Big Sean may make songs about big a#### and how his girlfriend has a billion dollar p***y, but back in the day he was all about waiting until marriage to have sex. He even rapped about it on TV.
Old video of Sean Anderson when he was a member of a group called Yung Boyz is circulating around the interwebs. Sean and friends can be seen rapping about abstinence and not doing drugs during a news broadcast.
The video is obviously from when Sean was a teenager and it was uploaded to YouTube 5 years ago, but users on Reddit have breathed life back into the clip.
“I hope that young people will listen and listen to the lyrics. It’s a really powerful message,” Sean tells the camera. “Too many of these rappers are using sex and drugs to sell. We just wanted to approach it a different way.”
The clip ends with the video for “Abstain” by Sean and the Yung Boyz. “Sex and drugs ain’t funny,” spits a little Big Sean.

(AllHipHop News) The conflict between former close friends Stevie J and Benzino has turned from fights during the taping of a Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion show to lawsuits to diss records. First it was Stevie’s artist Stizz taking shots at Zino on the song “Washed Up,” and now Benzino’s family is jumping into the dispute.
Uptowns Chavo, Benzino’s 21-year-old son, has dropped the track “We All Know.” The three and a half minute song takes aim at Stizz, Stevie, and his wife Joseline Hernandez.
“Man these n*ggas b*tches, and we all know it,” Chavo states in the chorus.

(AllHipHop News) Some music fans may not be aware that early on in Usher Raymond’s career the R&B superstar was trained under the tutelage of Sean “Puffy” Combs. Before Usher was even old enough to drive, the “Confessions” crooner was sharing stages with Puff’s flagship Bad Boy Records artist The Notorious B.I.G.
Montreality caught up with Usher, and the Grammy-winning singer recalled the first time he ever performed with Biggie. The show took place back before either future chart topper became diamond selling musicians.
“The first time I had ever been on stage, I was on stage with Biggie. This is back when he had his song ‘Party & Bullsh*t’,” says Usher. “There was a scene where everybody used to break into this brawl on stage. Big was there, Puff was there, Craig Mack was there, and I was there. I just happened to be 14 then.”

There is definitely something for everyone on this album, as I tried to cover all my production styles for the most part.”
The 21-track opus follows 2014’s What Goes Around and 2013’s Extended Play. Both projects were critically acclaimed.
Statik Selektah’s Lucky 7 is scheduled for release on July 7 via Duck Down Music. Fans that pre-order the album on iTunes will receive an instant download of “Beautiful Life.”

Sitting in traffic can drive anyone mad, especially in LA. The traffic there is no joke, so I’m not surprised these two didn’t want to solve things in a more civil manner.
Did his controller die? Why is he not fighting back??
New York rapper Maddrick drops a song called, “Off the Rip,” with some visuals of him moving throught the city with a few females. While simple, this video does have elements of what New York knows and love making Maddrick a favorite in his parts. “Off the Rip” almost sounds like some French Montana so we can ride with it this time around.
With plenty of weed on deck and airy production that makes you feel like you’re floating to match, Cleveland’s BFA Bleed connects with King Chip for a smoker’s anthem titled “Big 50’s”. Weed smoke fills the air as we follow Bleed around his city and Chip adds a dope verse as well, but unfortunately he doesn’t make an appearance in the video. Hit play and check out the Giuseppe Palumbo-directed video.

The story of Kalief Browder, 21, is one of abuse, triumph and tragedy.
In 2010 at the age of 16, Browder was arrested by police as a suspect in the robbery of a backpack from another teen, Browder was locked up at Rikers Island for three years, unable to raise the $10,000 needed for bail. After a long bout with depression and emotional trauma, Browder committed suicide this past weekend.
Browder’s life became a living nightmare while he awaited trial. He endured countless beatings, not only from inmates but also from corrections officers. The abuse was not only physical but also mental and emotional as he spent at least 400 days in solitary confinement. His case raised national outcries for leniency and prison reform not only for Browder, but also for the multitude of other teenagers who are placed in solitary confinement for long periods of time.
In January 2015. New York Mayor Bill de Blasio prohibited the solitary confinement of inmates under the age of 21 agreeing that the practice was too harsh and inflicted long-term emotional and physical damage. In 2013, after three years in prison, Browder was released when all charges were dropped. But the damage had already been done to Browder. He attempted suicide several times and once tried to hang himself in his cell with his bed sheet tied to a light fixture. Despite celebrity encounters and support from Jay Z, Rosie O’Donnell and Rand Paul, Browder just could not escape the emotional trauma of his incarceration. This past Friday night he reportedly told his mother, “Ma, I can’t take it anymore” and on Saturday he hung himself by using an air conditioning cord.
The story of Kalief Browder is not an isolated case in this country. The inability to afford bail even if you are innocent creates a hardship and undeserved incarceration. Many times prosecutors are aware that charges against an individual may be weak and without merit. But because of the atmosphere of getting a conviction at all costs, prosecutors will allow a person to spend excessive time in jail in an effort to coerce defendants to agree to a plea deal. Even if no investigation has been done, the incarcerated individual is innocent. Prosecutors are fully aware of the horrors of prison and count on these horrors to wear a person down,
The current school-to-prison pipeline makes the situation even more tragic when Black youth are five times more likely to be incarcerated than White youths, according to the Annie E. Casey Foundation. The number of juveniles in youth detention centers in 2010 was estimated to be approximately 70,800. It is estimated that close to 40 percent of that number are jailed in for profit facilities. There are many others like Kalief Browder in America’s correctional system. The question is how many more will meet a tragic death awaiting juvenile prison reform?

Chicago rapper Bowl King, has definitely been in the kitchen cooking up some heat with his latest project titled “No Glorification”. The mixtape is a reflection of the everyday hustle and grind. Bowl King expressed earlier this year that he had some major heat that he wanted delivered to the streets, with the first single Street Platinum that he dropped off the “No Glorification” mixtape. He even expressed his feelings about the unreal that he keeps looking over, in the most recent single titled We Ain’t Seen Him, which was a tribute to everyone who stays flexing. The new mixtape was produced by prevalent producers Rio Mack, Chase Davis, Street Execs King Ceo, and Morphius. The mixtape also has features with artist Chi Hoover, Valee, Von, and Big IL. This mixtape is dedicated to the real and everyone who grinds hard to survive. Bowl spiced the mixtape up a bit with his two host on the new project, Southern Smokes own DJ Smallz and Chicago’s own DJ Amaris. No Glorification simply states that the hustlers don’t glorify what they do to make it happen, but he made a “million out that vision bowl”, and that’s why he reigns the title Bowl King!
