Beyoncé is regarded as one of the greatest performers of our time and now she is the highest paid woman in music. Last year, she earned a cool $53 million but according to Forbes’ list of top-earning women in music, Mrs. Carter doubled what she made last year, raking in $115 million in earnings.

Taylor Swift came in behind Yoncé with $64 million. Pink took the third spot at $52 million and Rihanna placed at number four with $48 million. Katy Perry rounded out the top five with $40 million in earnings.

Knicks guard Iman Shumpert has decided to blow off some steam, but not on the basketball court. This morning he released a diss track titled “#HowtoHate” and called out Power 105. 1’s The Breakfast Club hosts Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy.
On the song he raps, “Tell Charlamagne when he see him me he better holla at me…hater/Envy better holla at me/I don’t do the fake s###/I bet they listen when it buzz and they name in it.”
The Chicago native told TMZ that he is sick and tired of Charlamagne and Envy saying reckless things and claiming that it’s for the sake of their job.
“I feel that when cameras are rolling Charlamagne and Envy will say anything for ratings and then behind the scenes will try and whisper that it’s just a job and they don’t mean any harm. But they stated some things on the radio that I felt were detrimental to my brand so I will defend my brand.”
The 24-year-old said he wrote the song for people who throw shade at celebrities and expect them to take the high road.
“Well this song is letting everyone know that even though I’m a celeb. I’m a real person that likes to have a solid understanding of respect in any relationship that I have with another person.”
Charlamagne is aware of the track and has been retweeting news stories with responses, saying he’s “harmless” and “Everybody Hates Charlamagne.”
(AllHipHop News) If you ask Hip Hop fans which 2010’s emcee has the best musical catalog, it would not be surprising to hear Big K.R.I.T.’s name come up several times. Despite the love the self-described new “King of the South” gets from die-hard fans of the culture, he has yet to gain significant mainstream attention like some of his peers.
During an interview with Montreality, K.R.I.T. was asked if he felt he was underrated as compared to acts like Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. The Mississippi-bred performer suggested his origins may play a part in why he has not reached the level of commercial success of K. Dot or Cole.
“I learned that I’m always gonna have to prove myself musically,” said K.R.I.T. “It might be cause of where I’m from. It’s still kind of hard for people to believe that it’s so much music or lyricism that can come from a place like Mississippi, based off of what they’ve been told or taught about Mississippi.”
The creator of the recently released Cadillactica album stated he is on a mission to prove there is positive music and culture coming out of the Deep South. K.R.I.T. also added that he has a great chance to have a long career, because he has certain skills that other rappers do not possess.
“The difference between me and a lot of these artists is that I can produce, not only for myself, but for other people,” K.R.I.T. explained. “I write all my lyrics. I don’t really need a writer. I mix all my own s**t, so that ensures that I’m gonna be around a long time.”
(AllHipHop News) Taylor Swift let the world know how much she loves Kendrick Lamar during this year’s Grammy awards when she rocked out to K. Dot’s performance with Imagine Dragons. It appears Kendrick is a fan of the pop superstar as well.
During an interview with Fader, the TDE emcee expressed his love for Swift’s single “Shake It Off.” He even began singing the #1 single.
“You can’t put great music in different genres. I enjoy great music outside of my own music all the time, so I definitely can see where she’s coming from when she says that she listens to the record, and it’s a great thing for her to acknowledge that and put that good energy out into the world like that,” Kendrick told the publication.
Meanwhile, Taylor celebrated her new album 1989 selling 1.287 million copies in its opening week by sharing a video of her lip-rapping Kendrick’s “Backstreet Freestyle.” The track appeared on the platinum selling album good kid, m.A.A.d city.

After reaching an agreement with prosecutors, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will face no jail time in connection with charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child, after admitting that he punished his 4-year-old with a small tree branch or “switch.”
Entering a plea of no contest to a misdemeanor charge of reckless assault, the agreement allows him to remain free and avoid the original charges of felony child abuse which could have sent him to prison for two years. Montgomery County state District Judge Kelly Case has also mandated that he complete 80 hours of community service and pay a $4,000 fine.
Said Peterson after the deal was announced, “I’m just glad this is over. I can put this behind me and me and my family can move forward.”
Since the case initially broke in September, he has been “deactivated indefinitely” and placed upon the Exempt/Commissioner’s Permission list, which has made him ineligible to participate in team activities during the duration of this case. The NFL now has the option to reinstate Peterson and order additional fines or add more time to his suspension, though no decision has been made as of yet.
