Noah “40” Shebib is defending his partner’s pen game.

40 posted several tweets explaining Drake’s musical skills and writing abilities. One tweet reads, “You’re smokin that sh*t you say you selling if you think someone wrote that sh*t.”

But it was not clear if that tweet was addressing Drake’s music in general or a specific song, so it should be noted the Toronto board master never directly denied Drake lifted his “10 Bands” verse from Quen.

Funk Flex Releases Reference Track Of Quentin Miller Rapping Drake’s “10 Bands” (AUDIO)

(AllHipHop News) Drake may have some explaining to do. DJ Funkmaster Flex has released a reference track of rapper Quentin Miller spitting “10 Bands.” The track is credited as a Drake song on If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late with Que listed as a co-writer.

Miller was thrust into the limelight last night when both Meek Mill and OG Maco claimed the rhymer was more than just co-writing with Drake. They suggested Miller was Drizzy’s full on ghostwriter. From the sound of Flex’s leak, it appears Meek and Maco were telling the truth.

Funk Flex wrote this on Instagram:

We gonna get to the bottom of this…. Incase we forgot… Big, Jay, Nas, Kendrick, J.cole handle the pen… If your mentioned in that list you know what that means!!! Yall other radio TV and bloggers watch this close… If he writes himself then he deserves an apology… If he doesn’t write then he’s a f*cking FRAUD!!! That means them emotions ain’t his…. That means what u claiming is story book…And if this industry is ok with that I understand stand… But where I f*cking come from that’s means you a great record maker but NOT a great lyricist!!!!! Theres a f*cking difference if you claiming king!!! Dr Dre never wrote but we love him the same… But there’s a place for that type of rapper!!! You don’t get mentioned with the greatest!!!! So for people who say it doesn’t matter your wrong !!!! To a lyricist it’s everything.
